Thank you for checking out the video, I appreciate your kind words. Please feel free to check out my newer videos the camera work is much improved. Thank you for your support.
@@GoldenStateWatchShop Just finished the build! It looks stunning, the only difficult part was setting the GMT hand a bit higher to avoide the hour indeces!
Thats great man, happy to hear the build came out looking good! I really do love these "Relax" dials but you're right they don't leave much room for GMT hand clearance.
Thanks for this video. I have a PD-1662 pepsi with the DG5833 movement and after a year, of sitting on my desk and giving it a shake now and then, the stem will not screw back in all the way and it does not run but a few seconds after giving it a good shake. So I ordered a NH34A movement and hope to get it in a few days.
@rodgilbert894 thank you for checking out the video glad you liked it. I actually had the same Pagani Designs "Pepsi" for awhile before giving it to a friend of mine. Though the NH34A is a superior and more user friendly movement then the DG8533 you may run into issues trying to directly swap the movement into the case. The dial orientation and hand size will be different from the DG to the NH and the case and movement holder will be specific to holding the DG movement in place. I commend you for wanting to do the swap yourself and if you do run into issues please feel free to reach out to me and I'm more then happy to help troubleshoot. Thank you again for your support.
Hey thank you for checking out the video. I apologize for the focus, first time using this camera and the autofocus had a mind of its own. Its definitely been improved upon in more recent videos. Thank you for your support!
Hey thank you for checking out the video and yes it’s a shame I didn’t catch the focus issue earlier. A google search for “NH34 Technical Guide” should bring up several links with the full guide. Typically the explanation of the crown positions is towards the bottom. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you for your support.
Hey man thank you for checking out the channel. Unfortunately I can’t say with confidence that a NH34 will fit into that case. Sometimes sellers will make one case and use a variety of movement holders to accommodate different movements but I can’t say for sure this Parnis case is like that. One additional thing to consider is that the dial and hands won’t fit the NH34 movement. I’m sorry I couldn’t be more helpful. Please feel free to reach out with any other questions. Thank you for your support.
Hey thank you for checking out the video. The parts for these builds come from a variety of different websites including but not limited to Namokimods, crystal times, and Lucius Atelier. If you are just starting out secondhandmods is a great place to find some new and gentle used parts. AliExpress and eBay have a vast amount of parts available but it’s important to carefully look at the description to make sure that parts are compatible. I hope this is helpful, as always thank you for your support.
Hey thank you for checking out the video. Early on in the video I place the dial washer over the center pinion. Unfortunately the camera is out of focus so it’s very hard to see I apologize for that. In my other NH34 videos this process is more visible. If you have any other questions please let me know. Thank you for your support.
@@GoldenStateWatchShop Thanks for the info, they sell a a few pepsi bezels at different price points. How expensive was it this one if you don't mind me asking. Cheers
At the time of this build the bezel insert was slightly over one hundred USD. Prices often fluctuate but I would assume it will still be around that price point. If you find one for significantly lower chances are it will be an aluminum insert, or in some cases a combination of both aluminum and ceramic. Please let me know if you have any other questions, I hope this helps.
Hey man thank you for checking out the video. Please send me an email and I’d be happy to discuss various vendors and websites for parts. Thank you for your support.
Hey thank you for checking out the video. I apologize for the focus, proves how new I was to videography. I'm still trying to figure it all out and improve the video quality. Thank you for your support!
Thank you for your kind words! Unfortunately I haven't been able to use a 9075 in any builds. To my knowledge those movements have been reserved for a few select brands to use and aren't available to the general public just yet. I'd be interested to do a build with one in the future and compare the "True" GMT of the Miyota to the "Caller" GMT of the Seiko.
@35:29, what click pull out of the stem to adjust the time gmt hand, thank you. Love your video so it is educational for beginners. Also a first timer to your channel and subscribed 😊
Thank you for checking out the channel I'm glad to have you along for the ride. After unscrewing the crown from the crown tube the watch is considered to be in the 0 position which is used for winding the mainspring. Pulling the crown one click out puts it in the 1st position used for date and GMT hand adjustment. Pulling the crown out one more time will put the crown in the 2nd position, its final position, which is used for adjusting the time. I hope this helps, if you have any more questions feel free to reach out, thank you for your support!
Hey man thank you for checking out the video. Though I appreciate your willingness to support the channel I don't think I have a large enough following to establish affiliate links...yet. That said the parts come from a variety of suppliers. Places like Namokimods, Lucius Atelier, Crystal times. Second Hand Mods is also a great place to look if you don't mind building with lightly used parts. eBay and Aliexpress have a vast amount of vendors and parts but it does take some time to sift through and find higher quality items on those platforms. Again thank you very much for the support. Please feel free to reach out with any additional questions.
Absolutely & Thank you for your speedy reply! I would also be curious about the Pepsi ceramic insert to being difficult to find. Who did you get the insert from? I’m asking because I’m interested in a similar build
This Pepsi bezel was from the Wildfire Official Store via Aliexpress. It's a great insert and looks even better in person. As always if you have any other questions please feel free to ask, thank you for your support!
@chrisburton Thank you for checking out the video. To cut the dial feet I use a nipper tool. Really any kind of cutters should work. I like the nipper tool because its flat on the backside so I can get right up against the dial for a nice flush cut eliminating the need for a lot of filing. I hope this helps, please feel free to reach out if you have any additional questions.
I mainly use sites like Namokimods, Lucius Atelier and dialmaker to source parts for these builds. Ebay and Secondhandmods.com are also great places to find slightly used parts at a discount if you are looking to get into the hobby. I hope this helps, and please feel free to reach out with any additional questions. Thank you.

Hey thank you for checking out the video. You are correct lubricating the gaskets is an important step to maintain water resistance. During these early builds I lacked the proper equipment for this step and in an attempt to not display the incorrect technique I would preform the lubrication off screen. Since then I have invested in the correct equipment and higher quality lubricants and now display this step on the channel. Thank you again for your support!
Thank you for checking out the video. I apologize for the focus issues.
