Most people only think about Great Whites, but Florida waters have more than 50 different species of shark with Bull Sharks being the most dangerous.

The guy with the Grizzly is/WAS Timothy Treadwell. He was delusional. He thought he could live with bears... he even game them names. One bear gave him a name ... DINNER. Then the bear named Timothy's girlfriend ... DESSERT.

A reason why California has fewer shark attacks is that the water temperatures are usually in the 50s or low 60s. It is really cold, majority of surfers always have wetsuits on

Black Bears exist in virtually every US State, except (of course) Hawaii. I live in a major Metropolitan area in New England, black bears have been recorded on security cameras in suburban backyards less than 10 miles from Downtown.

We have crocodiles as well. The American Crocodile is the only species other than the Australian species that can thrive in salt water. They range from Florida all the way south to the Northern Coast of South America.

Do not run from a bear, their chase instinct kicks in and a grizzly can easily outrun Usbolt Bolt. Most people attacked by bear got between a mother and her cubs.

Australia and the rainforests of South America definitely rank highly on the dangerous animals list. America is having issues with some invasive species. Florida, for example, has Nile crocodiles in it, along with several non-indigenous snakes now.

what people dont understand about bears especially the ones in america is they're actually pretty people-scared and tend to want to mind their business. the danger comes from when hunger drives them to dig into trashbins out of desperation

Black bears, check. I have stood at the window with a cup of coffee and watched one walk across the back yard. Deer, check. Most mornings I either see a few or evidence of their passing. Snakes and spiders, check. I live in very rural Georgia and a good percentage of the animals on this list are my neighbors.

Yes, deer ! Back In June, only 1.5 miles from my home, a deer ran out onto a four lane road in a business district and crashed through the windshield of a city bus. Three passengers were injured but only by broken glass. Nearly 450 people are killed each year in the US as a result of deer/vehicle accidents.

When I see this I am so happy that we don't have that kind of venomenous spiders or snakes, no alligators or crocs. The biggest cat you might find is a lynx. We do have very few brown bears or wolves, and of course lifestock and deer. I always thought the most dangerous animals around here were the wild boars.

I've lived in areas that have bears my whole life and there are 3 rules to remember. 1: if it's black, fight back. 2: If it's brown, lay down (Feign death) 3: If it's white say goodnight. (You're done. White would be a polar bear, and I don't believe there are any known survivors of Polar Bear attacks.)

~raises hand~ Shark phobic here! And it was Jaws that did it, the book not the movie. I've never seen the movie and have no plans to. I appreciate that the video had a label before showing them because I can't even deal with photos. So naturally I'm constantly seeing posters/magazine covers/ads for shark media! Not sure they're especially bad just in the US. Snakes, yeah, I can deal with those especially since my state doesn't have any that are venomous. Very interesting list! Thanks for sharing that!

The high number of deer "incidents" (>50,000) is almost certainly because of their habitat. When the wooded areas are only cleared to about 2-3 meters from roadways, and the average white-tail deer able to jump up to 10 meters, they can appear from the bush into a road in a fraction of a second.

Mosquitos. We spend more money for mitigating mosquito populations than on prevention of attacks by all of these other animals combined.
And btw, never run from a bear. It makes them want to chase and hunt. Black bears you charge and yell and can easily scare them off usually. Brown bears you back away slowly, talking calmly, not taking your eyes off the bear (hoping there's only one). And if a brown bear charges, shoot or play dead.

I live where there are a lot of black bears. I have photos of a mama bear and 2 cubs in a tree that has branches that overhang my yard. They are very intelligent and playful animals. Every year people post pictures of them playing on children's gym sets, lounging in plastic kiddie pools, etc. Most people here enjoy seeing them. Of course, having one open your car door and trash the interior is not fun.

I had the dubious honor of being stung by an Asian Giant Hornet let me tell you it feels like what I imagine getting shot with a nail gun feels like. It got me on the top of my head and it swelled up like golf ball and I couldn’t wash my hair or brush that spot without it bringing tears to my eyes for 3 days afterwards. I also ended up coming down with a fever a couple hours after it happened and my neck, shoulder, and jaw stiffened up, it was terrible.
It ranks up there on my pain scale just below breaking a bone(finger and toe), and above gashing open the webbing between two of my toes. It’s tied with busting my chin open on the side of a pool and getting chlorine water in the wound. I’m lucky I’m not allergic, my dad and grandma are allergic and if they’d gotten stung they would’ve had to go to the hospital.

I'm so ready for it to get colder so, the insects go back to the hell they come from! Got stung twice this year and no, I wasn't messing with them.😂 I've hit a deer and, I've had 2 hit my car. I saw a black bear from my car and that's as close as I want to be to a bear. Spiders and snakes don't worry me too much. I was born and raised in the south and now I live in Wisconsin. I live near water and I've never seen so many spiders in my life! They're everywhere! My biggest fear is, bears. I'm terrified. I think they're beautiful, and amazing, but I don't want a close encounter.🫣

Australia has the most venomous snakes in the world, and Asia is distant second place. The Taipans, the Eastern Brown snake, and the Tiger snakes rank among the most venomous according to a list by Wiki. On the list also are Sea Snakes. The snakes in the USA are the junior varsity in comparison.

Bears and cougars are pretty rare east of the Mississippi except in isolated areas. My local area of the Appalachians has a confirmed bear sighting about once a decade, you'd be hard pressed to find a cougar outside of Florida anymore. I'm surprised the grey wolf or coyote didn't make the list. First time I've seen cattle and horses on one of these lists.

For the longest time the only video like this list was an older really corny almost silly video. The critter I might of missed amongst stinging insects was the scorpion, they usually only hurt little kids and elderly people. The brown recluse basically sets off an acid bomb and can destroy a large chunk of muscle tissue

  • @stevedavis5704
    @stevedavis5704 15 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

They don’t go into it in that video but moose are in the same family as deer and they are very dangerous to mess around with. Especially nowadays if you hit a deer it will totally mess up your car but a moose will just total your car. There was a time when the only car that was felt to give you a better than fifty percent chance of survival in a moose collision was a Volvo sedan or station wagon. A deer around where I grew up would be about 250 pounds for an adult male but a moose can be over 1,000 pounds. One of the things that gets at least one hunter around here every year is the office worker who goes to the gym for a couple of weeks before the start of the season and then goes a half a mile or more into the bush, shoot a deer and then try to drag it out of the bush without giving themselves a heart attack. Worse yet they go out by themselves so nobody knows there is a problem until they don’t come home when expected. We also have problems with people who try to carry or in other ways handle deer and find out that a leg with the hoof on it works a lot like a spear. The main thing we need to remember about critters, whether in the woods or the ocean is that we are in their living room so we need to look out for them.

Well here's the thing. Pit bull isn't a breed it's a type and that term covers a min of 5 breeds. Plus I've literally seen so called professionals label a LAB as a pit. So when you consider that's at least 5 breeds plus the number of people that label any breed with a large head as a pit bull it's no wonder the numbers are screwed up.

OBIWANCANOLI - I've never heard that in my long life. I'm not saying you didn't. My niece had 3 Dalmatians around her toddler and slightly older child with no problems. Quit a few Dalmatians are deaf and that could make them startle easily. They aren't among the most intelligent breeds either. Chihuahuas are very prone to biting even their family members. They just don't kill people, so you don't hear about it. The stats on pitbulls, however, are shocking.
