the guy is from LOCA, a clan full of very competent players, know them from Blitz so trust me on that... I think they even get themselves on the regional championship tournaments multiple times so yeah strong clan
I'm pretty sure that at 7:18 Mykill turned around not just to check for arty, but also to make them think that they're going that way. It's a really smart move especially when you need to clutch the game :)
north spawn sucks on this map. I've repushed the pond from the hulldown position at mid, but if there are big gunned TDs and no one to go with me, it's not wise. A surprise flanking for the pond position usually win the game for north. People just need to grow a pair and counter, instead of sitting around, waiting for the inevitable death.
The biggest reason Why he won is because there was no enemy he had to take serious - like an Skoda T50 yoloibg him, enemies with an good gun and brain like an SConqueror or E5, and huge mountains were covering him against arta. No wonder to be honest, as mentioned he went kind of bald against the arty at the end but the kolobanov was stilk well deserved
E-50M got turret buffed to 250mm front, 150mm sides, and 80mm rear. The upper hull has ALWAYS been strong, 150mm sloped 60°+ for on average, 300mm of effective armor before angling. And thr gun, definitely great for sniping (2nd most accurate med) Old E-50M turret used to be 185mm front, 80mm everywhere else.
For me is THE German Laser Gun in WoT. Leo's one was too erratic for me. And this one on E50M... It' was great years ago when I played it, it's still amazing when I came back these days (and bought that postapo 3D style to celebrate the return of prodigal son:)
Good game, but i disagree heavily with the opening position. Like you said there are 5 td's, what you did not mention is that there is also a lt432 on the enemy team. I would expect the LT to drive to E5, he would be there a lot faster so unspotted, all it takes after that is a quick peek towards F4 and the guy would have been immediately open for any forestcamping td's. The opening position overall is just terrible imo, i hate fighting there, for the initial spots and quick shots on anyone driving up mid - sure - but to stick there any longer is usually just begging to lose health, especially as a toptier it does not seem to be rewarding.

I think suggesting how arty should of played is a tad optimistic. It’s arty, the only map awareness they have is where the nearest body of deep water is.
I would def load HE for the arty, all 3 are easily pennable and E50M has 510 avg on it so a tiny bit more of aiming for not getting hit by the same arty twice ever
That was a good replay. I’m suprised you’ve never used that mid play Lem. We do it to counteract the play we’d make if we have the other spawn (rush mid, take the ramp and then crossfire the field). If they get the ramp then you’re pretty much relying on them to make a whole lot of really bad mistakes. (Kinda like the enemy did here).

I used to routinely load HE, but then I would get too many low damage results - especially if your gun is less that 120 mm. So now I mostly use AP unless I have a 120 mm and larger gun.
Because if you have a gun smaller than 120mm, in the 50m’s case a 105mm, you risk not penning and doing like 100 damage. You have 60 HE pen on the E50m The GW tiger has 37mm of effective armour on the upper structure and 43mm on the lower structure, as well as tracks Tracks will absorb high explosive rounds and the armour that some arty’s have is enough that if you were to low roll your 60 pen because of RNG, you might not pen the GW and your HE will do like 100 damage
Don't have to dismiss people's games like that. He made really great plays to carry that game. He used some gold rounds against the heavies and the JagTiger, which is what they were designed for. He was pretty judicially selective of his rounds choice, in the middle of it all, pretty impressive given the context.

For me and my platoon mate it's spamming HE in our 277s, 113s, and 5A-s....It's a whole lot of fun pumping the enemy full of damage and criticals knowing that their armor is worthless. We have sold all premium ammo from our Tier 10 tanks and only shoot AP and HE nowadays. We don't care if we don't do 3-4k dmg in every round....it's more fun this way and not to mention when you don't spam gold, you can keep expenses down too.
Buffing , everyone buy's until Kellerman, baby quickly and others complain,..............well maybe not Claus(he's German) then after everyone has bought the E50M, WOT Nerfs it again. The cycle plays out over and over with all the tanks
