What kind of University pays their lecturers by the hour!? Even super fresh post-doc assistants get 30$/hr+, tried to work out what a Junior Lecturer salary would be hourly, and even at 60hr week, the least I could make it be is 40$. But that's working 12 hour days, with no seniority and not counting holiday pay etc! Admittedly, we don't go into academia for the money, but if you are making 25/hr - something has gone horrendously wrong. Jr lecturer salary in NZ is 50-100k, senior 100-200k, professors - quite a bit more; not counting extras and sabbaticals etc... Plus, you can apply for extra funding from various orgs etc.... I just can't fanthom 25$/hr
Nope. WoT is a game and so is life but to prepare for one is entertainment, the other is to prepare for a life with gainful employment, home, marriage, car, retirement, etc, etc. don’t confuse them. You are needed at the university more than you know. Don’t ever go behind that. Peace.
I think the game play in this video illustrates some great lessons through the tactical awareness that you show (and, for me at least, tactical awareness is the toughest lesson to learn). Both games illustrate this in their own right but taken together the lesson is even stronger. The point being that you fought both battles in the same tank and both maps also shared some similarity with both having a city flank and a more open flank. In the first you flexed a great deal through out the entire battle whereas in the second you took the tactical decision to try and hold the centre ground based on it's strategic importance, but despite these different tactical approaches (played in the context of how the battles played out) the common theme that stood out to me was that you were very selective of who you fought and you worked hard to take those fights on your terms. I think this is an important lesson because I know I have a tendency to "fight what is in front of me" with little regard for how that fits in with the rest of the battle. So, in the first battle, whereas you were quick to fall back from the city flank when I probably would have pushed on with the rest of the team because you had the awareness of what you might be pushing in to. In the second battle it kind of happened in reverse in that you took the decision to try and hold the centre because you had the awareness of it's strategic importance but also because you had awareness of team mates who should have been able to help cover you and help whittle down the opposition as they pushed into you. Well played!
It’s hard to remember in the midst of gameplay but he is always banging on about strats, most of us focus on micro plays and forget the bigger picture.
11:07 if you are in a fast tank you should consider knocking that tree towards the north to make a small pocket of chiki briki to protect you if they manage to advance through line 1

I have the 140 and its the Lamborghini of mediums at T10 (at least in your control). 👍🏻 There’s some info around about the skills of the commander having recon and the Gunner having snap shot to improve shooting at a distance but the 140 will be almighty if that is true. I must say I seem to hit more with those skills than miss.
That actually sums it up perfectly why I play wot so satisfying being in those situations especially when you pull victories. Even if it means putting up with WG predatory tactics lol

Hey lemming, I hope you take advice: It's never a good idea anymore to run vents + fire extinguisher. Just run food and modified configuration instead if you are worried about fires. It gives your crew additional 5 % over the vents, and the modified configuration prevents one ammorack/fuel tanks fire/ engine destruction per game, + gives those modules so much hp, that they are virtually invulnerable anyways + you get repair speed. I run that in my IS3-II, and I have not been set on fire one single time. It works...
Im totally an advocate for mentoring in this game! it helped my first 5000 games be much smoother and help the process to become a unicum, I was lucky enough to have a clan leader take me under his wing being a total noob. Been having a hard time choosing the stb-1 or 140 for random battles and the conq on emil 2. I have all unlocked but can only get 2. with the new buff i think the 140 might be the best t10 med but that crazy gun depression on the stb-1 would be nice. But i wish the stb-1 had better shell velocity.

always shoot the one shoot tanks first instead of farming full health tanks, thats tanking 101. When you didnt shoot the one shoot tanks you lost your E100 witch is why you went to that ridge in the first place, outcome could of been different if that was done. Just my 2cents
1e game, i think it was right to go back to the field. It keeps arty live and lets the city team focus w/o any flanks on them (/they dont have to divide to counter a cap)

Thanks the Lemming, here, and learning map strata, tank tactics, map awareness, and a survival mindset, my recent is squarely in the green and I have individual days that end in the blue. He's doing God's work.
Yes but in most cases he’d have spotted them gaining a potential 2 early shots in. By side scraping you block your teammate from engaging resulting in a single shot of early damage. Right play, didn’t work out.

i knew the second game was a loss from those 2 missed shots on enemy Patton 11:41 , 12:12 . Claus was right, it doesn't matter how good you are, if RNG has decided that you will lose, the game will fu*k up your shots and your team shots to make sure you lose
It depends on your play style, the 140 is still not an in your face brawler with big alpha in the way the 430u is, and the 430u can't snipe or spot like the 140 can.
Wait. It makes a difference? I just recently returned to the game (maybe three weeks ago?), and knew they changed the equipment stuff. It was a little overwhelming, so I just threw all my equipment back on. I've got a ton of though unmounting tokens, so I can change it if I've made a mistake somewhere. I just didn't realize...
@@nat20dm each vehicle now has one specialised equipment slot, depending on its vehicle type. heavies have survivability, lights have spotting, meds have mobility and tds have firepower. each equipment falls into one or more categories, and vents is in all 4, since it improves everything. so putting the vents in slot one increases its effect from 5% to 6%. this only works on standart equipment tho, meaning bounty or bond vents stay at 7.5% and 8.5% respectivly no matter which slot theyre in

In the first game if you had stayed in the city you would have lost the game. The enemy had won the field until you showed up completely blunting there field push. If you hadn't done that they would have easily capped or flanked all of you in the city. Going the field was definitely the winning move even though it cost you damage. Remember, it is SUPPOSE to be a team game, not an individual player game.
So I play mostly on console, but I’ve recently been playing on pc. I bought the IS-3A because I’m a nerd and the auto reloaders on console have been nerfed so badly that there just garbage. Anyways my first couple games were terrible because I was getting used to mouse and keyboard, but then I pulled a 1v4 clutch with 4.4k damage. Weeeee Also I’m not your average noob who buys a tier 8 and gets rekt, I have a 55% winrate on console with 13k ish battles. I kinda know what’s up
twice you make a mistake that results in the team's lost. If you had killed the hawk... you would still have two arty, if you killed the enemy in the city your teammate in the city would had more to contribute instead of dying because you refused to make the kill.

If you mean looking at skins mentally slows you down then yeah maybe, but adding camo skin will not physically slow you down as it weighs zero (was 99% sure you were trolling but I did just test this in the garage just in case :) ). Missing out on 3% camo will go a long way to explaining why you were outspotted on the corner though, I'm virtually never outspotted in my 140

Your 13 90 in game 1 was super useful. Had their arty stayed alive you might have lost the game. Especially later in the city fight.
The Hwk in the second game followed the advice of the 13 90 in the first game.

It depends on your play style, the 140 is still not an in your face brawler with big alpha in the way the 430u is, and the 430u can't snipe or spot like the 140 can.
