My opinion in short: good position but not reliable. Just tried this position with my E50M with 466 viewrange, got bullied by just one M60 at A9. This position doesn't work if someone would just fire at you endlessly and even with HE just to suppress you. Also when there is no stupid enemy going to city in the low ground route and go into the central part of city, there is nothing to spot and farm at in the beginning. I am lucky enough to not get yoloed in the mid and survive to the end. Dealt 3.5k damage and 1k assist but exp is bad because most damage is from end game enemy in the high ground of 0 line spotted by teammate.

i have had a 121 for years since it was my first tank line. i am not the greatest in it and dont have manny ace tankers so i dont bother uploading replays of it. i find tha the turret armor and hull lets you down quite frequently. the thing also gets set on fire easily if they pen ur front hull. (fuel tank seems to get damaged way faster than on the Russian meds.)
The reason I think this play worked is because there were no light tanks to do early spotting. If he had gotten spotted early by an ebr or lt100 or something the likelyhood of this succeeding would be way lower
I just love how Ridge Wallets keep sponsoring you when you just press play on the same ad in which you say you are doing it because they pay you to. Also that position on the middle road worked out fantastic and I would love to try it but I expect to either be beaten to it by the other side or yoloed if I get there first.
Appreciate the games you select due to their significance to great game play. This is important. For myself it really helps to see other players better than me and the choices they make in order to succeed on a given map. I have to admit I probably wouldn’t have made the choice of the tactical position to farm credits but seeing is believing. Trouble is the way the game works each game is NOT repeatable in the way of tactics, winning or stat padding.
I remember unlocking the 121 when it first came out because my Clan Leader had it and i thought it looked cool. Holy shit that thing had terrible gun elevation back then. It was almost impossible to use it in any map that wasn't a city.

Yeah, often you get rushed by 2 mediums and smashed in seconds in that position since you tend to have no fire support that early in that position as the others are still driving to position
I had a similarly good carry game in my 121 on Erlenberg last month that I uploaded. lol I probably would have aced it if I hadn't left the cap circle a second too late. It was pretty cool though because I'm normally a really average player (52.5% WR) and I almost felt like a unicum.
The problem with that position is, is that if you aren't on RU, it will not work most of the time. The RU server for whatever reason you can make a lot more aggressive plays that we used to make on NA and EU. At least, that's been my observation from Top tier replays. Considering all they ever share are RU replays.
The 5A is an absolute beast. I built it for sheer dpm and spotting. I run food, purple rammer, purple vents and purple optics. With 5 almost 6 perk crew and the orderly ammo rack directive I have a 8.15s (7.3s with adrenaline rush) reload and 531 view range. Combined with decent armour and mobility, it’s a scary tank. Though quite expensive to run so I only use it for advances/clan wars. Or if I feel like seal clubbing/ shitting on chieftains.

If you know how to over come that it might be even slightly better. I have caused people in chieftains to back away from flanks/positions when they saw that they couldn’t out trade me. Though only in times where they couldn’t go hulldown over a ridge. If they’re hull down on a ridge, it becomes a battle of attrition and is more in a favour for the chieftains.
ive been using that position in my lights, meds and fast heavies for the last year or so, it is a great spotting and damage position and 90% of the time gets me more than 5k combined
Seems like you need a reasonably fast tank to get to that position. I doubt my VK.45.02B would even make it that far before enemies were in position to vapourize me. :D
i accidentally discovered this location when i was a total shitter at this game and it was my best game for years, been playing it ever since. its nuts
I was uploading replays for a couple of months. Now when I try with any replay it says, "Massive Error Occurred. Please try again later." So, I try later and it say that video has already been uploaded. I check and they don't have that video. So, I try to upload another video and I get the same thing. "Massive Error Occurred." Has anyone else experienced this problem, because I still want to keep uploading.
@@herrvorragend1175 you realy dont know how big the black market is for cheatinjectors. who said everyone..? its allmost 5-10% of all players in allmost every PC-Game with bigger community. There are some legit cheats build for every new patch as fast as the patch finnished. So maybe in allmost every Game developers has to leave open gates for cheats to do some big Money in the Background.
This spot is good until you don’t get shot back at from the city/church. If something more heavy hitting decides to shoot you have little manoeuvring space to hide. It’s just a place where flat tanks shine
I've done that play many times and normally you get yolo'd and your team doesn't support you because most players in this game have an IQ barely above a doorknob.
Its the only bond tank I want tbh. When I originally got WoT I went up Chinese line first. I'm sure though there are replays of 121 B since I've seen it around more than regular 121 players

9 times out 10 arty will hide at the back of the little hill behind their cap circle on this map and focus the town and valley so it shouls safe most of the time. Of course there will always be the odd time when some smart arse will propell his gun to the middle and have shots on the on you... ☺
His first three shots were poorly lead and he was almost perfectly aiming and shooting at the is7 spaced armor. He honestly looks like he's nervous or something. Other than that GGs

I think he meant there are no replays in tbis patch, its not like there havent been any good 121 replays since it was introduced.
I think they delete any videos over a few months old, because I've looked for some of my older uploads and they weren't there any longer.

That position worked because all of the enemy arty was positioned on the valley side. One arty should of been on the city side.
Not really possible when a 121 sits in this position since arty would get spotted.
