- I'm proud to present my first short documentary called "Camden Punks".
The main character is Anderson, better known as Zombie Punk who spends his days in Camden. He is quite a celebrity there, with people coming from several countries to take a picture with him.
Here you'll meet his friends as well, they will all talk about what does being punk means to them, where do their clothes come from, what they do during the day.
I hope this video will give you a better idea about these amazing people part of an amazing subculture. Hope you enjoy!

Nothing likes the punks i used to know and was. It was a way of life back then, we didn't dress up for a few bob. It was a finger up at society and the establishment.
yea, punk is now more of a fashion, playing dress up for attention and to be apart of the crowd. A uniform to say you are on the left and part of the LGBTQ community.
Back then we didnt really care about those things(Im from LA so maybe different then the Brits). If you were gay, fine, no one really care(some did, and some lost their teeth for it), but being farleft/socialist seemed anti-punk(knowing what the communist and socialist would have done/did to actual punks at the time in East Germany or the USSR).
Most of the scenes from that time seem to have gone that way. For instance; The goth scene is now just a S&M, fetish, and kink, scene in LA/Hollywood.

Haven't been to camden in about 20 years. It used to be a really magical place with a dodgy market. I'm not sure if I want to go back.

I'd say I'm a very regular teen, very normie and dresses regularly (boring). Went to Camden town and I absolutely loved it. The style people had, the vibes, it was so fucking cool.
