I bought the amber version of the Harley Benton CTS-24 about a year ago and I have mixed fillings about it. Definetly you get a lot for the money but there are a lot of things that bother me about it. For starters the fretboard is the uglyest I've ever seen on a guitar. It looks like pressed cartboard died black, witch it is. I see the new models come with a diferent one witch should be an improvement. The screws are very low quality. 2 screws from the back plate just broke off and remained stuck in the guitar. Can't tell if they are rusted or just flimsy but they are falling apart. And the wraparound bridge is flawed. To adjust the intonation you have to screw in a screw to push the bridge but when you do that, the bridge moves out of the socket and it rests just on the screw so the whole bridge tilts forward from the tension. I would have preffered a tunomatic bridge or even string through. The tuners are also not great. They hold tune but they are very hard to turn and not very precise.
hey toman , im dutch , wich is inbetween england and Germany . now , if i am interested in guitars and check your site , i be looking at the page of that guitar . then there is no info , no written text about the guitar , no reviews no nothing . not even the colour is mentioned , or in what other colours it comes . andertons , british , my other neighbours got all this hapening at a guitar's page , including an actual foto of that guitar ( im talkin gibsons what else) . why ?

The first high gain tone with the ghost fret was awful. With respect to the presenters. The guy with the beanie doesn’t have clean playing which isn’t very pleasant to listen to. With both presenters I recommend taking a second look at vibrato and how they do it. It seems with these guys it’s very fast and and from the fingers rather than the wrist. Hope these guys improve!
