Nice. So tell us what you did to the engine. What you are really working with is a 340 with a smaller bore. I'm just wondering if you've matched the parts for performance. 346/360 heads for starters because the 6-pack intake has those bigger ports.
I put 340 x heads on with a .284/.291 .484 hydraulic flat tappet comp cam, refreshed rings and bearings. Pretty much a 340-6 with 22 less cubes
What would be the reliability of that .318 ? Just curious..
