    In Japan apparently it’s the norm to release 2-3 tracks at once for “singles”

      Yes, there are still physical releases of singles in Japan. It is usual to have two or three tracks and sometimes, instrumental versions of these tracks (but it's not the case for this single).

      Used to be the norm in the west when physical releases were a thing, usually you'd get 1 or 2 tracks from the album, and a B-Side

    CD's are still the main release format in Japan. CD Singles almost always have 2-3 songs (the lead track and a b-side). Mephisto is the b-side to Curse, just like Disobey was the b-side to Watch Me Burn. They aren't releasing multiple singles, just digitally releasing what they put out physically in Japan.

    Imagine if they were able to write songs with Japanese lyrics too.

      Dexcore does as well, are they contractually obligated to do only English lyrics?

      @@nickhauff5515 No. They've been writing exclusively in english since their first release in 2006

    I heard rumors they program drums on their songs instead of having the drummer play it which why tf would they do that

    • @coal_91
      @coal_91 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Where did you hear that? I don‘t know. I mean their drummer plays the stuff live perfectly, so it‘s not like they are a studio band.

      Most bands do that...

      Who cares in the end? If it sounds good it doesn't matter. Music isn't a competition with rules and unfair advantages
