Gracie, thank you for producing a reaction video of this beautiful duet by Lucy (17) and her younger sister Martha (12) Thomas. I have never in all my years in music heard anyone ever sing a duet that was so 'perfect'. They matched pitch, volume, and even vibrato. And they did it with 1 microphone. Lucy is such a powerful singer that she could easily out sing her younger sister. But Martha held her own magnificently. They have 3 other duets they have recorded over last year. Defiantly a powerful singing team that will make it big. Lucy already has a number of Albums, Singles, and Originals. Her last one went to Top 20 in United Kingdom in less than 1 week. If you haven't heard Lucy perform 'Hallelujah' I highly recommend listening to it. I heard it for the first time last year and I was absolutely blown away. After I picked myself up off the floor, I listened to it another 20 times. Her rendition is the BEST I have ever heard in my entire life. Lucy was only 16 when she recorded it. Jackie is amazing but for me Amira Willighagen is better and seems more seriously focused on her intended target audience of Opera/Classical Crossover whereas Jackie seems to be getting distracted by unnecessary publicity stunts (The Masked Singer) 🙄 and a more commercial based Pop niche. Lucy Thomas in the musical theatre/ballad showtunes genre is the most sensational discovery in decade's
@@adamknight7904 I won't say that Amira is better than Jackie, just that she has a true opera voice, whereas Jackie never claimed to be nor ever wanted to have. Jackie has the more versatile voice, so why should she be forced to limit herself to one style like you want her to? As she showed on MS, she can sing any genre. Amira can't and probably doesn't want to. Pressure and criticism such as yours are probably part of the emotional problems she has had to deal with. I also agree with your assessment of Lucy Thomas. Her voice is different than either Jackie or Amira and is definitely geared toward the stage, which is where she's apparently headed this year with Rosie.
@@OldBoiler62 for me Jackie at an early age just like Charlotte Church had the potential to mature into a superb operatic voice but she got sidetracked by other genre's and had to adapt her technique, there's nothing wrong with that and like you say it shows her versatility I just think Amira's voice is probably the most angelic I've heard in many years.

She was labeled as one because she sang a couple of arias on AGT and they had nothing else to label her as. She didn't get sidetracked because she did what she wanted to do. Who gave you and some of her other supposed fans the authority to tell her what she should do, just because it pleases you? How many arias has she done since doing "Nessun Dorma" at age 11? Maybe one over the course of seven albums? I get tired of explaining this to "fans" like you. They complained about this, they complained about her growing out her cute little dresses and started dressing for her age. Did it ever occur to you that such pressure, along with the normal pressures of being a celebrity at that age contributed to her emotional break over a year ago? She's coming back, but it will by awhile before she's back to normal. As to Amira, I have no problem with her voice. I agree that she has a great opera voice and that is apparently the direction she wants to go. My only complaint with her was that she was into her teens and still had developed no stage presence.
@@OldBoiler62 Her first full length album almost entirely comprised of classical arias so you're totally wrong to suggest she only performed Nessun Dorma and a few operatic pieces, I'm not telling her what to do as she's obviously happy doing what she's doing but for me she has wasted alot of her potential as her voice clearly had the tonal richness for opera/classical, she utilises her voice well seeing Pop amf Broadway stuff too but to me whilst she sounds technically polished it lacks the warmth and emotive integrity of other more natural Pop singers singing those tracks and when she used to sing classically, but that's just me. 🤷♂️
