If you're watching this video, you most likely know who Napoleon Hill is and what his legacy is that left to the world.
But still we think it would be valuable to share:
A list with all Books by Napoleon Hill which some people simply call Napoleon Hill Books.
    1. "The Law of Success" (1928) which sometimes people confuse for Laws of Success but the prior is correct.
    2. "The Magic Ladder To Success" (1930)
    3. "Think and Grow Rich" (1937), Napoleon Hill's most popular book. In fact so popular that many people search for
the Think and Grow Rich Audio and Think and Grow Rich Quotes constantly even 80 years after the book has actually been
    published officialy.
    4. "Outwitting the Devil" (1938)
    5. "How to Sell Your Way through Life" (1939)
    6. "The Master-Key to Riches" (1945)
    7. "How to Raise Your Own Salary" (1953)
    8. "Success Through a Positive Mental Attitude" (with W.. Clement Stone )(1959)
    9. "Grow Rich!: With Peace of Mind" (1967)
10."Succeed and Grow Rich Through Persuasion" (1970)

Napoleon Hill and his mentor, Andrew Carnegie, have done more good for this world than all the politicians combined. Dirty secret or not; these two humans have shared a philosophy of personal achievement that trancends time, politics, religion, or circumstance. I am personally indebted and forever grateful to both of them for laying out a path that I could follow when my own life seemed like it was over. Never quit, never give in to negativity, and always believe there is a power within yourself to guide you towards greatness.

Dr. Hill credits Carnegie for much of his success. It was a far gone conclusion, between the two trailblazers, that Dr. Hill would use the lessons he received from Carnegie in his research, which eventually led to him writing 'The Laws of Success', among other life-changing books. The point is those laws are Universal. Neither Hill nor Carnegie owns them and anyone can use them to better their life. The genuis is that Dr. Hill showed the world HOW to apply each of the principles. There's nothing secret or dirty about what he did.

Hey Peter, well found out and thank you for your study. =) After reading both books, and yes I started with 'Think and Grow Rich', the truth Napoleon Hill pointed out remains unbroken for me. If I would have started to read 'How to raise your own salary' first, I would not be were I'm right now. Think and Grow Rich helped me to understand time and again the 'What', where I had to find my own 'How' and this made the difference for me. Now I know, because I experienced it myself and this was most certainly the case for Napoleon Hill after 20+ years. If you don't experience it yourself, you might just shake off 'How to raise your own salary' as a good book for your shelf.

I'm only a few chapters in and it's already obvious to me that this book is Tony robbin's bible. Carnegie invokes the term "personal power", talks about the latin etymology of words that Tony uses, and the phrase that "knowledge is potential power". This is a book on a very high level of sophistication and I recommend it highly. I find it extraordinary that Robbins doesn't recommend it and am unsure why this isn't considered a classic.

Fun fact. Much of what Napoleon Hill wrote about was based in Hermetic philosophy and the occult. Not the Hollywood fictionalized version of the occult. Not satanic worship mumbo jumbo. The real occult. The occult was tge original self help industry before it became a thing in the public eye. If you'd like a good read, grab a copy of the Kybalion if you have not yet read it. You won't regret it.
I still think Law of success is Napoleon Hill's best work. Its something about the stories in that book that makes the principles stick in the minds eye. However, I do feel it is important to read them all. They all have portions of law of success in them and sometimes it helps to hear the same information in multiple different ways.

Thank you for the video and also the immense passion.
There is no doubt that Napoleon Hill produced some incredibly important insights and his work has inspired millions of people around the world.
However there are some interesting articles out there portraying him as a conman and there is even significant suspicion that he did not even meet Andrew Carnegie.
I am not saying I don't subscribe to much of his teachings but I think it is worth exploring this other side of Napoleon Hill to truly understand why he created books such as Think and Grow Rich and to ensure one has a balanced view of what is presented by Napoleon Hill.
As Jim Rohn once said: "Be a student, not a follower."

There is another book written by Nepolian Hills wife after he died that I came across in an old bookstore that tells about what Henry Ford took out of the original manuscript. This is the key ingredient that ties the law of success on 17 lessons. When I read it I was blown away. Without it the manuscript is very watered down. Seems ford couldn't stop the widow from letting it out.

Nishanthi Karunarathna it might be the one titled Outwitting The Devil. Napoleon Hilo’s estate released it after his death out of fear of sullying his name because he had a discussion with the devil. In the book Hill says you can take it however you want. Literally or figuratively. Nevertheless, major gems dropped in that one. More metaphysical in nature.

I think it's Amazing what you have discovered. The lesson here would be from Andrew Carnegie, in that knowing is not enough we must do. Quite simply Napolean Hill could have just done anything, however he chose to research and understand what Carnegie had given unto him. Therefore Napoleon Hill became one of Andrew Carnegie's greatest Legacies, as he wanted to leave his Riches, ie these 'Secrets of Success' behind. Just building Libraries isn't enough. So here we have an amazing Lineage from Carnegie to Napoleon Hill and presently Bob Proctor. What amazing ripples in the pond has Carnegie created. For me the 'understanding that Knowing is enough, we must do' came from my childhood idol the late Bruce Lee, since I am a martial artist. However, doing isn't just enough by itself either, we must know how and why to do things with the greatest results. Thanks again for your great you tube insights on the late Napoleon Hill and Andrew Carnegie. I've watched some of the Andrew Carnegie documentaries on you tube and they are also fascinating. Go forth, with love and create :)

Thank you for pointing this out. I ordered the book right away. The question remains why Carnegie did not just write the book himself....I guess he knew that people would believe the principles more if they were supported by all the successful people at the time and not just him. I guess he also knew that it would take all these interviews to convert Hill into a believer and a prophet of these principles wich would end up being more effective than his own writings. Just remember that Carnegie was not just loved at the time by the public. People had not forgotten his aggressive business tactics and the Homestead strikes where he had his own workers shot at and killed. Just like Rockefeller the public loathed the big robber Barrons of the time like Rockefeller. All of them tried to clear their names through philanthropy in later years. Just like Bill Gates does today.

Napoleon Hill may have borrowed the philosophies, but what he brought to the table was the succinct version wrapped as a philosophy: DESIRE + FAITH. Think and Grow Rich is meant to illustrate, and hide from the unprepared, the philosophy in action. Bob Proctor understands this book probably better than any other living person.

I read Napolean Hill's book "Think And Grow Rich" over 30 years. This book was a life changer for me. Go get the book and read about some of the things are in this book:
    >What is Sexual Transmutation?
    > What it means to be Three Feet From Gold?
    > The Power of Persistence!
This book started a total sea change in my way of thinking...

Peter Antonio Napoleon Hill also wrote another little known title “think your way to wealth” in 1948.I believe it wasn’t a bestseller so after a few years that same book was retitled “How to raise your salary “.This is because the contents are the same:Napoleon Hill interviews Andrew Carnegie and had the 17 principles of individual achievement explained to him.If you do your research well you’ll discover I’m telling you the truth. For true verification use the “invisible counselors “ technique and if you’re successful Napoleon Hill will tell you himself !

I too have not read "How to Raise your own salary", but I have studied "Think Your Way to Wealth", the short hand interview of Mr. Carnegie by Hill. I would like to know your expert analysis of when comparing "Think your way to wealth" to "How to Raise your Own salary" and why the later, is "Hill's best book 10 x" like you mentioned? In "Think and Grow Rich" (1937), the secret is mentioned no fewer than 100 times, and at least once in every chapter. Other books may in fact be helpful to read as one progresses in the personal development process. Many books should be read and re-read over the years. Recently I purchased a new hard cover edition. The first two paperbacks I bought were so tattered and marked up, it was time to buy a new one. It's an individual's choice to be poor or not poor. Subsequently, we feel obligated to offer the opportunity to all poor folk, to simply request a copy of Og Mandino's book "Greatest Salesman in the World". Many don't bother to request their free (no obligation) copy, or, take action to change. It's not about how many corporations you own or how many companies you control -- we have a little postcard offering free information that we place in small businesses and various Church 'poor boxes' ...most people simply want something for nothing and are unwilling to EARN their way to the top.
They don't believe. We're talking middle class people here. Even the most destitute can change, if they choose to.

having spent a long time researching about this subject, reading countless books, meditating about it, I know that think and grow rich is truly the book that contain the secret, like you said the other books talk about what, "have faith" but you can't juste have it like that it is a result ! I haven't found anyone who was able to connect the dots, like for example napoleon misunderstood the master mind principle which doesn't means alliance between people but the I which can use the mind by knowing how and using that knowledge you are the master mind not some group of people...
You are wrong napoleon didn't received the secret of success from carnegie he found it himself ! its not the 13 principles that would be too easy just reading the table of content ... maybee you forget the formula, its components, "if you are ready for the secret you already possess half of it..."
YOU DON''T KNOW THE SECRET IT'S A FACT, YOU ARE NOT EVEN SEARCHING FOR IT...

If what you're saying is that Napoleon Hill took all the credit for the principles of success when in fact it was Carnegie that gave them to him. Then you are completely mistaken. If you actually go back and listen to Napoleon's speeches or seminars that he did, you can hear him saying in his own words how they came about and who he got them from. So for you to make a video bashing him like you do is completely unjustified and "dirty" on your part.

You merely gave a poorly presented history of Hill's publications, no mention of advice. This is a personal advertisement from others' work. Yes Carnegie rose high, he was a scared soul from poverty on Scotland, and his drive and upbringing hit a spot in the rising US economy, sadly he was very nefarious, making deals behind the scenes and with a tendency to ignore virtue and legality. He set the troops on his own workers I believe and it was this guilt that caught up with him in the end, hence his dedications of libraries and scholarships. Anyone may be forgiven, nevertheless it is a bit like forgiving Wall Street for robbing us all in 2008. The idea is not his to share, it is plagiarised from the Bible and other mythologies; it is real - that I doubt not, yet Hill's method and Carnegies ideals are a little creepy to say the least. His legacy was short lived too, at least in Britain where his decadently built libraries live up to an ideal of grandeur rather than poor relief - back home he is left out of the history books for this narcissism - a veritable Trump trying to spread an image rather than have an effect on poverty. Joseph Rowntree and Charles Booth were the effective ones, working tirelessly after making their fortunes on petitioning Parliament for social change which inspired a worldwide shift in attitude, which still has not taken a truly effective mode due to the flaky messages of personal gain over wealth creation. There were plenty of unsung heroes from that post industrial era in the UK, seek them out before spreading an ideal not quite fit for purpose.
Mathew: Ask and thee shall receive; aka have faith in the contract with God (understanding that god is a metaphor for the benefit of humanity and the earth, not a Zeus in the sky); for those that help shall in turn be thanked and shall not waiver in the face of adversity for they know that life is futile in it's ends and that the alleviation of suffering is the contract, personal suffering and then those around you; the meek shall inherit the earth, the meek are the strong who raise no harm against the weak; Carnegie broke that contract and was trying to save his soul, probably on the instigation of his father's memory. Most of the Scots are thrifty and nifty with their resources and the masonic links stand testimony to such, the mason's also are not given a fair light these days in their charitable works and adherence to the ideals of creating wealth and alleviation of social strife. Spreading cartels and private banking is rather dubious when unchecked, extremely effective when used for the right ends.
You will benefit more by learning the codes of myth and wisdom of the ancients; the law of attraction is first presented in the Kybalion. Hill capitalised and confused this message, Carnegie shock from fear of damnation. And you wasted my time. I am a success, I learned it in church as a boy, the parable of the three talents is much more concise than Hill's lengthy over worded and publicity driven profit mongering.
Not much more harm one could do than profiting from the Holy book, Martin Luther told you as much.
So breath deeply, be mindful, be resourceful, be helpful, be dedicated, be presentable, be sober, be on time, be trustworthy, be effective, but above all don't be greedy. Satisfaction is not material it is cerebral. Happiness is the cessation of suffering, hunger and fear are the devil's hounds and Carnegie rose to riches on their backs.

This book may have deeper layers of purpose than what seems obvious. I mean, in Hill's (attributed to him) 'Outwitting the Devil', Why is Hill apparently having a conversation with the Devil in the first place? And why should we believe anything the Devil supposedly says when the Devil is the Father of Lies?
