For fun I come back to this video to enjoy some top-notch sabre fencing. I hope there will be a big event again soon, because Swordfish will not be held this year.
Actually we're using The Kvetun Mark 3 sabres. I injured my hand during the semi final so I asked Thomas if he would be alright with using lighter sabres than the ones we had used in the pools (indeed Regenyei sabres). He agreed and we wound up using two lovely Kvetun sabres. I hope this helps :)
@@VictorHarderHesel That's very sporting of him. I'd probably take the position "If you're injured, that's your bad luck", but I'm sure I'm a much lesser man.
@@cygil1 It was very sporting of him indeed. It seemed that he very much preferred the kvetun ones too, though. The Regenyeis are lovely but they always wind up feeling so heavy at tournaments.
Unfortunately I'm not in this fight - filmed it from the stands. I've developed a bad habit of dropping out of Swordfish sabre competitions in 1/8 final - both cases are on this channel.
