This video is outstanding, but it should be updated to reflect OSHA's strong recommendation to use climbing safety helmets when using ladders. It is just as important as using the ladders correctly.

Ladder is for proper access only. Use a scaffolding platform when work at height is to be carried out. Do not confuse between the use of a ladder, and a working platform. Let the employer provide you a proper working platform specialy when you need to carry work activities at height with materials. Simply, a ladder is a part of a complete scaffolding when you are to work at height.

Ladders are unfortunately necessary. Turman is excellent at providing lifts and booms . Hazard assessment is first thing done each day and this includes dealing with general public. Excellent videos and I understand that number 1 goal is sending everyone home in one piece

This is the best-produced video about ladders I've ever seen. Legitimately looking to this for inspiration.

Most ladder involved injuries are strains and sprains caused by lifting and carrying, which can be life changing.
Most ladder involved deaths can be traced back to operator error, such as selecting the wrong ladder for the job.
One main reason for wrong ladder selection is weight, no one wants to carry the heaviest ladder for their job, but often times the correct ladder happens to be the heaviest one.
Using a ladder mover takes "weight" out of the of picture and allows us to easily use the safest ladder for the job.

Another main reason is the cost of these ladders...

    Outstanding info…
I never received training as an electrician,
but eventually obtained great training when I joined my local volunteer fire department.
This was back in the “dark ages” of job site safety, the late 1970’s and 1980’s….
Looking back, a video like this would have been an excellent tool.
    Thank you.

I agree, pretty much any fire department has very thorough training.
