Could someone recommend a laser to me. I’m looking for a laser engraver to start a new business. I looking to be engraving live edge furniture my son makes. I would like go as deep as possible when needed, 1/4 inch max. Boards are long so through way is needed. Most boards are 20 inch to 30 inch wide but would also like to do possibly go as wide as 40 inch. I also would like to make the normal tumblers and glass engraving.
I think ACMER P1 S Pro is really price friendly, bar none. It suits the majority of laser engraving oriented users, engraves very accurately and can also cut 5mm plywood
Getting tired of these AI-generated garbage videos with zero useful content. "This is the best! This is also the best! I list these in some random order while providing zero information on why exactly one is better than the other!"
@@sar2908 yes, I have a selfmade enclosure (it's less difficult than you think); the enclosure is essential without protections the laser tends to damage the eyesight. ---On acrylic: I don't use it but it's well known that diode lasers (like yours) can only cut dark and opaque acrylics; for transparent and light-colored ones, Co2 lasers are needed

The dead Internet theory rises its ugly head
Evoice is an auto thumbs down.
I have the sculpfun and it's a fantastic machine, also because it cost relatively little
Hi, do you use it with an enclosure? Also, have you tried cutting through acrylic with it?

@@common64I've not bought a machine yet. I'm just in the "Watch every video on YT" stage. Thanks for your insight.
