    Hi there
    Thanks for the videos, just some questions here:
    1- Why did you choose wall as BC for the enclosure(wall-fluid-domain)?
    2- Why did you choose pressure outlet and not outflow for outlet BC?
    3- Why did you choose hybrid initialization in this simulation?

  • @raulsanz2394
    @raulsanz2394 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    what does it means if convergence tolerance of 1e-06 is not reached during hybrid initialization? What can I change to correct this? Thanks for your videos

    • @AnsysTutor
      @AnsysTutor  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No need to worry about it. Its just a initialization process. Generally, while you put the hybrid initialization, the solver do some initial calculations to find out what would be the initial parameters at domain. Its that convergence criteria. Its different from the solution convergence residuals.

    Thanks so much for your video! It is very helpful! Would you mind to create another tutorial on how to use Fluent to apply radiation, conduction, and convection this same bridge geometry? It will be really useful if the radiation strength and angle are changing with different time of a day. Another example of showing how to map the temperature distribution to structural model will also be very helpful for lots of people. Thanks!

    I want to simulate a transient two-phase flow with VOF in porous media considering capillary action. The porous zone is initially filled with air. I want to model the displacement of air with liquid water due to capillary forces.

    What is the difference between local and global range?

    • @AnsysTutor
      @AnsysTutor  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Local range show only the min and max variation of the selected plane only. While global range is for the entire domain which is taken for analysis.
