    Respected sir, your tutorials are truly fabulous and you are doing such a great work! Actually I'm having trouble getting accurate output temp in laminar flow..It is, like an eg. I'm putting input temp as 293 K and velocity inlet and it's giving me outlet temp as 292.75458 etc every time, like I think it's not accepting other inlet parameters.. can you please tell me the actual reason behind this issue? Sir, it'll be really helpful 🙏

    • @AnsysTutor

      What about the inlet and outlet velocity?

    • @prerakshah4360
      @prerakshah4360 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I also put inlet velocity as 2 m/s and wall temperature as 313 K.. even I increase the inlet velocity to any value, I always get outlet temperature by facet avg/avg weighted just around the inlet temp or sometimes around the wall temperature!

    Great tutorial as always.
    I did exactly as you did and everything seemed to be ok until solver setup. I do exactly as you do, but sometimes the program goes mad: after calculations the solution cell doesn´t get up to date, instead, it gets refresh required. And sometimes that doesn´t allow CFD post to work properly. Besides my temperature distribution is different to what you got here, like 4 degrees beneath your average value. If you have any clue why this happens would be very helpful. My version is 18.2 btw.

    • @AnsysTutor

      @@AnsysTutor not during calculation, just the typical "can't handle Fluent message" after it sometimes. Another thing is that my solution gets converged at 201 iterations, not 206. Maybe there are some initial parameters that differ from what you have at your version that I haven't noticed.

    • @AnsysTutor
      @AnsysTutor  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would suggest you to first note down all the steps and required BC inputs, reset the current setup ,then proceed to the new setup process.

    • @AnsysTutor
      @AnsysTutor  20 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      You need to create a new plane (in cfd post) at the desired location, then you can obtain the temperature distribution contour at that transverse plane.
