    This is awesome. Now do one for the Subaru community and platform, there's loads of us pouring money into blowing head gaskets whilst seeking power 🤣
    As a huge chunk of the community do bolt on mods, there's loads who would choose this over another and another engine. Would become an insta trend faster than the more niche Porsche crowd. Bet you'd be all over the US market.
    But I've never blown a subbie motor because I get them mapped properly 😇

    • @extectic
      @extectic 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Doing these for desirable and high price classic cars is possible because the cost of these kits can be stomached by people who can afford to buy such cars. The Subaru community is probably not a many millionaires willing to blow tens of thousands on battery power.

    • @oneman29
      @oneman29 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@extectic I totally get your viewpoint. I imagine when the tech is a bit more mature and cheaper it will more accessible and therefore viable.
      But tbh middle class enthusiasts do spend tens of thousands on chasing speed and laptimes. The drag racing scene in the states has loads of home built electric conversions. It's a huge space I think that someone will eventually capture. Cheap Chinese kits might be available everywhere in 2 years time 🤣
      I've seen the cool truck and car conversion kits available on AliExpress, Rawsuns and the like. The Chinese are well industrious.

    Regarding the onbord AC charger: Are there two-phase (2-phase, 16A, 7.2 kW like in e-Golf) or three-phase options (3 phase, 16A, 11 kW, like in id.3 or Kona EV) for three phase markets like Germany? Otherwise, the 1 phase 28.5A charger (6.6 kW) would be limited to 1 phase, 16A (3.7kW) in most places with 11kW (3p, 16A). In 3p, 32A (22 kW) sockets it may be restricted to (1p, 20A, 4.6 kW) due to restrictions on unbalanced load, such as in Germany.

    Very professional, really well done. Would be good to see how modular these items are for other car installations.

    What vacuum Pump for the braking are you using ? the ones I've seen sound really loud

      We sell them on our web site as a kit, all pumps are loud but it’s about having a vac tank with sensor so does not run all the time

    Great to see these e-conversion kits. If I loved Porsches, I'd definitely consider the conversions.

    How about a kit for a 356C? I’m looking at a beautiful 356 right now and would like to convert it.

    Will you be selling individual components, e.g. the gear selector unit? I'd be keen to adapt it for my 356 EV project.

    I know you said it fits both LHD & RHD versions of the Porsche 964 🚙👍🏻
    But, will this kit fit both C2 & C4 versions of the Porsche 964 🤔

      It fits the c2 but fir a c4 you will need to fit the c2 braking set up

    Make a kit for the water-cooled ones.
    Not many people want to replace the glorious porsche engine on that era car.
    Better yet, replace british roaster powerplants. they actually need it.

      I have to second this. The purchase price of a 964 is out of reach for most people and if you can afford one, you would be loathe to modify it (even if reversible). But this would be a great kit for all those 996 and 997.1 cars with blown engines due to bore scoring or IMS bearing failures. And you can pick those cars up for relatively cheap. Might also be great for 944s - those cars are relatively cheap, look great, handle great, but have old and tired engines - perfect for an EV swap.

    OMG! This is amazing!
    Thought about something similar for the 944/951?
