The BFRs look great. The burled maple tops look great and it’s cool to see MM doing reverse bursts with the blue-green BFR option. The black sparkle also looks quite nice, though I think it might look cooler with gold hardware.
I bought a 7-string Purple Nebula in 2019 and man, it is just a dream (pun very much intended) to play. When I called Sweetwater to order it, the guy pulled it up on his computer and said, "Wow, that is one beautiful guitar!" And it is indeed; I don't think I've ever seen a more gorgeous piece of wood in my life.
@@BFHPET If you get the chance, jump on it. They don't make a ton of these, so your window of opportunity is pretty limited. I was very fortunate that I was able to snag one of the 50 of the purple nebula 7-strings later in 2020, when I believe it actually released in May of that year.
@@BFHPET I'm sure there's a varying demand for each finish, so some likely go faster than others. Pretty sure the only purple nebulas you can find these days would be second-hand. There might be one or two brand new floating around out there, but I would be pretty surprised if that were the case.
@@hungryguitarstudent There's countless other Majesty models with okoume bodies though. Not very many basswood options, I'm personally not a giant fan of mahogany so I'm very appreciative of having a couple more basswood options.

JP' has been using basswood since forever. Its a nice and light wood, not much figuring though, but that don't really matter on a solid finish.
