Why do we use 4-20mA signal instead of 0-20mA current signal? in instrumentation

    Please can you explain how to measure 4 to 20 ma in a electronic system by using a multimeter?

      We can measure 4 to 20 mA by connecting multimter in series with circuit. Or we can say just open one of wire and connect it with multimeter and complete its circuit by multimter wires in series with curcuit with mA measuring selection.

    Another reason is that 30mA is deadliest for body...20mA is safe for Body ....so max rating is 4-20
