Looks great. If you fold the shirt in half, lengthways...heat press it (you'll get a crease line) and then fold your decal in half (lining up both edges of the 'design' and crease it)...it create a crease on the design and match them both up - the crease on the design along with the crease on the shirt and you'll get your centre positioning. Just be sure you don't use the edges of the carrier sheet as your gauge for finding the centre, as they won't be even - it's the edges of the design that you need to line up when folding x
thanks for the video bro explained everything real well broski. gonna buy my first of some siser easy weed htv rn, and this video came in super clutch. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
When you are putting the second design on the front side, are you putting the original side straight on the bottom side of the plate? Are you putting any paper between the insides of the shirt? Just wondering if you’re having a problem with the first side vinyl melting on the second pressing? Hope that’s not confusing
so when I do the front, I just flip the shirt over. No need to tuck or anything (unless your press allows you to do so). So far no issues from the heat passing through. You will definitely need a teflon sheet/cover sheet to protect your shirt but mostly the HTV bc the direct heat can warp the clear plastic. But yeah no problems of the HTV melting on the back. Just make sure you're not pressing for too long !! 10 second is what I usually do and you know it's a good press if you can see the shirt texture on the HTV.
A lot of my HTV are still on. The only thing I notice is the slight discoloration (Probably from washing with other dark fabrics) and slight wrinkling on the design after wash (usually if dried properly it won't wrinkle). Other than that It's a great way to start getting creative! Gonna be trying plastisol next so keep a look out on that :D
Thank you so much. I'm doing my first shirt and it's nerve wracking
Awesome! how did it come out?
great job for the first time especially. what material(s) is the shirt made of, i.e 100% cotton...?
The shirt is 100% cotton and should be 5oz weight. next level 1800 (discontinued)

Glad to hear, wondering how everything is going with the HTV for you?

Love to see it!! If you have questions I am always available to help
Whats the settings u are using on the silhouette Cameo
How’s it holding up?
Really well, the easyweed vinyl is actually really thick and I just tried the siser stretch htv. Will probably make a video about them soon!
@@joeltnguyen Please make an update video and a video on the stretch!!!
Thank you for this Vid Joel
How do you import your illustrator or photoshop file into Silhouette cameo?
You need to export your Illustrator file as a .DXF file. I don't think photoshop can be read through silhouette cameo!
UPDATE: Siser easyweed you don't really need to use the heat. It's "easyweed" for a reason hehe

Sup dude, really digging the brand and the information! Do you make all your work in illustrator only or other programs? And are you based in Cali?
Thank you! I appreciate that.
Yeah, so I primarily use Illustrator to design and photoshop to mockup. And yes I am based in OC!
bro is vinyl good for 100%% cotton? does it stick well? how is it after a few washes? thanks!
