So helpful, I am now to scared to go without a mat. I had one too many sheets of vinyl ruined by going with out a mat. It started fine then right in the middle of cutting the sheet slide side ways and sliced and diced my vinyl.

Love your videos.. You are always my “go to” when I have questions.. May I ask how you was able to do the blue trim outline on the design on your shirt?
Hey there! Lisa no longer works for the company, so I can ask her for sure, but it looks like she probably used CorelDRAW and the Design Wizard to do a Magic Boundary around her text! - TRW Haley
Thank you so much. Had to find a refresher for myself as it's been I while since I've done this but getting back in the game of things, oh and I believe it's pronounced as in SiZER weed, but hey we all know Tomato !
It's pronounced Caesar, but I still say Sizer because it just looks right that way to my brain LOL!!! Hope to see you at the Monday live!! -TRW Crystal
Thank you for this very informative video. I had the mirror part correct, but wasn't sure where to put my easy weed on the machine if I wasn't using a mat. ~ Bonnie
My test cut came out perfect with your suggested settings! YAY But then when I cut my design it only cut the "weed box" but my design didn't actually cut through. What would you suggest to change about the settings?
Sounds like your settings are good! The problem seems to be on the design, make sure it is wheeled together, you could even smart fill it and make sure you have it grouped together. You can also check your wireframe to make sure that it is cut ready. -TRW Mireya
I am using the cameo 4 what is you blade depth set at for siser easy weed. Mines is set on 5 this is my first cut watching your video it is very helpful.
We recommend cutting Siser Easyweed with your blade depth at a 3. If you would like a guide to all our recommended cut settings for our material you can check that out here: www.therhinestoneworld.com/cut-settings Hope this helps, and thanks for watching! -TRW Bobbi
We recommend using a protective cover sheet! We sell them on our website here: www.therhinestoneworld.com/Protective-Cover-Sheet-18x20_p_1205.html -TRW Bri
You've probably figured yours out, but I'll still comment in case it helps anyone not make the same mistake I made. I'm a newbie, and I used some orange HTV (not Siser EasyWeed). When I looked at it, I didn't really pay attention to which side was shinier but instead saw that one side looked orange and the other side looked white. So I thought the white must be the backing and the orange side is where you cut. Well, after cutting and starting to try to figure out the weeding, I couldn't get my weeding tool through the orange side and realized that was the shiny side with the carrier and I was supposed to have been cutting on the white side, which was duller. Luckily it hadn't cut through the vinyl at all, and though the carrier was cut up a little, it still held together well enough that I was able to flip it over and cut the other side and make everything work. Turns out I guess just like (if you know anything about screen printing with fabric ink) you would put a layer of white ink down when screen printing before putting another color down to make the color pop on dark fabric, well the orange must have had a layer of white on the "back" of it (or the side that melts onto the fabric) to make the orange pop after ironing on, so the orange that would eventually be facing up was face down on the shiny carrier paper. So all of that long story was to say if you're using color and one side is white, you might need to cut and weed on the white side so that when you go to iron it down the color side will be up (and therefore the color might be the shiny side that you put down when loading into the machine, white dull side up).

@@TheRhinestoneWorld Thank you so much, it is cutting properly but the only issue I'm having now is with the mat. I have to make it less sticky then I should be good to go. :)

I’ve learned how to cut siser Easyweed on a Graphtech machine. I’m thinking of making a video.👍🏼
Eddie Duque, That's awesome! Let's do it!

How do u make ur video where ur main screen is the computer but u have a lil screen with u on the side ?
Awesome video - thank you so much - should've watched it BEFORE I cut on the wrong side :)
hello. so, we leave the cut work on the carrier, and press it? then remove the carrier when cooled? Tnx
Yep, you got it! Think of the carrier sheet like transfer tape. 😁

QUESTION: do you heat press the clear side directly or do you need wax paper????

If you don't have letters Do you still need to mirror it?
Yes an image/design should be mirrored unless your going for that look. Let me know if you have more questions.

Hello. My htv doesn't become transparent after i weed it. All that happens is that the white backing comes off and leaves the black shiny part uncut.
