Alan, why do you say "I'm a brown skin mtb'er" ???? For me I don't care what color skin is but your personality and your content. Anyway great riding! I just got a Focus Sam 2 6.9 about 6 weeks ago & loving it 👌
I know there are BIPOC people who might be encouraged to try this sport when the see someone who looks like me doing it. But I specifically call out my skin color because I know that many BIPOC people feel a subtle sense of shame around being dark skinned. Or at least reluctance to enter into a predominantly "white" sport. And I am saying to those people, "it's OK." And FWIW, my personality has been partly shaped by me being dark skinned. I have overcome a lot of racism and have spent decades dealing with the effects of that.
@@mtb_alan That was a great explanation of why you say that. I wondered myself at first but I assumed exactly what you were saying was why. As a BIPOC myself I know what you're talking about. And it's great to see more BIPOC having a rad too mountain biking! 👍🏾 👍🏾
Regardless of the conditions, San Clemente trails are all fun. My current favorite is Car Crash. What's your favorite San Clemente trail?
Good shit man, looked like a fun ride
Thanks! 🤘🏾
I live in North County San Diego and still haven’t ridden San Clemente. This video is pushing me to get out there! Enjoy your content.
Thanks!
Go. It’s worth it. I live in the IE and drive an hour and a half to ride there.
You left out handsome hunk in your description! 😂 awesome video thanks brochaco.
Ha! I guess I should have included that. 😂 "Short, dark, and handsome."
@ you're too modest haha
@@jaydub308 😆
@@jaydub308 you've got me considering making that part of the intro. 🤔
@ hell yeah you know what to do
That was a super rad day !! First hero dirt in months and we got to ride with U and Jake ❤❤❤. Thank u for the tow in on that 3rd jump ❤❤❤
Heck yeah! The dirt was prime! Stoked to tow you in. Was that the first time you hit it?
@@mtb_alanit was the first time in over a year ❤
Nice!
What was the trail you started on? I recognized dog park but never seen the first trail
Car Crash. Probably my favorite trail there.
My mind can't compute the fact you don't wear gloves. My hands are a sweaty mess.
Ha! The ODI Longnecks lock-on grips help.
ebikes are for old people. why are you riding one?
Watch the video again. There are clues.
I inherited a downhill bike buddy if I get up the nerve I will see you in the park next season!
That's awesome! I'll see you out there.
FWIW, an Enduro is plenty of bike for Snow Summit.

@@mtb_alan ah ok that makes sense. But I'm not across these BIPOC & FWIW acronyms excuse my ignorance?
@DMMTB little bit of Googling should sort you out.
