  • @BnaBreaker
    @BnaBreaker ปีที่แล้ว +8

    Apologies for the double comment, but now that I've had a chance to watch the full video I just wanted to come back and give a more detailed response. Prior to this video I must say that I had more or less written off the Richat Structure in my mind as a potential location for Atlantis, due to it being a natural structure. However, I had never considered what you proposed, which is that a group of nomads in that region stumbled upon it, and took advantage of the protection it offered, which opened an opportunity up to them to advance their understanding of the world much faster than their peer groups around the world due to not having to worry about predators, and using the structure as inspiration for their new home once it was time to move on. So the Richat Structure was NOT Atlantis, but it did INSPIRE Atlantis. This all makes perfect sense. It really does. It answers all the primary questions. WHO the people were that initially populated the island, WHERE they came from, WHY they wound up going there in the first place, WHEN the migrated, and HOW they became more advanced than their peers. I was trying to find holes in your theory, but I simply cannot, other than that I'm not sure I buy that Bimini ever factored into things, but that's secondary. In anycase, thanks again for putting in the work and advancing all our collective knowledge!

    • @Apocalypse_Tube
      @Apocalypse_Tube  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Perhaps you're right about Bimini, this timeline is just a speculative model for now, I'm open to changing it as new evidence arises. At this point I want to explore the underwater site in the Azores before I revisit the timeline, I'm either right and more time needs to be spent trying to understand the true timeline, or I'm wrong - the site could just be an interesting geological anomaly and the whole timeline gets scrapped. Thanks for watching and taking the time to put together such a great comment. Cheers.

    I have been doing a lot of the investigation that you have clearly done on my own. It’s been a joy to follow along these videos. I think you really have put in a great deal of focused, empiric work and are potentially onto something big here. As compelling as this proposed timeline is, however, I’m afraid it will remain simply interesting until irrefutable evidence is found. Irrefutable evidence won’t be found unless it is searched for. That is the hurdle - getting enough resources, interest, funding, and coordination to actualize an undersea exploration of the Azores plateau. I only wish I knew how to make that happen.

    37:00 your suspicion that solar activity is linked to these phenomena is spot-on, imo.
    It is derided by the 'mainstream' physics community but as an engineer myself, the "Electric Universe" model proposed by electrical/plasma engineers over on the Thunderbolts channel makes much more practical sense to me than the gravity-only model of mainstream cosmology. It is something you might want to check out.
    Not just solar flairs but also comets and rogue planets (Venus is thought to be one even by academia) which are at a different electrical potential to the earth (because they originate from outside our helioshere)
    would discharge MASSIVE arcs, plasma-machining the surface, as it achieves electrical equilibrium with our local electrical environment.
    As such...it has always stuck me how mountain chains and the streams coming off them look like lightening bolts with fine streamers fanning from the main arc.
    Water cuts through the weakest rock...so were minerals arranged along electrical discharge paths so that they will be the most erodeable paths for runoff water to cut permanent channels into?
    Deeply appreciate your channel.

    I've been on the creation path for some time now, I can concur that all myths have the same common thread of creation. I believe the hunter gatherers were the survivors of the first flood 12,000 BCE. These were the story bearers so who knows how convoluted the story has become. You have spent a huge amount of time and energy on this presentation. Well done and thanks for the upload. ENKI ENLIL = Yahweh Yeshua = SETH HORUS etc, all with the winged disc AN or RA. The tree of life comes up in every culture, and the pillars of djed basalt 8 sided pillars like the giants causeway in Ireland have a huge bearing on the design of Atlantis Hy Brasil etc.

    • @Apocalypse_Tube
      @Apocalypse_Tube  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Very kind of you, but it's difficult to get anyone's attention if you're trying to come up with plausible explanations. A lot of people are interested in the idea of an ancient civilisation that was technologically superior to our own, I'm just not seeing that, I think this was all done by hunter gatherers, or possibly a very early agricultural society. It's gotten to the point where the whole "Atlantis" subject now has it's own sci-fi lore developed by self proclaimed psychics, unless you link Atlantis to Aliens or a lost spacefaring human civilisation, most people aren't interested. To me, I think it's more impressive if the world was explored and mapped by a group of people from the Palaeolithic/Neolithic.
      What I'm doing is well within the realms of speculation, but I think I've developed something worthy of further investigation. It's a shame that serious researchers such as the Heath brothers or Howard Crowhurst aren't getting the recognition that they deserve, after many, many years of research. I knew full well when I started this channel that it wouldn't be hugely popular, I'm surprised that I've got this many subscribers to be honest. @Apocalypse I don't know why, but I always imagined the Atlanteans as having technology roughly equivalent to the Greeks or Romans, maybe even the early 18th or 19th centuries, while living in an age of hunter gatherers. Big ships, advanced navigation, and a society built on trade, with maybe the very early beginnings of what we would consider "modern" technology, like gears, primitive batteries, steam locomotion, or even toying with electricity and lightbulbs...but no nukes or magic crystals lol...and they weren't the only civilization, simply the most advanced and wide-reaching, and they were just utterly destroyed by a worldwide cataclysm, which if the research is correct, was caused by a comet impact. Maybe their astronomers could see the comet coming and knew what would happened, and tried to save their culture somehow.

    Thoughts on Gunung Padang and where it might fit into the timeline?

    • @Apocalypse_Tube
      @Apocalypse_Tube  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's south of the Equator, so it's not possible to fit Gunung Padang into my Northern Hemisphere observatory network.
      It's latitude is interesting at 7° south of the Equator. The Northern Hemisphere observatories are separated by latitudes that are 1/7 of the distance from the Equator to the North Pole. 1/7 of 90° means that these latitudinal intervals sit 12.85714° north or south from each other. 90° / 7° gives us the opposite relationship, Gunung Padang sits 1/12.85714 south of the Equator.
      Perhaps Gunung Padang serves a similar purpose to the observatories in the Northern Hemisphere. This doesn't mean that it was built by the same people, it could be that a different group of people at a different time had a similar grasp of geometry and were trying to perform the same task of measuring the size of the planet. It also could just be a coincidence.
      I have no idea how old Gunung Padang is, I would like to see Danny Hilman Natawidjaja publish his findings in a peer reviewed paper.

It is interesting that they also used basalt columns, but I suppose it would be the perfect building material for any early people once they started dabbling in stone structures. I like your idea of the richat structure being abandoned due to climate change. I thought its destruction could be tied the the YD impact theory, but it sounds like it was earlier. I think it makes sense that they would have left If the conditions became unsuitable. Fantastic video and theory. Thanks amigo!

    38:00 the serpent has also been proposed as electricity - as an arc "snaking" through a medium. The comet you mentioned could have discharged arcs to the surface of the earth during a very near miss rather than smashing into the earth...thus the dragon or snake motif indicateds a comet but indirectly associated with a the arcs arising from a comet's near miss.

    Great info, I really enjoyed your video but I think you could’ve elaborated on the possible diffusion of culture from that island. It’s possible when acknowledging how most temples and other monolithic sites were built upon even older sites that use bigger stones and are made using considerably more advanced construction methods due to the precision of the design, such as at machu pichu, baalbek temple, the barabar caves and other similar places around the world. I think it might be possible that all those people from “Atlantis” or whatever the island could’ve been called might have advanced considerably due to the time and ideal conditions they had to do so and maybe predominantly in their construction methods, metallurgy, stone masonry, and without a doubt the ability to farm and collect livestock. It’s interesting to consider the azores are known for their cows and cheese production..

      Interesting, what is most compelling to me in regards to Atlantis is essentially the power of the gulf stream, it is why the weather in the UK is so damn consistent because we are fed with the sweet warming waters of the gulf stream that helps regulate the climate. This is exactly what the Azores would have benefitted from throughout the ice age, it would have been the most optimally inhabitable place possibly on the planet due to this particular benefit.

    About 100 thousand years the great flood happened. The ancient ancients went back to primitive, survived in caves, wrote on walls, eventually to go full circle once again, Atlantis, ancient Egypt, ancient Athens. They fall. We are probably 90 thousand years til the next event. We essentially become so technologically advanced and eventually it’s like the world strikes back.

    • @Apocalypse_Tube
      @Apocalypse_Tube  ปีที่แล้ว

      I have, he puts out some great content and goes out into the field a heck of a lot. I will explain my opinions on ancient machining in a later video at some point.
      I'm afraid I don't agree with Ben though. My background is in engineering and I can see a number of relatively simple ways to accomplish what has been attributed to ancient machining. I do believe that various wooden forms and jigs were used to align and guide ancient hand tools to achieve some quite impressive workmanship (I have drawings and CAD renders of my ideas ready to make a future video). I often see Ben getting surface roughness mixed up with flatness, these are two completely different properties. I'm also not sure he understands the limitations of non-contact measuring equipment; when using this kind of equipment you often have to factor in ADC error amongst other variables. I've spoken with people who work in metrology who have taken issue with some of his claims. If you're wondering how large rocks can be moved with relative ease, look into the work of Wally Wallington, a retired construction worker who can move gigantic stone structures by himself with no machinery required, just a lifetime of practical experience, it's easy to see how Wally's techniques could be scaled up to move larger structures using more people or even animal power.
      I'm really not trying to rail on Ben, I still watch his channel and enjoy his videos, I think his understanding of metrology is getting better, but I would say he has too much focus on ancient machining, there are definitely other solutions that might require a little more hard work that end up with the same result. It's my opinion that we may have severely underestimated what our ancestors could do without the luxuries of our modern technology, even so far back as our hunter gatherer ancestors. I think a lot of skills and trades have been lost over the millennia, even in recent times with the modern industrial phenomenon of having a job as opposed to a skill or trade.

    • @Dan_Tactics

      @@Apocalypse_Tube but what about holes being drilled into different granite materials in Egypt? Just saw a video on it last night, where the gentleman described that the different stone has a hardness of 8 on the moh scale, and that only within the past 100ish years we've been able to utilize the power of diamonds to make cutting and drilling these hard materials possible.
      Anyways, great video series you have. I also wonder, your proposed site of Atlantis, is it in international waters? Is it difficult to be able to even reach the site with basic scuba diving? Or is it a lot farther down?
      It sounds like if you can get Elon Musk's attention, maybe you can convince him that it's worth investigating further. He was, after all, interested in Egypt recently.
      I'm also willing to bet that the pillars in Egypt that depict atlantis (that you mentioned in one video) are either in the Labyrinth, or sealed away below the Sphinx (see info on the original Sphinx's shape and name being Hemit... references to library/ archive). Have you seen the video on where they have found the Labyrinth back in 2008, and kept it hush-hush until just recently? I wonder if that ties in with any of the 7 latitude lines... Plato also visited the Labyrinth, if I'm not mistaken.
      I know I'm off on a tangent and pretty vague, but Egypt and Atlantis are 2 major pieces of the same puzzle, and it seems like the Egyptian authorities/ Egyptologists know a lot more than they let on, as they have controlled the narrative for the sake of tourism and dismissed all scientific evidence and research they do not like to hear that questions their timeline of the pyramids and their construction.

    The evidence pointing to a possible Atlantic civilization is very convincing, but I disagree with your proposed timeline. I don't think the the Atlantians came out of southern Africa.
    1. With the proliferation of sub-saharan peoples throughout the Atlantic coasts wouldn't there be genetic remnants of resistances to certain diseases like malaria?
    2. I recently watched Carlson's Halloween video essay and he mentions how Halliburton found cultural similarities of diverse peoples from all over the world that have similar observances of the taurid meteor stream. From Europeans, to Japanese, to Australian natives, to Peruvians. No mention of African peoples though.
    3. Carlson hypothesizes that what we call the gulf stream went around the Azores plateau, going south on the east side. Wouldn't this impede the travel of people going northwest from Africa?
    Just some thoughts. Thank you for putting this info out there.

      Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to put together your comment.
      I think it's unlikely that I'm correct about everything in my timeline, I'm more confident about the timing and placement of Atlantis and the observatories than I am about the origins of these people. With regards to your three points:
      1. If there weren't many Atlantean survivors, perhaps any genetic resistance to malaria gets watered down over time by breeding with people who have no resistance. If there were a significant number of Atlantean survivors, how many generations before genetic resistance is lost? If the survivors settled in regions free of Malaria, then these genes might not be selected for by potential mates, sickle cell disease for example, might make it tough to survive and pass on your genes, and there's always natural genetic mutation. However, it's a good point and worthy of further exploration.
      2. I haven't done enough research about ancient African mythology, it's something I'm working on and there are certainly a number of flood myths that parallel those that are found outside of Africa. If the Taurids played some role in the destruction of Atlantis it would certainly make sense to weave them into your traditions, but if the Atlantean survivors decided not to settle in sub-Saharan Africa after the island sank, then there would be no trace of these traditions found in sub-Saharan Africa today. It doesn't mean that they weren't from sub-Saharan Africa originally.
      3. This is a good point, it really depends upon the type of sails these people were using. My stance is that the early exploration of the Atlantic was performed by hunter gatherers (maybe with some early animal husbandry), using fairly primitive vessels, I'm thinking along the lines of large hollowed out logs with outriggers, possibly sealed with tree resin mixed with charcoal for extra protection from the water. These primitive vessels wouldn't have been able to accommodate the sort of sails that you would find on modern European vessels. They would more likely be equipped with the kind of sails that you would find on a Junk Rig. These junk sails don't allow for the same kind of speeds or efficiencies that can be obtained from modern European sails, but they're easier to operate, require less man power and more importantly allow you to sail into the wind with relative ease. If these early seafarers had junk sails or something similar, they wouldn't have been at the mercy of ocean currents (ocean currents would certainly allow for faster travel once they were mapped out). To me, the logical way to explore the ocean without the aid of modern navigational equipment is to choose a fixed latitude and stick with it until you've found something.
      I'm still 50/50 on whether or not these people originated in sub-Saharan Africa, maybe they came down to the Richat through the Middle-East? Maybe it was the meeting of two different cultures? If people from Europe / the Middle-East met up with people from sub-Saharan Africa, they may have combined their astronomical knowledge and came up with some significant epiphanies. The Atlanteans could have originated from anywhere, I'm just speculating based on the information that we have so far (Mousterian Pluvial / Dates for Sea Level / Dates for observatory placement etc...), but this is all subject to change as new information comes to light.
      Thanks for taking the time to comment.

    My first question is to your assumption that the clovis first 'ice-free corridor' is true, there is plenty of genetic and other evidence that suggests it is an antiquated and misleading theory, what is it that you find compelling that you mention it across you videos?
    Secondly why must the Richat structure be included in this theory? I see why you want it included because it sort of justifies the link to Atlantis and the concentric rings, however you're saying they did lots of fishing and then started navigating out to find new lands, well how do you propose that development if they chose to live 500km away from the shoreline today - I can only imagine the distance circa 20-10k bp. Ultimately it only stands to detract from the overall theory since there is as far as I know not a single piece of physical evidence it was ever inhabited.
    Please take this as the considered critical thought you apply to all your videos, after all, these conversations should be brought together argued and justified. It is a fantastic series, unfortunately due to the nature of commenting I am choosing to bring up the things I disagree on, there is a lot I have learned and that I do agree with you on most points.

    • @Apocalypse_Tube
      @Apocalypse_Tube  ปีที่แล้ว

      Wow, thanks for binge watching my entire Atlantis series so quickly AND taking the time to comment!
      With regards to your questions:
      • I totally agree that there is growing evidence for different waves of peoples entering the Americas prior to the Clovis cultures. The point is that the creation story has to be AT LEAST as old as the LAST pre-historic people to enter the Americas. It's possible that the story is older and arrived with earlier populations. I probably needed to make this clearer in my video.
      • I've always been very skeptical about the Richat / Atlantis link... that was until I found a geometric, geodetic and astronomical link between the Richat, Avebury and my site in the Azores. After reading the works of Howard Crowhurst and Richard Heath, I became aware that there was a drive to build ancient sites of extreme significance at latitudinal intervals of sevenths from the equator (Averbury is located at 4/7 North, "Atlantis" is located at 3/7 North). Both Crowhurst and Heath have noted that there are ancient sites in places like the UK (amongst others) that are spread out over vast distances, linked by right-angle triangles with at least one cardinal vector, with this in mind I drew the only right-angle triangle possible that has the Azores "Atlantis" as the origin, Avebury as a known vertex AND a true-east vector of 90.00° emanating from the origin. This triangle can be reflected about the true-east vector to give us the location of the Richat Structure. Initially I thought this might just be some geometric coincidence, but it turns out that there are practical geodetic and astronomical reasons for placing "Atlantis" and Avebury where they are in relation to the Richat. I haven't explained this any of my videos, but there is a whole chapter relating to this in my upcoming book.
      I definitely need to do a better job of explaining things a little more clearly. Also, I sometimes omit some of the more technical information to keep the video flowing, it's difficult to find a good balance when trying to present findings and maintain audience attention / retention. That's one of the reasons why I'm writing a book, I want to present some of the more technical / mathematical information in a more conducive medium.
      Thanks for taking the time to comment, I welcome valid criticism / feedback (especially when great thought and time has been put into it), there are certainly areas where I need to up my game.
