I would just like to say your original series on the diadochi wars got me through 1 really long day at work and the remaster is even better than the original. So thank you as always K&G for being the best history youtube channel ever.

The Rhodians were badass. I forget which one but their last fight as an autonomous polity was against either Brutus or Cassius, and it was pretty impressive seeing as they were a shadow of their former strength and yet still able to muster resistance against the Romans.

They probably named him a besieger of cities because he just besieged them. If he would have captured them he would have been named the capturer of cities. It wasn't worth it because he lost allot of troops. It would have been a victory but with major losses. Thats why he accepted the terms.
