I'm referring to Google ‘shadow work prompts’. To truly love ourselves, we must prioritize our needs-our feelings, likes, dislikes, boundaries, and emotions-the list goes on. Once you grasp this concept, you will move forward with confidence in your self-image, your artwork, and your relationships with friends and potential partners. When you have mastered that, your inner world will become untouchable. I recommend the book “Attached” if you haven't read it yet. It's crucial to understand your attachment style, as this awareness can clarify the endless arguments you may have had with the ex. This understanding is an important part of your healing process. Everything that happens matters to your subconscious mind, which may feel oppressed. Shifting these feelings towards happiness and light is essential for welcoming a new chapter in your life.

@ thanks for the perspective! I have googled shadow work prompts but I’m wondering why prioritizing our feelings would lead to insecurity? For attachment type, I have studied that since sth going wrong with my marriage. I was a bit of an avoidant attachment then and have grown to secure personality. I would say the growth is rooted in my self awareness which is one of the reasons why I share my experience and feelings here. I hope my insight could help ppl in similar situations.
@@luciethemagician I wish you all the best. Looking back, it will be only a little phase of our life and we are actually much stronger than we thought. Merry Christmas!🎄🎄
I have always been harsh on myself to a point where I am not familiar with kind words to myself. And when I would try, I would cringe. And I realize that I would seek validation from others so much that it hurts them too due to my negativity. But I have been wanting to change that. This video clicked something in me. I'm not as bad as I think. Thank you for providing this perspective. I nearly cried. Lately I graduated university and went through heartbreak. I feel so lost, but it its comforting hearing someone older with this advice. I hope someone told you I'm proud of you today. I wish you a happy life!
@@connieh2548oh dear, let me hug you. We are the same type of people being too harsh on our selves. I felt the same when I first thought what if I am not me but my daughter? I felt a lot of grievances and nearly a sense of being wronged for a long time. I felt being seen by myself. This will past, no matter how lost you feel at the moment it will past. When you realize you’ve been harsh on yourself that means you have seen yourself now. Everything will turn better and better from this point. I wish you find peace soon and I know you will.

@@LuvOfLalaland yes when we get aware of our inner self( which is usually oppressed) even from a tiny gap, we might realize it’s shadow work we need.
