2:28 Also Clark can have his powers back anytime he wants cause he's wearing his dad's watch that has Blue Kryptonite infused into it so all he has to do is remove it.
"Where I come from that would be ridiculous he can't see past his glasses" Lex Luthor, mastermind evil genius and yet still unable to see who Superman is or read it on that book of destiny
in this scene not only is Clark still superior in strength to Luthor but also in mental capacity. it takes a lot to give up so much to gain something you hold dear more. I guess in that way Clark is superior to Luthor, because Luthor just can't get over his own ego.
I also loved watching Tom welling being superman in smallville. Technically it was like a huge disappointment to end the season with him putting on the superman suit only on the last episode. Smallville was tom welling was more clark kent that has superman powers but not being actual superman. I read in the spoilers that tom welling hated wearing costumes. Tyler Hoechlin is superman.
Tom Welling was just Clark Kent and then CGI very last minute. He would never have accepted the role if there were conditions he had to don the suit during the show’s run. We would be saying now, “ Who is Tom Welling?” And Tom would be saying he had no luck in Hollywood.
This really made no sense cause in a season 5 episode of Smallville, he was shot & died. He came back to life after Jor-El returned his powers. Clark told Jonathan & Martha “it was the only way I could come back.” With that being said, wouldn’t he drop dead again if he gave up his powers?
D Carlisle I wish it would’ve explained more, but yeah; he used Lionel as a vessel in that episode, but there was always another way to remove his powers without the help of Jor-El. Golden Kryptonite was probably used, even so, his watch, the one Jonathan gave him, kinda looked blue. Maybe it was modified with blue kryptonite? Look at the inside of the watch.
Maybe it meant that when he got back his powers, his regenerative process kicked in and healed his damage. Once healed, he could give up the powers if he so desired
@@xghost03x4 I think is blue kyptonite cause before all of this they got rid of all the gold kyptonite before the end of the series including the ring that was made from it in the first place. So if they another crossover like this they would have being him (CLARK AKA TOM) back take off the blue k watch to be superman again for good. But as a guess star and a good reason behind it like he had to save his other selves and others or something bigger that has something to do with his story, ect. Come on him as clark kent/superman erica as lois lane shawn as jimmy Olsen Michael as lex luthor Sam as Pete. Come people we need special crossover not just a small clip of smallville and arrowvese
Superman giving up his powers for just being Human (mortal?) is the coolest thing so he could just be the way as he is and not the way he was supposed/everybody expected him to be. To live a normal life (anonymous, private) as a human Clark Kent and not as Kal-El is the most sane, rational thing to do, so why assume a persona from a planet that is already long gone (Krypton). I mean, he just moved on, as everybody does, not to be stuck in the past (nostalgia) that would not really help at all. That's the power of love. 💟
I heard a theory that there's blue Kryptonite in his watch and that's why he doesn't have his powers anymore. If that's true then only needs to do is take it off.
@@xghost03x4 he best hope he don't or anyone else it's how I write n no one get it unless they do. ur videos cool n i just hope they don't bring any problems
Heart. The actors did a bang up job of portraying a life of a young Clark Kent choosing to hide his identity in fear of being ostracized or lose those he love. The angst of having powers of a "super" man and yet not being able to show his friends. Wanting to live life as a "normal" teenager but also bogged down by the fact that his arrival on Earth also hurt so many around him. It was good writing.
Even when watchmojo compared jesse eisenberg's lex to lenny luthor, they correct themselves since they even believe lenny luthor's actor portrayed lex better than eisenberg. Also, cryer does the role justice and makes me forget his past roles.

But most importantly I ask again did they ever even bother to read a plot synopsis for the series of smallville?
It might. They are toying with a Smallville continuation animated series. Written by Gough and Millar. So far, Rosenbaum, Welling, Kreuk, Jones III and Glover are all coming back for it. They even strongly considered having Welling appear in the Arrowverse again at some point. Maybe be like what we saw Hoechlin become where he has to continue as Superman, but discovers a way to keep it balanced with his life as Clark Kent
We all know Tom and Erica got dumped on after Smallville and were hurting for money. Its completely sad that CW took a giant crap on their characters after making them so much money. There is not a single Superman or Lois Lane that would have stood by after learning something is attempting to destroy all of existence including their family.
I wouldv'e settled for a couple of sec of Jon Cryer then using Lex tech he forms into Michael Rosenbaum. Too much money to have asked for that i guess :/
Imagine if Charlie Harper was alive and saw evil Alan I bet Alan would yell at them and would kill Charlie Evelyn Berta and his son Jake even Judith and Walden maybe as revenge for being mean to Alan that would be a cool scene to watch 12 years of two and a half men Alan might get some brutality we need the two and a half men and super girl universes together to see Alan against his family they would be scared of him predict what would the two and a half men family would do if they saw evil Alan either way funny stuff would happen since Alan changed from innocent and caring father to supervillain sociopath
That wasn’t completely disappointing but I was a bit let down by Tom’s return. Smallville started all of this. I get that they wanted it all tied together and that is fine, I just wanted more than what they gave. With all CWs pandering and crap writing they could have given a bit more time dedicated to the folks they owe their success to. Instead we saw a 250 lbs Clark punch out Ducky.
The look on Clark's face says all that needs to be said about this series. "This weak, unintimidating little man is Lex Luther? Really???" Only reason I couldn't get into the show was because of how God awful modern DCEU shows are with their villains.
I love how Lex is downright insulted when he hears that Superman gave up his powers.
