Pewds has a really good point about self-help books. They help some people, but not all because each one contains a philosophy that's tailored to the author of that book. For example, you can be told that "procrastination is bad, it should be stopped via X, Y, and Z" and easily understand why, but to actually learn the discipline required to combat it is entirely a different battle that won't be won by reading a self-help book about it. At the end of the day, I think we just need to get out there and read more, experience more so that we can develop our own self-help guides. (But that's just my self-help philosophy! Please reply if you disagree--I'd love to hear from those whose lives changed because of picking up a self-help book.)
a lot of youtubers are afraid to put up content of what they genuinely enjoy due to fear that the audience will backlash. i'm so happy felix has this opportunity to actually create what he enjoys, and unironically... *im so proud of this community*
I truly love it when Pewdiepie records a calm and insightful video on books. I really like to watch them because, a lot of the time, many videos are made almost halfheartedly by other creators and throwing a lot of lights and edits and whatever to "attract" people. But videos where he just gives his conceptions and ideas about books are quite authentic to me.
I like the way this is phrased because the beginning of your comment implies he also records loud and confused videos on books, and if I'm honest I'd probably watch those too.
Man, I would love to just sit down and discuss ideas with Felix. Like, I don’t even care that he’s famous or a TH-camr. Just talking about ideas and stories with him would be so cool.

It’s more than one year after these video was posted but I just had to comment how much it meant to me. Felix had always been a judge influence but I think these video men’s the most because it convinced me to pick up a random book and hopefully enjoy it and now I’m a huge book fan and books like Felix have completely changed my life for the batter so these is just a big thank you for changing so many lives for the better mine included.

Don't feel bad if it was video games. Most devs didn't finish making the actual games before they released them anyway.
Tell me about it. I didn't finish this video 🤷🏻 actually I didn't even finish reading your comment 🤷🏻🤷🏻
felix the reason why i published 3 books at the age of 15, when i get a hit i will always be remembering you felix!

@@arlanengin6904 haha yeah same here.
Man, I would love to just sit down and discuss ideas with Felix. Like, I don’t even care that he’s famous or a TH-camr. Just talking about ideas and stories with him would be so cool.
@@insightodyssey709 my desire to have an intellectual discussion with Felix does not mean I don’t already have such discussions with my friends.
to me it looks like nordic people are most likely to have this genuine, chill, friendly and calm aura

Pewdiepie: Is a genuinely good role model and encourages young adults to read
Media: Pewdiepie is a racist because one of the books he read was from 1950 when there was racism
I thought racism ended in 1941.

I don't think it's shit. It's just really hard to get into it if you're not used to this writing style. It took my 3 tries to read it, was worth it.
it´s a great book if you finish it , in fact one of my favourites . it´s simple with words but they have a complex meaning behind a lot of them. i also loved this book beacause it happens in a world that is so meaningless that´s shocking. and the end is great
I agree with him. Fahrenheit 451 is an amazing moral and a horrible story.
