Cheers and thanks for the video! Wandering what size you are on and your height? I work at a Marin authorized dealer in TX and I'm going to order one of these but uncertain on size. I'm 5'9 (175cm) so I'm right in between a Medium and Large. 🤘🤙
@@mickfromrocky I was having trouble getting 1 from Marin so I ended up getting a Scott Patron 900 Large. I still think the Marin is a way better value for the $$$.
Hmm.... well they usually last just fine, but there can be a few things that may cause them to fail prematurely. It looks like you are in the UK? Please email your situation and issues to uk-enquiries@marinbikes.com and a member of the team will get back to see what we can do to help you out
@@marin_bikes I emailed them but they don't reply. When I got the bike all the bolts had been over tightened and needed retorquing to correct torque. I believe this has led to them fail early but tredz things it's normal wear and tear for them to only last a few months. I think that's ridiculous
Hi - yes, you should be able to fit most common 2.6" tires into the Rifty E. The hanger is a SRAM UDH style, which is readily available and is becoming the new standards across the industry. Cheers.
Got one a few weeks ago and I love it. It absolutely shreds. Really well thought out bike and punches way above its weight
Excellent! #riftylove
Yes 🙌 love it
My new favourite bike :-)

Why dont bearings last as long as brake pads on marin bikes?
Are the tolerances that bad on marin frames that bearings wear out so fast?

Sadly not, but our Alpine Trail can be run as a mullet
@marin_bikes thank you very much for your swift reply
