Yeah Remy You know stuff is gnarly when Remy brings out the full face It’s always a pleasure hearing you explain in depth what you’re riding and how to do what you are riding it helps a lot of people out
Thank you!
@@remymetailler You’re very much welcome
Remy didn't you have a scary crash and decided to wear a full face more often after that?
@@growlith6969 tbo he doesn’t wear a full face that often where it when he’s doing gnarly stuff like this other than that he wears an Enduro Some people don’t have common sense when riding gnarly stuff like this and still wear a Enduro. No offense to them but what is that sort of helmet going to do when their head smashes off the slab of a rock if they have a crash.
No it's unrelated. That crash I had was on a easy trail.
Lets recognize the builders who find and develop areas like this. These are not typical bike club sanctioned trails but progress the sport to new levels. Rogue trail builders dont give up!
Totally, in this case though there was no trail building really involved which is the beauty of it.
@@remymetailler What are you talking about, someone built that trail to give you access to that area...
Remy once more raises the bar for riders and viewers. Simply the greatest content!
Thank you! My girlfriend filmed and edited that!
It's been a good week for me. A fortunate and unexpected income and a killer black week sale at Propain made me pull the trigger on a new Tyee 6 AL in the "shred" spec. Seeing this video made me think of how my view of mountainbiking has changed from mostly just pedaling trails to "finding lines" and "unlocking features" in my local woods, although in a smaller scale of course. How my skills and interest in mountainbiking is still evolving even though i'm half a century old this year. And i owe it mostly to this channel. So thank's!
Thank you!
Your ability to ride that trail like you do is what changed your life 👊
I love watching you ride and explain, I love your honesty and advice. Keep these vids coming, they really help a lot of people progress.
I also love you didn’t take unnecessary risks, live to ride another day… always the best idea. Be safe bro, you’re a legend.
Thanks, will do!
Amazing rider
He doesn't even make a sound when he lands
Always butter smooth
Yeah yeah!! Killed it with this video!! Can’t wait to see the 9th slay of this killer trail.
Thanks Remy!! 💣
such a great video , showing the fun and challenges that can be had on a fantastic trail , rode the straight forward line two years ago and it changed what I thought possible and freed me up to respect but try new things , thanks remy
I really like with the new E13 hub makes your bike very quiet. You hear the tires and suspension working. Very smooth !!!!!
Yes the hub is super quiet!
Great video Rémy.
The trail riding from the first part is really nice to watch, and very well filmed/edited.
And I always love when you explain how you ride features, even if I'd never have the skill to do so, these advice still apply to my kindergarten skill level 🤣
Fantastic concept! It’s really interesting to hear you break down and analyze how you approach a specific feature.
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
"And that's my least favorite part" Raymond still loving the uphill 🤣
Remy: Thanks for your last Propain Voucher! My beautiful brandnew Tyee CF will change my riding style forever! 🙏🤜🤛
🙌
Really good video Remi.; The older video you showed (Unspoken Trials), is one of my all time favorites, I must watch that at least once a week. I reposted a link to it on Pinkbike when they had another video where the rider really focused on the sound, but you riding Whistler with the sounds of the shock, sounds of riding the rock slabs and features is really incredible, there is nothing better in my opinion. Thank you for the great content and thank you for the equipment recommendations. The Hayes brakes are a game changer for me.
I'm glad you like it!
Incredible, Rémy! Enjoyed every second of the video, truly inspiring. Thank you
Thanks!
4:46 man.
It shows that skills like that doesn't come " overnight" , youv'e been grinding it for years + huge talent!
Thank you! Hard work pays more than just talent.
absolutely crazy remy! Im 15 and hope to be as good as you one day! Thanks so much from down under :)
Keep working hard!
@@remymetailler thanks Remy :)
Great video, as always! Your words of wisdom is worth gold!
Nice Remy ! You got the knowledge & the skills , great video ! 👍
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it.
My 2 year old as soon as Remi starts up the trail "he's wearing a full face helmet just like me" 😂
Love the videos, and approach to riding big features, even if she is 10-20 years from riding them!! She watches the Benson and Ame videos multiple times a day, and before we ride! Shred on!!
First line I’m pretty sure I could do, but option 9 is right up my alley! I’ll be 55 this year so probably not in the cards. Nice riding as always!
You never fail to impress me with your videos. Keep up the great work! 💪
Thank you! I really appreciate it!
The grace you ride with, is just mesmerizing:-)
Thank you!
Thanks for the classes Man. Those Hayes brakes are amazing.
Those brakes are great.
when I watch such videos, everything seems so easy and smooth)
That slab will always be mean looking whatever the number of routes you take!
Thanks cameraman for the useful perspectives! 😊
11 am at the other end of the country, it's 3°c outside this helped with the motivation I needed to go ride at lunchtime, layering up while watching this.
😅
My girlfriend's first video;)
I've ridden this trail exactly one time and it was very intimidating but rode well.
The style on those cliff hucks 😅 🤘. Im happy if i get a little whippy tweak on a ten foot hip
Such a sick video Remy, full of good info I hope to put to use asap in my own riding!
Glad you liked it!
Toujours incroyables tes vidéos Rémy. Par contre, je pense que ça pourrait être stylé de faire des ralentis pour bien voir tes mouvements sur le vélo.
La prochaine fois quand j aurais plus de temps
oh man, you made that drop in at Goat's Gully (14:25) look like a blue run!
Sick as always! Id love to see some off season content, maybe gym stuff you do to keep in shape, skiing or snowmobile content. Diy projects around the house or garage, etc. cheers buddy
Yes I will
Awesome vid. Defo sniffing out that trail when I’m back in Squamish!!!
Remy. Your skills are incredible you are a true ambassador to the sport be safe keep the videos coming!!!!!
Thank you! This is much appreciated.
Great Video! Love the detail!
Super steep and tech. I like the explanation and things to minimize the risk. I use your tips for my own trails.
I'm glad you are using the tips!
When the full face helmet is on Remy is going Big!!...Lol! SICK riding as always bro!!..
Hi Remy, can you do a video on your non biking exercise? Like what lifts you do in the gym etc
Yes I can
Amazing 🙏
I recall he has already made one on the exercises he does at home.
Stay safe my friend!! Love your riding! ❤
Top Rémy le maestro de Squamish 🎉👍🥇
Loved this so much. My thing is I feel like I have potential to get worse the more I session scary feature 😅
Team Shred!!
3:25 Santa is passing near by...
😂😂 lmao
wish i can come here sometime
WOHHH 😮
so good!
Gouranga! Never getting bored of this one!
Man you're starting to get scizophrenic xD
Ahah
when u have someplace to practice like this daily this is how good you become
Love this! Bucket list place to ride.. do you have a video about your fork settings? I just got the same, my first air fork! Lighter than my z1 but today is suspension test day…
So so sick
famoose slab in squameesh
Cool 😎
Yo I’m going mountain biking this weekend
😎👊nice!
Sacré terr1 de jeu 💯
Para mi es El mejor ciclista del mundo
Small world nate’s uncle used to be my manager haha
Just out of curiosity how do you have your cleats and pedals set up? I’m brand new to clipless and bought time pedals. Your last bike check video I realized that’s what you are running. So far I’m loving them except the front pins I find useless at least with my shoes. Rear pins I run very low as my cleats are inset about .7 of a mm. I 3D printed a shim to try them flushed but hated how that felt. When I got them I thought I’d try out the easy cleats to get used to them but the 13* feels pretty good.
I use the 13 degree cleat as far back as possible. No pins on the front. They don't touch the sole and can make it tricky to clip.
Wow! Sick video! 😮
I can’t find the model of this bike though.
Propain Spindrift
Hey Remy.... how would I get a ERGON Saddle with the big lettering on it like yours?
I really like the look I've got same seat but cant find one with big ERGON like yours any help finding me one or link how to acquire one?
Thanks..
It is for sponsored rider only as of now
This is one of your best videos!!!! Very personable 👏. Nice jersey. I’ll be buying one.
Awesome!
Remy are you able to access the crosshair adjust on the rear dominion caliper with it being inside the spindrift's rear triangle?
You can, but I do not use it
@@remymetailler ok thanks!
The cameraman is so fast
Full 29 or Mullet? I'm about to build me a full 29 and a mullet/mixed setup but I´m not sure when it´s better to go with 29 and when it´s better with mullet
I´m 175cm and 64kg btw
Mullet. Always for me.
Remy what pedals are you riding. I am thinking on switching brands but need some advice
I'm using the Time Speciale 10 Large
Epic content as always. What’s not as epic the new spindrift I ordered for my son came with a deep gash on the top tube and your sponsor just shrugged it off as “must happened during transit” even though packaging was not damaged at all and no loose parts in the box. Until now we were huge Propain fans thanks to you with three bikes in our stable but this kind of attitude is BS
I'm sorry to hear. Can you message me on IG your order number and photo? I will relay.
Also the country you ordered from?
Hey Remy, I would kill myself if I try to ride these lines. If not, my girlfriend would kill me....if I try to ride these lines and survive😅. Incredible perfection of bikehandling🤙.
Can I anywhere buy the purple Hayes Dominion A4?
I love ur videos , why do u run duo over fox or RockShox
do you help dig the trails?
Who loves Hayes Dominion? I'm thinking of upgrading from Code RSCs to help with hand-fatigue on the steeps.
I ran them for just over a year when they first came out. They're easily one of the strongest brakes I've ever used, you can wait until the last second to brake and they'll scrub speed in a hurry. If you're happy with the lever shape/feel of the SRAM brakes then these will feel pretty familiar.
@AquaticBaboon thanks for the reply!
What brand and model is this bike?
Propain Spindrift
@remymetailler which spindrift?
Remindes me of the song "50 ways to leave your lover"
This is not mountainbiking !! this is downhill!!!
You forgot to put ridiculous before the downhill 😂😂
@ashleytombs is pretty serious if you ask me
@@FTA38yearfreeride same but it’s ridiculous how fast Remy goes down and manages to stay in control at the same time
@ashleytombs yeah, he is an artist.

I tend to avoid overlong travel on groomed routes. Rolling amid temperate rain forest
over fallen organics seeking undiscovered caves is what takes me there. Holes with
evidence of prior human visitors are not my primary interest. Also do talk to bears.
