I saw 2 neurologist for my movement disorder who had no clue what is was and told me they couldn't help me. The 3rd one I saw also had no clue either but he referred me to a colleague in his office who specialized in movement disorders and it took him about 10 minutes to figured out that I have dystonia. I started to give up hope in learning what I had. I actually thought I had tourette's.
Dr. Okun, is there a way to speak with you about my Dystonia and movement disorders? I have had these issues for about 6 months now and I need to find out what I can do for this issue. I live in the Tampa Florida area and would really appreciate help with this matter.
