I have mazdaspeed 6 when I cold I start I hear a rattle for 1 second ( I guess it's the vvt) when I accelerate quickly the car stutter and I get the p0300 engine code random misfire. could this be because of the vvt system failing?
Mazda never include timing chain replacement in the maintenance schedule as they say it doesn't need changing (complete idiots). When would you recommend to change?
@@csjrogerson2377 I didn’t read it anywhere a fellow MS3 buddy of mine said to do it every 100k I’m at 147k in my MS3 and it hasn’t been done once, kinda worried. Don’t wanna skip timing and rek my motor
@@josejauregui1521 You will normally hear top end chain rattle on start-up when they are getting loose and the tensioner is no longer able to do its job

Nah a misfire is normal a failing coil or sparkplug
