@@Alexeht91 The light is not about good or evil. Its about THINKING that you do is good. Thats why the scarlet crusade is able to use it. Arthas knew what he was doing was right but he also thought that this was bad. He knew that he could never forgive himself.

If i remember correctly, people would purposely kill Thaddeus first to stop the screaming. All the classic places are pretry spooky, but my all time horrendous thing in the xpacs, is the golden flowing waterfalls in the WOD alliance garrison area. You travel up it to find piles of dead draenai at the top. Like concentration camp dead body piles
Blizzard should capitalze off their lore and create a live action show for amazon or netflix. The arthas story alone would be viewed by millions.

Ngl WoW was alot better with spooky shit like this and the scourge as an enemy rather than a fish and a giant octopus.

BFA is the most horrible expansion I've ever played.
@@wowzer4919 A faction war xpac could have been awesome if they managed to give any nuance whatsoever. There had to be side quests of soldiers on each of the frontlines, small self contained stories that people could love. The overarching story had to also make some fucking sense--this idea that "you'll understand Sylvanas' actions later" is bullshit. I don't mind the general plot beats they intended--sylvanas torches Teldrassil, Lordaeron is a plague trap, Saurfang defects--all of those plot points are amazing. The problem is Blizzard fucking sucks at executing on character driven storytelling. They're okay at the goofy big dumb shit, but make things personal and their one dimensional characters can't sustain the narrative.
Tldr: Blizzard butchers good ideas. The faction war was a good chance for character driven stories that would have been amazing, but they blew it like they always do.

I love those little details they used to put in the game.

Of all the things WoW got for the casuals, I think heirlooms are the least harmful. You have to get a character up there and earn the heirlooms. No cash shop. Work for it, and get a small buff to leveling your alts. Work hard, and collect a bunch to level the alts rather quickly.
I feel like a reward earned in-game that doesn't help your main skip any content is alright. It's buying a boost straight up from a cash shop that's dogshit.

The thing with Arthas is kinda back and forth, i actually dont like him that much but the decision he made in Stratholme was a good decision, there would have been a better option thou, to quarantine the city but that would use too much resources and stuff. The thing with being controlled by frostmourne is that in the book, at the end when he sits on the frozen throne he has a vision where he kills nerzul and a young boy that resembles Arthas when he was young. You could interpret that by killing nerzul he escaped the control of frostmourne, and by killing the boy he killed his feelings. He wanted to kill the boy to escape remorse and killed nerzul to escape mind control. So i think that he was truly Arthas the lich king, nobody controlled him, but that is just an interpretation, there are many more
That's why he never invaded the rest of Azeroth with the Scourge after he regained control. He stayed in Northrend with his armies. I think I remember that he wanted to use The Scourge and his Death Knights to fight against the Demons if they ever invaded again. But then everyone was pretty much tricked into invading Northrend and killing the Lich King so that the Legion could begin their plans to invade.

As a moonguard player, I can confirm that even the people on moonguard shun those who choose to take part in the degeneracy that is the goldshire inn.

Arthas purged everyone infected or not. A good king would isolate the town and separate the infected from the healthy. He killed innocents and that drove him mad. If Jaina and Utter stayed this innocents could be saved.

Ill never forget the day when as a kid i stayed up all night until 7 am and someone told me to follow them to the goldshire house and I got to witness the ritual with the kids. It was do damn cool and one of my favorite memories in wow.
Arthas already isn't perfect king. He showed his weakness by taking the sword and going insane/lich king. He was like Anakin Skywalker: power broke him and he couldn't handle himself. That's no king's characteristics.

Yeah, it's nearly impossible and scourage planned it, but the real leader is shown in such moments: will he be able to stand his ground and not turn evil? Only few can and Arthas is not in that few. So yeah, he shouldn't be the king
@Lalrivunga Hnamte yes it is. Others could be killed by legion and by other means now, but noone from newer kings were betraying their own people to "protect" them. You're just fanboying and trying to get an excuse when in reality Arthas is not even a good king

Let's not forget the vast amount of gold that's being sold for easy money. WoW Classic was the best thing Blizzard has done to help earn a bunch of money in real life by selling gold.

I personally find werewolves badass in fantasy settings in general. In BiteFight I was always team Werewolves. I'm not a big fan of vampires.
I feel like in Warcraft the Nathrezim were a really cool take on Vampires. People seem to forget they're not actually demons.
@@Noobie2k7 I feel like it's the furry culture in the USA that ruins their perspective on worgen. While the rest of the world sees them as badass creatures of the night like the werewolves from Van Helsing, Americans associate worgen with the cringey furries from their pop culture.
It really sucks to be the only witness to people turning into undead by plagued grain. In Hearthglen, right after the news came to Arthas that an undead force will head to the town; he tells Jaina to get Uther while he defends the village. You can tell both of them are in shock when Arthas suddenly tells them, "Hey, the people of Stratholm are going to turn into terrifying zombies! Maybe we should end their suffering (because I don't think we have time to find a cure)." The Hearthglen part of the story from Warcraft 3 was left out of WOW. I am so mad.

Illidan was the hero of the night elves for persevering through doing anything to destroy the Legion and saving Azeroth.
In Retrospective Arthas purging Stratholme was a terrific moment, and Players put bombs in a whole part of Stormwind in order to stop some old god madness.

I always found the old world creepy and scary. I would get lost, end up on some high lv monster, die, discover tombs and what not.

the Creepiest stuff i have yet found in wow have to be the godamm Whispers of the nightmare in Val'Sharah, I hate donig stuff in there jsut because of that, plus theyre not even noticeable at first glance, theyre so silent, barely you hear them, really makes you wonder if youre actually hearing them or not or just actually going insane

Imagine if they did the huge reset of wow with a mini movie where the horde and alliance are about to go to "nuclear" war and as the bombs are dropping we have an underdog character barely in the nick of time sacrifice to unleash a time warp device to reset azeroth and save the planet. But in doing so everyone from that timeline dies and we restart wow in a completely different azeroth like how pangea used to exist.
