"In my opinion" i think Believix is the weakest level , I know Believix have advantages such as speedix, Zoomix and tracix , but I mean as a strength it is weak and did not hurt much the wizard of the black circle . I was hoping for a lot of this level but it disappointed me
In season 6 episode 1 they show why Daphne needed Sirenix. They knew the witches had access to Sirenix. That meant they had access to a powerful beast. A beast that could only be controlled by a nymph of domino that is Sirenix level.
The answer to the earth fairies and magical adventure can be found in what version of the secret of the lost kingdom you watched because there are 2 of them. One is the normal but the other one during the bug attack on Alfea you can see a woman with pink hair run in the bottom right corner of the screen with a shadow of a dog. The hair on the does fade to orange. That one is a different timeline. And magical adventure takes place in that timeline. Thar right the cannon show we know is not the original timeline. That also explain THE BIGGEST PLOT-HOLE EVER! Roxy and bloom age.
Just letting you know that most of the fandom only takes Seasons 1-3 (and maybe 4) seriously, and then anything after Nickelodeon started managing the show is just a very popular fanfiction.
With the rise of more multiverse stories in recent movies and shows, I’ve come to the conclusion that everything between Magical Adventure and Seasons 5-8 all take place in other multiverse realities. The main universe is Seasons 1-4.
tbf it should be 1-4, Season 5 is a soft reboot because Nickelodeon wanted to hit a younger demographic and they had to put them back in school with no real explanation. Season 4 is a proper epilogue season given that the show was supposed to end after the first movie and it was before Nick dumped their terrible ideas onto it
@@getoutnow1858 Season 4 definitely fits into the continuity from Seasons 1-3, so I doubt the major problem is retconning. I think a lot of fans just found the execution of some things in S4 to be undesirable/unnecessary.
@@yoyohan9 I personally don't hate season 4 too much, but the plot just makes me sad. How is it possible that the literal dragon fire, the thing that gives life to everything in the universe, is legit useless against the Wizards of the Black Circle. Darkar and Valtor were epic villains and they had real might, having taken over large areas and/or amounts of magic from the universe in the past. Surely one planet Earth is nothing compared to the vastness of the magical universe? That's why I consider season 4 to be the "Nickelodeon says hi" season where the timeline and characters really start to be messed with. anything after that (seasons 5-8) Bloom should just be able to obliterate at this point.
My version will always be 4Kids Winx Club and Secret of the Lost Kingdom (despite it had quite a few flaws) I mean I do really love S4 but I always viewed it as noncanon, considering Winx Club was originally meant to end at S3
I will never understand why Aiysha/Layla was struggling (in season 5) to use her power underwater even though she is a water-based fairy. Like understand when the others couldn't, especially Bloom but there was no reason why SHE out of all people couldn't.
Because the writing team couldn't come up with a better idea on how to introduce Sirenix. If anything they could have it where Tritananus tries to find a way to gain access to the infinite ocean without being a Sirenix fairy sometime after his escape from prison because of the childhood stories he used to hear about the emperor's throne being in there. Thus being the reason why the Winx must gain Sirenix.
Everyone forgets Stella is the sun AND moon fairy meaning she should also have shadow powers on top of light powers Edit: One common thing I see is “the moon is just reflected sunlight” When I wrote down the idea I was mainly trying to get the gist down. One thing about strong moonlight it that it could affect the tide so I thought it’ll be cool if Stella and Aisha teamed up to demonstrate this at one point but I understand it goes against her character’s design and personality
@Bunny Fiasco You’re right! I thought about why the writers never explained the whole lunar power thing because Stella has a special spell called Lunar Magnetism.
@@specssmish honestly, I'm trying to figure out a good logical reason as to why Stella would still almost die underground and the only thing I can come up with is a total headcanon: it's mentioned in a comment here that it could be argued that Stella's sun powers are more developed since she's closer to her father, who represents the sun part of her. Since her relationship with her mom is more complicated, I would personally have loved to see an arc where the lunar part of Stella's powers are focused on, maybe she doesn't have much control over them because her relationship with her mother causes conflicting emotions which in turn has effects on her magic. in order to gain control over those powers, she needs to heal her relationship with her mother (maybe it was her mom that decided she actually wanted the divorce, is controlling etc.). Too bad we didn't get any of this, it could've been so good
@@specssmish if we're going off of science, technically the moon wouldnt shine without the sun. so she would only get the moon power because of the connection to the sun
@@specssmish I think Stella only had 2 moon spells in Rai. Her Charmix and in S3E26 she has moon shield on Andros when fighting against an evil clone of Brandon
Personally I liked Daphne when she was dead she was this character who would give advice to the Winx when they needed it most and her design was honestly a favorite of mine because it showed she was strong and mysterious then when they brought her back she became like every other female character and needed a boyfriend and she lost her iconic design I think they should have just left her dead or in her spirit form and continue use her to give the Winx advice so at the very least they could fix some plot holes
Also, the fact that she was dead gave Bloom´s backstory a bittersweet/sad feeling. When she simply recovered EVERYTHING (her parents, planet, sister, etc) it felt bland.
Literally the ONLY reason the creators chose to bring back Daphne is cos they realised that Bloom couldn't be Queen of Domino if she married Sky, cos then She'd be Queen of Eraklyon. Solution? Make Daphne Queen instead (the actual rightful heir to the throne as she is the oldest child & crown Princess)
@@blankxblankx8516 Am I weird that I didn't saw Daphnes revival as more of her finally earning them life SHE deserved? But yes.. it could have been avoided if Bloom never saved Domino - and just fully bonded with the essence of Pyros to make her Enchantix proper.
Yeah I hate that she was brought back to life. Plus in ss5 it’s not fair that bloom was able to bring Daphne’s back but Musa couldn’t use her sirenix wish to bring back her mom? Or even Aisha bringing back Nabu? Ofc bloom has to have it all
My biggest problem with Daphne is for me. she was a grown woman to me in season one, and when the Winx freed her from the curse, she was little older than Bloom. which made no sense to me.
exactly, when they show daphne saving bloom by sending her to earth she looks like an adult or atleast a teenager - why can't winx be consistent with ages
What is never understood is: What happened to the Ring of Solaria? It’s so powerful since it’s forged from the dragon fire and cannot be let to fall into the Trix’s hands but what happened to his after the first three seasons? It was never mentioned or shown again.
I think the reason why Stella stopped using the Ring of Solaria is because ever since she unlocked Enchantix, her power has grown strong to the point she doesn’t need to rely on it. In season 1, it states that Stella can’t use her magic without her ring, my understanding is that Enchantix allows Stella to use magic more naturally without the Ring. But I still miss her using her staff
I also like to think that after she got enchantix she returned the ring to her father and now it’s with the Crown Jewels or in the Royal treasure room somewhere
The trix were never really sisters. They called themselves sisters because they are a coven, but in the first season it is icy and stormy accused musa of spying on their friend Darcy and in episode 23 the witches head mistress says that she and the other headmaster had beaten their three ancestors. Some writers probably forgot but they were never related.
They’re literally descendants of the original coven that destroyed Sparx/Domino. Actually the original idea was they WERE the ancestral witches themselves, and I guess somehow maybe used an age changing spell or something to avoid being destroyed or whatever?
@@tsuyuasui7297 yep. 4Kids and in the Dubbing Bros version. Personally I prefer Sparx over Domino because it matches more with the Dragon Flame being from there and where the Great Dragon disappeared
@@kristinahuchison2511 tbh I don't understand the message lf your comment that well. But it's actually a fact that the trix aren't related. In season 3, when Flora gets her enchantix, the trix become kids again and there we clearly see, that they never met as childs. Therefore they can't be real sisters. Even if it's told that they're the descendants
My major issue was why Sky and Bloom haven't gotten married yet. He proposed at the end of the first movie and then at the beginning of the second movie everyone acts like he never proposed (he did it in a ball in front of everyone in the first movie) and he goes ahead and proposes again. However there is no mention of any proposals or wedding in any episode of the series, Bloom's sister even comes back from the death and gets married before her.
Yeah about Daphne. Sorry on another video mentioned that she got married WAYYY to quickly. How long did she even know Thoren? It hasn’t been at least a year since they’ve met right? So how can she be married so quickly???
@@ShinoriDelfrim Daphne getting married literally a few episodes after meeting Thoren with no exact mention of a time skip really pressed me. The main couples have been together for years since it's been established that one season is more or less equal to one year, and yet none of them got married despite there being a proposal in Bloom and Sky's case too. With Daphne returning from the dead/becoming corporeal again (take it as you please) and having to learn how to be human again and getting used to the fact that time basically froze for her while she was a spirit (which brings another plot hole in my point of view, would that make Daphne theoretically and at least physically younger than Bloom now?), I doubt dating and marriage would have been her first concern.
Never understood why they had to suddenly give Icy a tragic backstory. Why couldn't she just be evil? Let villains be villains; I don't always need to relate and/or sympathize with them.
@@kingdomorange2 actually they mentioned this in the show, in season 3, they even state they're not related implantatly, so it's not that noncannon. Also The creator called Flora the second strongest..... Do I need to say how the show contradicts this?
I think it would be weird if they keep coming back after every season so… I think it’s better if they give surrender to the winx and become good let’s hope season 9 finished her back story
@@summerproductions7699 Yes, this does not correspond to the show,,, It turns out to me that Flora is the weakest after Musa and Tekna, she does not know how to control her power, the nature fairy must be strong as we saw the nature fairies in the fourth season are very strong
I think the plot holes come from it's like a different team was responsible for each season (you can see it when Winx Club went through several different TV shows, by the way) and each one of them created some sort of alternate story without agreeing with the previous one which was in the original
I have seen some comments people saying that Roxy didn't get Believix it was the first level but they put Believix song on it , I think it's a strange idea because all these years we thought she got Believix
Seasons 1-4 were made with genuine care for telling an interesting story with compelling plots and character arcs. All seasons afterwards were warped to fit Nickelodeon's demand for constant content with retreading storylines, repeat characters long after their supposed "defeat", and toys to sell. Hence why seasons 5 and on became increasingly Bloom-centric while all others were shafted to the side, lore became more and more convoluted, and most characters were cut up and haphazardly pasted together. Another thing that bugged me was how newer transformations became recolored copy-pastes of each other. Seasons 1-4 had unique appearances and song sequences for each character to represent their personalities and powers, Bloomix and Mythix being the last gasps of that unique-nesss as they all became copy-pastes of each other
Yeah. But then again, Nickelodeon was focused on their sponge at the time. They didn't had time to rely on Winx Club, which the show was later quickly replaced by Sanjay and Craig and Breadwinners and moved to the Nick Jr channel (even though, said channel doesn't like violence.)
@@日月千邪2 Butterflix was horrid. Sirenix is so so for me. Season 6 Sirenix captured some individuality in the transformation sequence, but Season 8 improved some of the individual outfits.
Let's talk about Daphne "in my opinion" , before season 5 and 6 I used to look at Daphne as a very mysterious and wise character who knows everything about the magical dimension and appears in special times that she was like an angel, after season five and six I felt that all my feelings towards her disappeared and she became just an ordinary character and So lacking in self-confidence at times and little weak she couldn't hold Bloom from falling, wasn't she the keeper of sirenix with a great reputation? Why they change her? "" She still good""
also the fact that she became a bodyless spirit doesnt make sense in the begginning we learn that Politea betrayed her and Sirenix Power turned against her and later on we learnt that the Ancestral Witches cursed Sirenix and it turned againt her when she used the power to protect herself
Same! She was never meant to be alive and I truly feel resurrecting her took away her true role in the story. Not to mention her nymph form never reappears ever
I personally think the reason why Daphne obtained Sirenix was either: 1) A requirement to for a fairy to become a nymph, possibly explaining how she was able to survive long term underwater and why most nymphs we see live in bodies of water (This also explains why Politea has Sirenix too). or 2) As a nymph she needed or wanted Sirenix to travel and protect the magic dimension. or 3) Sirenix is just generally a more powerful form when compared to Enchantix and other possible transformations. This might be unlikely though since Enchantix was supposedly their "final fairy transformation" and the only reason why the Winx got different transformations above Enchantix was largely out of circumstance. And as a side note, Daphne's age has been an inconsistent shit show as well. In an episode of Season 3 it was shown in a flashback that a young Daphne (no more than 9 or 10 years old) was telling her parents "look she's awake" while referring to baby bloom but then it was shown multiple time that an adult Daphne (likely in her early - mid 20s) was sending baby Bloom through a portal to Earth. I'm sorry but idc what kind of princess or powerful nymph Daphne is but I just refuse to believe that Daphne went from an 8 year old to like 22 in less than a year or so.
@Will N true, but in season 5, with the room of reflections, it shows Daphne as a grown woman while fighting the Ancestral witches before Bloom got sent to Earth
@Tyrex Enchantix was never meant to be a final form it's just aform where one becomes a real fairy and no longer could switch between Watch/Fairy. In other words when you are Enchantix you are a fairy permanently.
The biggest thing that doesn't make sense about "Winx Club" is that everything is ALWAYS about Bloom. It just gets annoying after seaons of one and the same. I think it would have been a much better show, if they had given all the girls more equal spotlight. For example, choosing a different girl as the focus-point for each season. That would have given them material for seven seasons (if we include Roxy). Season 2 with the antagonist literally called "Shadow Phoenix" could have been centered around Stella. We could see her dealing with her parents divorce (I'm personally glad she didn't use her wish to get them back together, it wouldn't have been right), her responsibilities as pricess (especially in a time of ciris) and juggling that with a relationship, friendships and school. Season 5 was practically WRITTEN for Layla/Aisha as the focus-character. The whole thing starts on her home-planet, water is her element and the antagonist is her freaking COUSIN. But NOOO, Bloom had to be the one to save the day.
I agree! Honestly I actually wish each girl got a season that focused mostly on her, NOT it somehow leads to Bloom having the utmost importance. I always wished we had a music themed season, and this would explore more about Musa’s mom Wanin when she was a fairy. I also feel ALL of them should get a legendary power, NOT just Bloom. I mean in S1, Stella’s ring was literally said to be one of the most powerful objects because the Great Dragon made it. I’m beyond pissed it got ditched in S3. I don’t mind the first 3 seasons mostly being about Bloom as it was an overlapping story about who and how Sparx/Domino was destroyed. S4 at least had more attention with Musa thinking about a professional music career on Earth after their mission was over, as well as Leila and Nabu getting engaged and maybe even married either at the end or the beginning of S5. Otherwise Flora, Tecna and in a way Musa have never actually had a season about them
@@kristinahuchison2511 Yeah, I mean, the first season works really well from Bloom's perspective. The audience in introduced to this new world through a character just as new to this as we are. And they could have done the overlapping storyline about her searching for her origins and what happened to Domino/Sparx still. But it doesn't have to be about her all the time. The world doesn't revolve around one single person and neither does the magic dimension. The writers chose to have six central characters, so WHY only single her out again and again? It bothers me most with her Enchantix and the wohle Bloomix-situation. Layla had to give up her eyesight, Stella, Flora and Musa almost DIED saving someone, Tecna WAS TRAPPED IN THE FREAKING OMEGA DIMENSION, but Bloom can just WILL herself into Enchantix? I know there were certain limits on her powers (like not being able to shrink herself), but that shouldn't even have been an OPTION! Yes Domino/Sparx is drestroyed, but they had Daphne there from season 1, couldn't Bloom have saved her somehow and earned her Enchantix the normal way? The wohle "Bloomix"-thing is even worse. She is again singled out for no reason at all other than being the writers favourite. And her always playing the hero gets annoying.
@@susanbones3381 yep! Honestly with Bloom’s Enchantix, I’m rewriting when she goes to earth after the Erakleon incident, Baltor sends the Trix (or maybe goes himself) to corner Bloom, considering her powers are in a way based on her mood (like in S2) so Mike and Vanessa are threatened with Baltor saying “I already took one set of parents, I’m sure you won’t mind me destroying the other” and Bloom almost dies protecting them, and while she doesn’t get Enchantix, Daphne visits her in a dream and tells her a place that used to be a part of Sparx/Domino, Pyros.
The one thing that *does* make sense is the Earth Fairies being an anomaly *because* they were locked away sometime in medieval. It is natural that this is either how fairies used to be in those times and the fairies in Tir Nan Og never evolved into modern fairies, or they evolved in a completely different direction because unlike the rest of Magix, they didn't have any way to communicate with the other worlds.
It Is funny because the Indigenous peoples had A bond with Fay’s when they encountered them. It was modernization ways of Our Species, the colonial period In times of slavery when Fays were heavily hunted and killed, along with their natural environment Being colonized altogether. Which Is one of the reasons why the Indigenous were taken from their land and placed amongst residential schools as they call them, tortured beaten, hair shaving. Then ultimately killed and buried in make shift gardens. Wind club and any other alternative depiction on magic will never touch on It, although wind club loosely mentioned a bit of It sometime previously.
I think that the sirenix is very weak, the only powerful thing is the special spells. But really after the enchantix no winx seems powerful anymore, the powers became generic and less related or similar to their elements.
7:20 I can explain some stuff of why the girls didn’t wished what audience thought they would. Resurrecting the person who died is one of the morally complicated questions, because it can raise potential issues in living peoples life, for example what if Musa’s father secretly dated someone and suddenly Musa’s mother is brought back to life, therefore it will raise complication for Musa’s father and his girlfriend and Musa’s mother, example when this occurred in the other show “Once Upon a Time”, where the couple had to break up, because his wife got resurrected so he got back with her. It would been actually selfish of Musa to resurrect her mother, even tho she misses her so much, but it would break her parents lives. Every actions has consequences you see. For Aisha, she did a right choice because we need to save people who are not dead yet! It would be selfish of her to decide to let her cousin die and bring Nabu back, her cousin is still living and suffering, while Nabu is not existing and can’t feel anything at this point. It was very mature of Stella to wish that instead of her parents getting together and forgot about their problems, is to wish that they understand their feelings instead, because you know, you can’t solve issues of you pretend them to disappear, you have to work on issues, and Stella helped her parents to do so by wishing them to understand themself better. Both of these examples are good lessons to us(the audience) because in real world we can’t bring people back who died or just live our live without pretending that problems aren’t there, we just have to live with it, adapt, and learn how to overcome our problems.
Have to agree on this! However, it would have been better for Musa to be seen using her wish to maybe keep Melody safe or something, instead of simply being glossed over :/
@@iloveCodeLyoko123 I agree with the both of you here damn I thought I was the only one who LITERALLY kept rewinding and repeating the episode to see if I missed a part where she actually gets a Sirenix Wish and it would be pretty powerful if we could see that part and then insert what the commenter ⬆️ said
another thing to consider with Musa wishing her mum back to life. her mum died when she was young at least 10 years have passed if she comes back to life its not like Musa's dad will also become 10 years younger. and yes there isnt anything wrong with an age gap it will still be very jarring to say the least hes lived an entire 10 years mourning the loss and learning to move on, he may not be ready for a new relationship but hes probably in a different phase of his life than she would be. plus if her mum died from a natural illness shes just going to get sick and die again maybe even as soon as she comes back to life as it would be just before she died so they probably wouldnt have the time to get medical help and bringing your loved one back to life to watch them immediately die in front of you seems worse than wishing for something else to be honest.
True, to be honest since Aisha gets along with Musa the most they could have had Musa used her unused wish to bring Nabu back for Aisha since she used it to save Nereus.
Actually World of Winx IS set in an alternate universe (i'm suprised you didn't know this, no offense), as it is mentioned in the wiki page and the fandom all agrees that it is in an alternate universe. There's too many things about WoW that proves its in an alternate timeline, the winx hiding their identity, dreamix and onyrix not shown or mentioned in the series, and just the fact that its a spin-off in general.
I think the Trix calling each other sisters is not meant by literal sibling relationship. Wiccan witches and people who claims themselves witches and practice witchcraft sometimes are calling each other sisters. It's just a thing that is common among witches and witch related media
Personally I think that the first three season and the first movies were perfect, they had a great story, good explanations of the events, and very likable characters. The second movie an the fourth season got problems but they still had very interesting ideas, and the story was pretty good. But with the others seasons they spoilt everything. Daphne who was one of my favorite characters because of what shes did to saved Bloom got completely ruined, it was so sweet that she died for her sister, but no: let's bring back her with a story that has no sense and create a plot hole big like a house.Second why justify Icy and tell that she doing all that for her sister, she's simply an evil character and why she didn't this before, like in the first season when she had the power of the dragon or in EVERY damned season and i'm sorry but i'll never believe that her who was so powerful, who transformed Mirtha into a pumpkin it's not strong to transformed his sister. And last, why Diaspro is still there, she has done very bad things: she allies with Valtor, she plan to marry Sky with a potion, she even tried to kill Bloom!. I know it get's too long, but i growing up watching Winx Club and i hate to see this marvelous series ruined for ever
Me too. Honestly it’s not har to make a plot for Diaspro that makes sense. Her parents used their money but she is still shunned for her actions and seeks revenge on Bloom for ‘ruining her life’. Or maybe she just cast a spell on the king to make her his liaison. She could even cry out about her own innocence because of Valtor’s mark. People would believe her too, since she’s a princess.
That Daphne, Icy and Diaspro plot hole is something i didn't understand either. I mean in season 3 Diaspro is litterly banned and season 1 clearly gave Icy a backstory by telling that she and her sisters are a reacrination of the origenal witches and that she wanted to finish the jop. Daphne's backstory was also pretty clear to me. Why adding that Sirenix thing? That was unnecisairy.
I know. She always comes between Sky and Bloom. I mean get a life. After so many seasons of hearing no from sky. There must be another guy you can marry. Are there no other men on eraklyon
One thing that never really made sense to me was how they treated Flora's power. Aside from seriously under using her. She has "Talked to plants" many times. Or at least heard them. But in one of the first episodes they have to go into the forest and "hear the trees." Sounds like a job for Flora right? But Bloom was the one who could hear it and told everyone else what to do because only she could truly understand the trees. Also, going back to the under use thing, she should be way more powerful than they have her be. Nature doesn't just include plants, but even if it did, all she did was grow some vines. She was commonly used to get hit. She never really had good storylines either aside from her sacrifice for enchantix. I get that Bloom is the main character but even then, other characters have strong stories and powers but they use Flora as a damsel in distress.
You know what else bothers me? Pizza. In season 1 when Bloom pretends to be a princess from another kingdom to be allowed to stay at Alfea, she asks the girls if they want to eat a pizza and they all ask "What's a pizza?" But in season 2 (apparently it's season 3 sorry 😅) before Stella's princess ball they go to a pizzeria. Now you can say that they all come from different planets with different cultures and since Magix have a very mixed population it's possible that they have a lot of things that come from different planets. BUT it's also stated that magic disappeared on Earth and no longer have connexion to the magic dimension so why would they have pizza which come from earth ?
S3 is the Princess Ball thing. But I agree, I appreciate the cultural difference idea, but shouldn’t that mean no one in Magix knows how to make a pizza? And when they ask “What’s pizza?“ instead of describing it, she’s literally “Ya know, pizza” uh, no they don’t, why else would they be asking?!
Imo winx club isn't too well written. It's good and entertaining enough, but it isn't like Ever After High or My Little Pony where everything was super well thought out and actually given more to the story than just marketability. It was just cheap entertainment for kids. Don't get me wrong, I love it and grew up on it, but the difference in quality is pretty apparent once you rewatch it.
@@yamyam493 I agree with you but it's still fun to try and find explanation to the plot holes in the show, it can lead to some cool headcanons, but yeah you're right about Winx Club being more entertainment than quality storytelling
@@yamyam493 that’s part of the reason why 4Kids remains my favorite dub. I agree it had a handful of stupid changes (specifically names like Andros vs Tides) but to be fair it avoided a lot of changes in the Rai dub that Straffi kept changing like: Red Fountain was originally a school for wizardry, but it’s quite clear the specialists except Helia and Nabu can’t use magic/have powers; another is Faragonda naming the base form Winx, how did the other forms already end in -ix then? Or Stella can only use her Solarian Ring to teleport to places she knows/been, but she even says in S3 on Lynphea she’s never been there, or another is I thought Stella couldn’t use her powers without it or something like that, considering in S1 she always transformed with it, but it never says in S2 why she slowly stopped using it (unfortunately in S3 her scepter only appeared 2X I think) One of my favorite ones is S1 when Darcy and Stormy are fighting the Winx except Bloom, they still had the Dragon Flame, why the heck weren’t their basic spells insanely powerful or something, instead somehow “freshman” fairies easily beat them when they still had a godly power at their command? At least in 4Kids Icy demanded them to surrender their powers to her in one final attempt to finally get rid of Bloom.
A couple things to note about inconsistencies in the show 1. Since season five and six were taken over by Nickelodeon the show became a lot more inconsistent with maintaining the plot 2. World of winx was indeed set in an alternate universe 3. Due to the fact season 4 came out before the second movie they used believex instead of enchantex to keep it “consistent “ 4. Season 8 was a soft reboot. That’s why it doesn’t match up 5.season six is a disaster of plot holes and bad writing so don’t believe anything they tell you Did I miss anything?
season 6 was a total mess, i hate the fact that the girls went back to alfea and literally just graduated at first movie like wtftfftftftf (though, they actually mentioned that it should take 4 years if I remember correctly for them to graduate. if they didn't graduate at the first movie, it will be much more sense that they are still at alfea [not all seasons represents EACH year] and could be graduating at the end of s6 or s7)
@@nacie6390 nick put them back in Alfia in season five in order to maintain the young audience. Even though it’s dumb because season four the brought the girls to earth in order to display a new dynamic with them in their adult lives. Nick attempted to install a lot of drama, no rhyme, no reason, other than dulling down the content to “appeal” to younger audiences. Remember that bloom and sky were engaged in one of the movies. Remember Diaspro was banished. Lots of things that were pretty consistent in the first four seasons nick tried to erase so they could use characters and plots to make new drama.
a few other things i disliked in winx: 1. in season 7, the trix were locked away in the infinity bird, but they somehow came back, unexplained and unquestioned in season 8. 2. in season 1 and 2, the winx had their own style that linked with their personality and ethnicity. especially musa, you could tell she was asian. however as the seasons went on, especially in seasons 5-8, their clothing became less diverse. they all seem to be wearing the same type of westernised clothing. in season 1, techna had her own suit with her transformation and in season 3, her fairy form was very apparent to her power, which was technology. if you show a picture of the winx club to a child from season 6, they probably wouldn’t be able to guess their powers or origins. 3. how the teachers all relied on the winx to save everyone. we know that bloom has the strongest power in the universe, and therefore is stronger / has more potential than anyone in the school including the teachers, but i feel like if you leave a task to defeat different evil creatures that have been around for centuries to a bunch of college students who could barely converge their powers in season 2 - well let’s face it, they were lucky to have beat their enemies. especially how most of their enemies have been around since like forever, like valtor, or LD. despite bloom being in charge of the dragon fire, we all know she hasn’t got the capabilities to use it fo the maximum, especially in earlier seasons. if that was the case, she could’ve easily beat all of the enemies that came her way because well she has the strongest power of the universe. that leads me on to my next point. 4. in season 1, we can really see how powerful bloom is as she uses it freely without any barriers. however in every other season, S2-8, she seems to have been weakened and can’t use her power at all. in early season 2 when they go to save the pixies, bloom fails to defeat icy stormy and darcy despite having the greatest power of all. she may not have mastered how to use the dragon fire but we clearly see that she’s holding back power as she fought more energetically in season 1. 5. similarly, as the seasons go on, the winx seem to get weaker and weaker. the strongest they were was in season 3 after obtaining enchantix, however, despite being stronger nkw, in seasons 4-8 they seem to have weakened their powers. 5. how self obsessed bloom is.
In S3, the Trix where captured and sended back to the monastary, but in S5 the Trix are in this prison at Andros. That also don't make sense. About Point 4: I remember that in S2 it was said, the reason why Bloom was so weak in Darkars castle was that her powers were suppresed by the shadow phoenix powers, who was the opposite of Blooms. Also Darkar has the ability to absorb his opponents powers. If your power is drained, even the strongest powers can't be released.
omg same here!! don't judge me but i'm 18 now and i still love to watch the whole series over and over again bc its too good like, i might have hundreds of questions about the unaligned storyline(s) and whatnot but idc the show's still THAT GOOD!
I mostly rewatch S1-3 and sometimes S4 and 5. 6 is a massive headache but at least the pixies came back. S7 is so boring if Tynix wasn’t in it I’d never rewatch it again. And as much as I hate so many changes in S8 (specifically the specialists 🤮) I am kinda intrigued with Icy’s story because she actually used to be one of my favorite characters when I was younger, though she’ll always be a cold hearted b*tch to me. I actually really hated WoW at first because of how different it was, but I’ve learned to appreciate it and if I had to choose between S9, Fate or WoW and I couldn’t use the storytelling or artstyle from S1-4, I’d choose WoW because at least they look like 25 year olds and adopted the fairy couture art for it. Not to mention at least it was more mature than 5-8
I always wondered why older people like faragonda who said they were fairies didn’t have wings anymore because in season 3 she fought Valtor and was able to fly without wings
Well Faragonda used to be a witch before she converted her magic into the fairy magic. It's possible that she still possesses her witch abilities such as using magic & flying without transforming.
@@katitobyt Not in the dub I watched. It was absolutely never mentioned. It has to be at least in season 4 or something, because in the cartoon they don’t mention it.
I loved Diaspro in the first 2 seasons of winx, but then it felt like the writers got sloppy and lazy with her character. She had so much potential that was wasted
Right i actually wanted her to even get her enchantix at some point by saving bloom or sky after realizing all the evil stuff she has done, it would also add more to the world building by having non-main characters get their enchantix..
She was engaged to Sky and he technically cheated on her with Bloom and somehow she ended up the bad guy and he the victim. Why was she engaged? Where are her parents? What's actually happening on Eraklyon? So much wasted potential with that character.
Really wish whoever is responsible for Winx club in the future would listen to people's thoughts on bringing back the old Winx Club... And not turning it into another kids fluffy show...I don't want Winx club to became something like My Little Pony, Tangled Tv series and other tv series kids like that... Edit : I'm not saying MLP and Tangled are a bad show. I love Tangled actually, really love the story and the plot.... Really wish they would go back to the story telling same as S1 to S3
@@SweetGir12 I'm not saying MLP is bad...😅 I just feel like all kids shoes now are not that diverse (both in story style and well art style) Anyway I just wish WINX club would have the same energy as the first 3 seasons 🥲
@@katitobyt How did you think we're dissing it? Have you even read our comments? We were talking about how well it was made and the main writter was a fan.
@@hakushoku0129 I thought that because of the second paragraph you wrote. How you don't want it to become a kids fluffy show like MLP and Tangled. Both are good and i would love if it were as good as those.
forget that. the biggest potholes were Roy's sudden disappearance, Riven's sudden return and Musa-Orlando situation. The whole Orlando-Musa thing felt like the whole Aisha-Roy situation. I always thought there would be a scene towards the end of S7 where a brief scene would show Orlando missing Musa and visa-versa and then Faragonda would grant Musa permission to get Orlando from the past with Faragonda altering the past so that the present doesnt get affected that much but nope. He was completely forgotten like he never existed. Another issue was Roy's sudden disappearance like what happened to my main man, couldn't they have just brought him back as Roxy's boyfriend or so. Personally I didn't really see the need for the writers to bring Valtor back a whole 5 seasons later.... they really ran outta ideas for a great plot.. Also i was hoping that at the end of S8, the winx would've found out that the icy planet they were battling the trix on was actually Icy's home planet and that they woulda found out that the white fox icy was carrying is her lil sister but nooo, they decided to leave it till the next season. I hope that the villian for S9 will be the Sharman witch and that the winx and trix will work together to defeat her. When Icy used the prime star to 'bring' her sister back, when her sister was back for a brief moment, i immediately knew the prime star didnt work because sapphire was still at the exact age she was when the sharman witch turned her into a white fox. I'm actually curious to know more about Musa and her dad's relationship, because what i've gathered from all seasons is that they're not really close, seems like her mom's death caused a rift between the two. i actually wanted a season where all the winx (S7 or S8) would want to start their own careers or follow their own dreams and all. actually hoping that one of them (especially helia and flora/brandon and stella) would get married but oh well...
Before this video even starts, I’ll say my piece: The timeline for Earth and Domino make no sense. So… did everyone just forget about Domino just like that? It’s not even been 2 decades? And how could the earth fairies been imprisoned for centuries, yet Roxy is Morgana’s daughter???
@@aprilmadlock we all know this. the problem is the timeline. half of the problems in the series are relatate to the timeline. things happend centurys ago, but also has only been 16 years.
I really wish they stuck to what the first 3 seasons were. Teenage girls with magical fairy powers that have actual personalities, real stories, and adventures. I wish they revamped the first few seasons making plot make sense then make more seasons leading off of that. It lost its magic for me at season 4 which I enjoyed but didn't like for many reason the plot could've been better and made more sense. The fact they made a whole universe for specifically EARTH Fairies and could've gotten into faefolk lore and following Roxie to learn and help these ancient creature that didn't have the fairies help for the hundreds or whatever years they were gone. Man they really missed some stories there.
I agree. S4 really could’ve been as amazing as S3 considering how mature some of the themes and plots were. Honestly I think the pet shop is what made it annoying, considering it took over 2/3 of the season. The Earth fairies literally weren’t even out until the last 1/3 of the season, making their revenge quest last like 2 weeks when they’d been plotting for literal centuries. Another thing is the Winx Band, not only is Musa NOT the leader (WHY?!) but this almost made them take a break from being fairies, considering they almost signed a deal with Jason. I’m not kidding S5 is when their personalities kinda melted to being about the same: Leila isn’t shy or not interested in boys, Bloom simply became bossy and the definition of Mary Sue, Musa just doesn’t really have much personality aside from a continuation of relationships issue with Riven, Tecna just hardly exists anymore, and Flora is more of a pushover than ever and gets insanely jealous every time Helia as so much looks at another girl
Something I don’t get is that when Flora got her Enchantix, the Trix were transformed into their younger selves. Icy’s look contradicts what we’re shown in her backstory. Also, when the Trix were in their younger forms, they didn’t know what each other looked like, so that proves they weren’t biological siblings.
Honestly, i wish us fans could get the license and rewrite and redesign the whole show because it was both good enough to succeed and bad enough that you were mostly disappointed. I know so many creators already tried to rewrite it, and make some new plot or content that we actually wanted to see. I personally as an artist would also try to design the art style differently because the more i grew up the more i disliked the weird proportions they had. I now see them as elongated isnect like creatures...and I watch anime. Like basically even anime have way better proportions and most of the body there is rather realistic while the face is just a bit bigger than normally would be. Like I still liked the Winxshow but with time I started to hate it with its indecisive and messed-up storytelling. It seemed slightly half done all the time or just done badly. It had so many plot holes that you got lost very fast and at some point, I didn't know what we were even doing in the story. Like there was no clear reason as to why I'm watching the show other than for the transformation sequences. One point my sister hated and to be honest I didn't even know I also had a problem with it was the fighting scenes. Everyone would stay put and the fight would go one by one. Now that we play DnD it actually feels like the fighting scenes were of dnd. Like do you remember? Things like Musa doing a spell, others standing, Musa hitting the witch and she does a spell back, hits Musa and then flora goes like: noooo musaaaaaa. Like instead of things happening at the same time. Like I understand the animation here in the EU was still a bit clunky but other studios around the world already got a grip on animation by then. The story never ended, never had a clear point, and even the relationship drama felt like a soap opera... Like does anyone else agree the fans should team up and remake the whole thing? It's not the first time the fans did a better job. Successful fan remakes I know of MLP and Sheera.
Honestly, the Winx staff should have continued to do season 3 of WoW, it was such a good show! Instead they decided to make the disaster that was drastically changing the art style of the 8th season of the main cartoon
WOW WAS SO MUCH BETTER THAN S7 AND ALL OF THAT. i loved the plot and loved that cliffhanger. really wish we got more of that instead of that mess called seaosn 8
I don't remember where, but there was a video on youtube that touched on the initial plans for the Winx Club series to only run for the first 3 seasons with the 1st movie being the epic conclusion and season 4 serving as an epilogue of sorts. But because of the series' popularity and the increase in toy sales, they had to extend the plot. I grew up watching and loving the 4kids! Dubb and never got to watching the nickelodeon version after they obtained the rights.
I honestly love Diaspro from seasons 1-3. She WAS wronged. She did wrong, but she was wronged and nothing was done to make up for that. It would’ve been great to go into the struggles she had growing up being raised to be queen then the emotional turmoil of being jilted. Finally an arc when she makes up for what she did.
i must make a comment on valtor, he was one of the best villains in the show, he had amazing power and had somewhat a lot of patience, especially compared to all the other villains. i hate how when they brought him back in season 8, they made him look weak. in season 3, valtor would go out by himself and steal spells and he had very good plans which he succeeded in most. in season 8, his plans failed in every episode, and he used this small stupid creature to get what he wanted. he just seemed to lack the potential he had in season 3.
I remember loving this show, 1-3 seasons were the best and I hadn't mind some inconsistencies before (for example later appearance of wizards seems just to be made to keep the plot going and that's okay or I have never needed a reason for destruction of Domino/Sparks ) What really bothers me, is the fact that current creators don't seem to care about original audience, in a way that "they grew out of it and kids don't care" and Rainbow just wants to sell toys. I guess that's why the plot gets shallower and more childish every season which is the saddest thing ever :( I think the decline begins with season 5, which is incredibly Bloom-centered and I guess from season 5 on Tecna hasn't been the only one, who needs personality...
One thing that always bothered me is the fact that the winx have been fairies their WHOLE life BUT most of the time they can only transform when bloom is in the scene other then that they get beat up until she shows up. I don't know but that has always been annoying to me like come ooooon do something.
In Winx, I’ve always wanted to see the girls pass more time on their own planet. Mostly Aisha and Stella who will become queen of those planets… Why is there no plot with this? They are futur queens and they are barely preparing for it…
I'm rewatching winx and I just finished 4th season and boy was I confused and disappointed with ending. Like, they really wanted to stay on Earth just to have the band and shop, bfr😃
A lot to choose from, but here: -What happened to Stella’s ring?! I thought it was supposed to be an extremely powerful object! Super mad it didn’t evolve when she got Enchantix! -Why was Stella on Earth in S1? Sadly its never said how she got ambushed by Knut so hard she managed to get knocked into a different dimension entirely. Maybe she was about to teleport to Alphea and in mid spell Knut somehow messed the spell up? -When Faragonda says no one knows what happened to Oritel and Miriam after they defeated Baltor, how did Hogan see them battling against the Ancestresses? Or why isn’t Hogan ever mentioned before the movie, just pretty random imo -When Morgana was caught, she said she had been imprisoned for centuries. Even if she wasn’t actually imprisoned that long, this literally makes it look like she deserted her kingdom and subjects because she wanted to be “normal” which makes it look like she wanted her own happiness more than protecting her fairies to the bitter end -Selina somehow had magic in her. Why isn’t ever mentioned the Black Circle attempted to catch her but could because she wasn’t the fairy they wanted. It’s never even explained where her powers came from or even what they are -S5 when the Winx are confronted by the mutants, why didn’t they attempt to use their Enchantix fairy dust to heal and break Tritannus’s control? Instead we rely on a stupid sword that only heals Narrius and Trista that literally doesn’t do anything else. So much for being extremely powerful in the ocean -Sirenix. When the Winx open the book it literally warned them its a dangerous form before continuing. Why don’t we ever see them having problems controlling their powers or it kinda backfiring at times because in a way its so powerful it’s unstable or something -Daphne’s nymph form. When she was stupidly resurrected, we never got to see her most common form ever again. I always assumed it was her fairy form, just without wings. Also why were the Ancestresses interested in the Infinite Ocean again? -Secret of the Lost Kingdom. I thought Oritel and Miriam disappeared after banishing Baltor in Omega? Why don’t we get to see that battle?! Also in the movie we clearly see Faragonda fighting alongside them trying to force the Ancestresses into Obsidian, why did she lie to Bloom? Also considering Baltor had a spark of the Dragon Flame, why the f*ck didn’t they use that or even the Shadow Fire (Lord Darkar) to activate the Army of Decay against Sparx (Domino) and how the f*ck did the entire population of Sparx get sucked into Obsidian? I thought anyone who was caught, in the dimension so dark even the witches feared getting trapped there, was doomed to be lost to the eternal darkness? -With Bloomix, how the f*ck is the freaking Dragon Flame all of a sudden criminally weak against freshman witches?! Also how the hell did Selina even know what the DF was or it was powerful enough to free Acheron? Or my favorite part, how the h*ll did it only take her one time to casually grab a piece of the DF without it burning her, when it took the Trix’s Whisperian Crystals and several attempts to yank it out of Bloom? Also why the f*ck didn’t the Winx get dragon spells like the Trix did in S1?! There’s much more, especially S4
the form of Daphne we got used to is two of one in Magic Nymphs are creatures with a form between a Fairy and a Siren the Guardian Nymph wore the Golden Crystal Mask just like her
Speaking of Selina: Where was she during S4?! Feels like they just invented her literally for the sake of her starring season, without any thought or care for prior seasons.
@@shriyaathaker yes that’s her witch powers Acheron gave her. I said FAIRY powers, aside nature magic from Eldora. We don’t even get to see her Magic Winx form either! Selina’s witch snake powers disappeared when Acheron and the Legendarium were locked forever. NGL I actually kinda wanted Selina to become a freshman fairy at Alphea
Yeah and with the whole Domino thing, it’s like ~implied~ (maybe more explicitly somewhere, but that’s a lot of research I personally have not taken the time for) that the whole fall of Domino and the invasion of the Ancestral Witches happened a WHILE ago, seeing as the 3 school headmasters look young as hell as members of the Company of Light. But then Bloom is only like 16-18 during season 1 when it’s probably been a few hundred years since the fall of Domino
Yep, that's retcons for ya. They had to change certain details to fit whatever new ideas they came up with, such as bringing Daphne back from the dead & pretending she was supposed to be alive the whole time, as well as making her *much* younger in later seasons.
Something else that also confused me were the schools, in s1 Stella tells bloom that red fountain, alfea, and cloud tower were the only magic schools in the entire magical dimension, but in s3 Chimera is said to go to some other prestigious academy and as shown in the video there is a fairy college in Lymphea, I also believe Diaspro went to a school but I don’t think it was ever said in the show. I’m pretty sure Stella might have mean’t only in magix instead of the whole magical dimension, but from my memory I remember her saying the entire magical dimension.
@@phcnixs she got held back. It literally says in the second episode of S1 she destroyed the potion lab with an unauthorized spell and apparently it was so devastating the potion lab wasn’t even cleaned or ready before the next school year. I’m assuming she was immediately expelled because Ms Griselda makes the comment about Alphea actually reenrolling her as a student again
The 4Kids made Alphea more as a prestigious school mostly princesses or rich girls attended. Diaspro I think in the Rai actually disses Alphea. But yes in S3 Chimera goes to a less popular school Beta Academy (Alphea is Alpha as is #1) I think part of the goofup is Winx Club wasn’t meant to go past S3. So again its a problem 4Kids avoided by changing the dialogue, similar to how Red Fountain is supposed to be a wizard school, but it’s obvious in every season the boys don’t have any powers and rely on hand to hand combat and advanced technology to fight
I loved Valtor in season 3 and actually wished he would come back, but written properly and not surrounded by all these subpar elements! Can anyone recommend some good fanfiction where he comes back? Also, I was so mad Layla didn't use her wish to bring Nabo back!
@kingdomorange2 magical adventure is actually meant to be placed after season 3 and before season 4 after the events of secrets of the lost kingdom. Apparently the writers revealed believix early to "spice things up" in the movie because they assumed fans would be bored of enchantix. This is a really sad thing because it reveals the issues with power creep in the show all because the writers thought fans would be more entertained by constantly changing forms rather then sticking to a consistent lore.
At the end of the day, it’s all about marketing and promotion. They wanted to cash in on the hype smh. And now we have iffy world-building and inconsistent plots! Woo!
Just some things about your plotholes 1.) first and MOST important, they ruined Daphnes story with season 5. fall of domino doesn’t add up at all anymore - we see daphne trying to use Sirenix but failing IN the papalce for that one shot - next time she’s in the infinite ocean with polities fighting the witches - makes 0 sense since they fought on domino and after facing Daphne, they faced the company of light. Sirenix or daphne obtaining sirenix however is not the problem here, remember she was a nymph so it might have been obligatory to earn sirenix to be one - non the less, Fall of domino should have been left out of „quest for sirenix“ storyline. 2.) their wishes were not to bad tbh, I loved seeing daphne as human (although season 6 proved me otherwise) but the wish was good I agree, Aisha’s wish came out of situation and for a second you could see her being disappointed to use her wish that way, For Stella’s I was happy she wasn’t able to just „make“ her parents fall in love, that would have been simply unnatural and I loved that her parents weren’t a happy couple - not all people are. Tecna used her wish they way we wanted - just for her whole nation and for musa…I agree that they simply forgot her at the end😂there should have been Atleast closure as to why she doesn’t want to use her well deserved wish. 3.) I don’t recall Faragonda saying that as fairies get older their transformation starts fading? And not to forget, earth fairies are special kind of fairies so they live by other rules regardless. 4.) WOW is in an alternative timeline as confimed - and yes the comics may start right after season 7 HOWEVER comics are not canon either…now Roxy was simply Fan Service we know that and since the show didn’t have enough time to explore this „alternate timeline“ we‘ll probably never know how the Winx find out about Roxy here. 5.) now to my favorite controversy - the Trix‘s heritage. Again no comment about them being from a frozen world in the comics - since they are not canon, as is not the 4Kids dub which calls them biological sister lots of times. Iginio did that interview when first describing the trix, since then I think lots of things changed. First and foremost the trix‘s link to the ancestral witches, well they all relate to one ancestral witch (those three, beings of evil are probably sisters) and then each had children, ancestors etc. from which each of the Trix‘s families come from - so I presume the trix are related however not biological sisters, otherwise the link to the ancestors doesn’t add up. While watching season 8 I didn’t feel like Darcy & stormy didn’t know about icy not being their biological sister, they were just shocked to hear icy's full story - to back that up with some evidence from the show; the trix didn’t know how they looked as children. As they were dunked into that reverse running water in linphea they each got younger and when coming out of the water - icy was quite irritated about darc‘s look & hair back then and makes a snare comment about it because she didn’t know her as a child. So for me it’s clear that the trix are definitely related - each one being linked to the ancestral witch looking most similar to them but they met later on in life
Musa's was technically explained through the implication that her wish would be to bring her mom back but magic shouldn't be used for that. The implication is also there for Aisha (though not so blatantly) because she was able to bring back Nereus since he was still alive but Nabu is in a "coma" (Nickelodeon's word for dead apparently) and cannot be revived.
One of the things I found confusing/annoying and making no sense at all is how they've never once used Charmix power up in season three, and how their original transformation in this season appeared to be much weaker than in the previous two seasons. And similarly Enchantix in season 4, then Believix in season 5 and so on, are even weaker, to justify the need to obtain whatever is the new transformation for current season.
The thing about canon with winx is that season 1-4 are one universe but after nick started working in winx they reduce the first two seasons in 4 special changing the plot and redubbing seasons 3 and 4 in their canon too, so everything after season 5 is in nick canon and rules, like a soft reboot, and don't really afect the original series, which was so good before nick seasons...
@@ricardomoseley no. As many times as the characters have fell( harshly) been hit into trees, buildings, floors, you mean to tell me humans wouldn’t be in some type of coma or anything around that nature?
As a huge fan of Winx, I also have many other questions: -Why did Tecna and Musa's Pixies suddenly change in season 6? -Why didn't Winx use Charmix in season 3? -Didn't Sky become the king of Eraklyon in the first movie? Because in season 5 he appears to be prince again. -What is Trix's fate between 3rd and 4th season? Weren't they brought again to Roccaluce? Even if Magical Adventure was produced with Enchantix, how did the Trix come back and how were they condamned to Andros? -Wasn't Enchantix supposed to be the final transformation, as Faragonda said? -How did the Winx manage to use older transformations in season 8? It just doesn't make sense for 2 reasons: they could have used them several times in previous season and they're also weaker than Cosmix. -In the first movie, the girls graduate... but then they come back to Alfea as students much later. -Wasn't Daphne supposed to be one of the strongest fairies? She sacrifices herself to save Bloom when her kingdom was destroyed... but she's too afraid to fight an octopus in episode 1 of season 6. -The entire season 8... please... everything wrong with it. Valtor's return, the Sparks, Alfea's labyrinth under the water well, too (un)funny moments just to fill the episode up. -The Specials... the 45 minutes movies to sum up the first 2 seasons: poor animations (only the transformation is decent) and modiefied plot, especially for the 4th one. -From season 4, the girls are just known as the Winx, let me explain. In the first 3 seasons, the girls are individually important and thanx to all of them, great golas have been reached. From season 4, they just move as a group with Bloom as the leadership; important goals and discoveries for the plot are only made by Bloom or the entire group. -Why is Stella annoying from season 5 to season 8 and, especially, in the third movie? She's only obsessed with style and clothes and rarely serious. In season 1-2-3 she's more genuine. -Just the fact that, from season 5, the show starts to be a cartoon for just kids with no important values or lessons or serious issues and covesations. -In season 4, weren't humans supposed to believe in faries again thanx to Winx's help? Why would the girls hide their fairies identities in WoW if humans, consequently from season 4, believe in their existance? -Where did the Selkies go after season 5? -What happened to Love & Pets after season 4? They get abandoned? Same for Selkies and Fairy Animals. -This one is an opinion: I believe that the Winx band is one of the most useless thing in the show, it's just used to fill episodes up. -In season 1, Faragonda says Alfea is the only existing school of fairies in the entire Magix Dimention. But then other fairies schools appear. So, is Alfea the only one in Magix or is Magix considered another planet in the magic dimention? -How do the fairies already transform and can fight and use magic already at the beginning of their year at Alfea? -In season 1, Griselda says the school lasts 5 years but then they graduate after 3. -Why don't Winx use Speedix, Zoomix and Trecix for their Believix form in season 5? -Where did Roy go? -If Lucy is a Cloudtower student, where is she in season 5? -What happened to Knut, Pepe and Mirta? -What is Roxy's transformation? Believix? Quite strange for a first fairy form. -Where do the Mythix wands and the Tynix bracelets go after seasons 6 and 7? They're powerful items! -Where did Professor Avalon go? We can see some photages of him in season 3 and the first movie, but then? -It's obvious that everything starts to be wrong form season 5, you all finish the puzzle hahaha.
Ultimate doesn’t make sense to me is the fact that even after years later on the winx are the only students that achieve an upgraded fairy form, like none of the other students, background characters in general not even ROXY! who’s been on the show since season 4 (even tho she’s barely been seen), has gotten an upgrade their all just staying in charmix-you’re telling me the winx are the only ones that are achieving Enchantix, like we see no other fairy with it
Diaspro was done so dirty by the writers; like she started out pretty reasonablely not liking Bloom because she was dating Sky who, at the time was engaged to her, as in he'd already proposed and instead of having her be rightfully angry that she was lied to, cheated on and publicly had her engagement broken off when she clearly really liked Sky they turned her into some kind of harpy woman, desperately trying to get back together with said lying cheater. I know she had a bit of an attitude problem at first but come on, she did not deserve what happened to her.
7:44 Aisha wishing for this makes far more sense than bringing Nabu back. It would literally render the last half of S4 useless and would seem like they tried to retcon the story again.
Might I add that I think that Alfea must be hell as expensive? Stella and the girl Bloom substituted, princesses, Aisha, princess, Tecna comes from a more than well off family, Musa might have entered by her father's favors OR someone who owed her princess of a mother, and while I dont know about flora, fact is that she might have been (her or musa) the only ones that had a scholarship with exception of bloom who personally I think Stella possibly covered and her family would be like "if you are still friends by the end of schooling" or something regarding payment. Best premier education money Flora and tecna probably are the only ones not princesses or depended from. Im mad that in the new seasons nobody did anything regarding maternal relatives, they did not have to put anything about the mother per say but a grandmother's cousin from mother side of Musa's own mother would have been mad.
I‘ve literally watched everything until Season 4. My fairy fans here know that season 3 and the first movie were meant to be the end of this magical adventure. And honestly… when I‘ve watched season 5, I already knew most of the stuff since I‘ve been reading fanfictions since season 4 ended. Plus: in the 2nd movie - Sky proposed to Bloom! … again?
Something that bothers me extreamly. The Winx graduated at the end of season 3, they were reinvited to alfea as teachers in season 4... They are students in season 5?.... And the whole, sky proposed to bloom, everyone knows.... And forgot about it. It seems like the Winx don't age or even worse get younger after some seasons. In the second film it's stated that bloom is 18, that would be around season 4. She doesn't feel like 18/19 in season 5.
i have a theory about icy and her sister/s When Icy lost her home I get the impression that she was 16 at the time... (don't know about anyone else) but this makes her still dependant of her parents. When she lost her home and her family, she wouldn't have somewhere to call home. Maybe Darcy and Stormy are twins and they (along with their parents possibly) adopted Icy who could have a birthday near the 5th of May so they chose to share birthdays (or conveniently Icy has the same birthday) and because of how close they became and everything they went through together Icy ended up having to remind Darcy and Stormy they she isn't actually related to them. Or since it was actually confirmed they were triplets, everyone at Rainbow just chose to confuse us more than we already were. But at least we get why Icy is the only female character we see wear a cape frequently), signifying that she is actually royalty. I also think that Icy was a fairy. Sapphire said that their mother doesn't talk to witches, We don't see Icy fly down those pink rocks, which as a witch she would have. Icy then said that she will become a stronger witch that the one that destroyed Dyamond (which could also mean nothing). Either way Icy is the first known witch to be a royal. Also. Any ideas about how Faragonda can fly without wings. We know Bloom can and it's obvious that Bloom uses some kind of spell... But we don't see the same with Faragonda. Any thoughts?
I didn't understand the season 5 powers, since in earlier seasons in their regular fairy forms they used their powers underwater and they seemed to do a good amount of damage to their opponent but now in season 5 they have to obtain Sirenix and Harmonix in order to use them underwater or make their powers more effective?? The answer is obvious to why they did it , to make toys out of those forms and such, but still it really bugs me.
All about money, considering Winx Club is literally the only production that is still keeping Rainbow Studios alive. Same problem with Magical Adventure, it takes place before S2 and Enchantix was supposed to be used which literally fixes every plot hole. But Rainbow got greedy and thought promoting Believix would sell more toys and merch so sadly Believix got used instead
Someone mentioned this in the comments, but World of Winx is a spin-off series for a older audience (I’m guessing for the teens/adults that grew up with Winx Club.) It’s set in a alternative universe so things make much more sense when writing the series. Also, I believe after or during season 4 Nickelodeon took over production of the series, which would explain the huge plot holes and issues in the story.
Honestly Winx Club was my childhood and hearing this after years of not watching makes me question the absolute logic of this, lore wise, I watched a bit of Season 1 and 2 and some of Season 3 and I think all of Season 4. After that I'm just confused on what happened after and season 6-8 confused me purely cause I was lost
at the sirenix wish, i actually like how instead of wish her parents to be together again (it like asking a genie to make some fall in love with them, doesn't that violate their free will?) , she wish they understand emotions more so if they actually still love each other they get back together naturally, if she did wish that, won't that be no better then them drinking love potion? you may think you love them but what is actually your true emotions and what is fabricated by the magic
Despite being the best season, season 3 made some inconsistencies in the timeline. The first movie eventually made it more blurry, making the fall of Domino conflict with Bloom's age(Domino disappeared around 2000 years ago i think they said but Bloom is around 17 this time). Season 4 made similar inconsistencies. Season 5 onward ditched all lore and explaination. Treat it as a fever dream you'll probably appriciate it more that way. Idk about WoW
Here's another plot hole from season 7: why did Kalshara and Brafilius took 100 years to do anything?! We know they both turned themselves into hybrids 100 years ago when the Winx went back in time to save the DigMoles, but it took them 100 years to find another DigMole for their "grand master plan".
What I find confusing: In season four the girls became teachers (for like a day), but every season after that they're students again... What? Also, in season 8, Sky looks ten (even though he's 22/23). My reasoning for Silena and Eldora: Silena was like Bloom, a fairy just sent to earth or whatever. A fairy godmother is a fairy who keeps her fairy form when older
7:04 why couldn’t they have just done it like Hocus Pocus? The 3 sisters witches actually had a 4th sister (in the book) and she was a good witch, should’ve just did that made the trip triplets who planned to become the most powerful witches in the world in order to save their 4th little sister 7:40 to be fair just cause she wishes them back together doesn’t mean they’ll suddenly start being friendly with each other all the time, I feel like that whole “be careful what you wish for” thing comes into play, I feel like wishing I feel like wishing they understood their feelings is way better it’ll cause them not to fight all the time 9:01 they need to just let Diaspro move on already! Like let this girl just move on and find another guy already-any time diaspro came back on the show after drugging sky in S3 she don’t even seem interested in Sky anymore I think she just wants to mess with Bloom
About Daphne choosing to have Sirenix is very simple, in the official book (I don't remember the name in Italian but the translation is Guide To The Magical World) it is written that Sirenix is the most powerful transformation so, sense is what she prefers to prefer Sirenix .
There was a time when Enchantix was a fairy's most powerful form, I guess it got shifted to Sirenix or whatever as they kept adding seasons to the show
We all know Enchantix is the most powerful form. Sirenix’s special ability is only letting them into a secret dimension (aside being more powerful underwater) I mean in the comics Enchantix got an underwater form too! Why didn’t that get used in the animation?
@@kristinahuchison2511 Sirenix is indeed the most powerful transformation until Rai says no and against facts there are no arguments. The book is totally official. I don't know if you've heard of script changes and retcanons.
@@qualquercoisaporaqui6713 um, they can’t even use fairy dust with Sirenix. I’m not kidding even Bloomix most of them only got like 2 spells (looking at you Musa) and it doesn’t have any special abilities aside “our powers can’t be stolen again” 🙄 to me and most fans Enchantix remains the queen of transformations. They went from majestic, mature yet powerful and sexy fairies to dancers and cheerleaders in Believix
My thoughts about how the black circle released from just open the paintings are most likely they were trapped in it to prevent any other people removing their powers and because Bloom open the blind behind them ,were released
It actually would've been better if they didn't give Icy that tragic backstory and they let Icy, stormy, and Darcy be actual triplets mostly because it made sense Three triplets that have been together and have a very strong sisters bond, you know sweet villain things instead of a tragic backstory. Not all villain needs a tragic story, only if it actually necessary, Icy backstory was not necessary nor was the announcement of them being not actual sisters. If some get me I'm sorry if some don't I don't know how to explain it correctly. Also fuck you Netflix you cancel a show that I was getting interested....I really want another season for world of Winx man.
Just realizing that they could have easily written in that The Ancestral Witches had hidden in the Infinite Ocean for their attack on Domino. And that would be why Daphne had it in an attempt to keep them out of Domino.
Personally, I have two things.... Seasons 1-5 were the best as they were understood and able to be followed plot wise, and although there were a few things that felt like they needed a touch-up, they still held up. A lot of people dont rven fully like s5 but i didnt find it that bad because it still held some weight and was fun and kept a storyline going without being terribly redundant. Season 6 is tolerable for me because of the way the explore some of the girls backgrounds and home planets, etc. I also dont mind the character Selena cause she made things a bit interesting. But when you go further you realize things like the fact that they graduated and became teachers only to later become students again? I thought that because they were like the OGS and the ones that directly learned from mistress faragonda, their conclusion was perfect as teachers and then them going off on missions, etc together. Also, season 6 was the last season that felt like it actually was about the winx(even though there were def some bloom-centric things about it). Season 7 was boring and just didn't seem to hold any weight and just became all over the place and even though it included the trix, it didn't make any sense. The trix didn't even have a set reason for being there? They were basically wrapped up at the end of season 6 when they were trapped in the legendarium so why make them come back without a definite cause. Then they should have made Season 8 some type of kiddy spinoff because it still being a part of the show doesn't make sense for the audience that grew up with winx. And like another comment said the trix getting some type of sappy backstory really ruins the character because the trix weren't meant for that. They've always wanted power and to be the best, etc so they didn't need a reason in the first place. I could never actually hate winx as that's what i grew up with but it really went downhill after a while.
I think every fan of the original series wanted the Winx Club members to continue growing like young adults after season 4 instead of stagnating and acting like little girls forever. Also the specialists deserved their own little arc.
All I can is that the only great seasons for me were from Season 1 to season 4... Season 5 was good with but, really it still has that 'WINX energy feel' that I enjoy from the previous seasons... But from then on...it just feels like a kids fairy tv series. It lost all of those...things I like from WINX. Villains became a joke (not like Darkar or even Valtor, and the Trix became....meh) Diaspro appearing after the event of S3 was not needed and a bad drama... Was a bit dissapointed with how Daphne became but still glad she got her happy end and I still see her as a great character, she just lost all of those mystical feel I got from her And yes the Roxy part...really sad she didn't get much more recognition in S7 when it is about ANIMALS n she is technically the fairy of ANIMALS
i am currently rewatching winx club after so many years and imo i kinda wish they did some more with the villains yk? like especially the fairy hunters, im not finished w season 4 but like one thing i kind of hoped for was maybe the fairy hunters ACTUALLY did something, like they keep saying “let’s deal with them, let’s steal their wings” but never do when they have multiple chances to do so. when the fairy hunters first show up, they defeat Flora easily and she’s alone for a while, like we can say in the time it takes to get the winx to come, why don’t the fairy hunters like… maybe take flora’s wings?? when they have the chance TO? and somehow it doesn’t feel like it makes sense that they couldn’t get Bloom??? like just because she isn’t the last earth fairy or is there something else that stops it like the fairy hunters have to be like “we’re getting the last earth fairy” oh no this isn’t it the circle doesn’t want it o.o bloom’s still a fairy tho?? and when Roxy got given the white circle later on, Bloom was literally not with the others of winx, had the chance to get her wings so why not??? like i think it would have been interesting and exciting to like maybe see something happen to winx like with their magic, wings etc that they would have to work hard to see id they could actually do something about like maybe they’d have to actually defeat the fairy hunters to restore the wings, just like something
My favourites are Winx Club Series are Season 5, Season 6 and Season 7 because I do love the improvement of characters designs, voices and beautiful colour scenery and the stories continue to where Winx Club Season 4 left off too thanks to Nickelodeon. Although I still wished some of the episodes improve a bit especially that some characters that never made sense or explained: 1.Politea only appear in one episode with no speaking voice however she does appear again in the third Winx Club movie with her speaking voice. But we don't know any of Politea's backstory except that she was once Daphne's friend and a Sirenix fairy but still don't understand why she betrayed Daphne in the first place before she too was curse by the ancestral witches. 2.Princess Krystal has appeared in some episodes back in season 5 but only appeared once in season 6 but never been seen again after that. I mean if Princess Krystal a new student at Alfea along with Roxy then at least try to get she seen more especially that we never got to see her fairy form tranformation. 3.Diaspro return in Season 5 despite that she was suppose to be banished from Erakyon after Season 3 which never made sense. What's bother me is that Sky's parents turn deaf ear as if they have forgotten a everything that happened back in season 3 never really happened. In Season 6 Diaspro attending Erakylon Institute which never been explain why she's there. But I have to be honest but Diaspro's return is a big disappointedas she only appear in two episodes and then disappear for the rest of the season. I really don't understand the point of this Diaspro being involved in "The Golden Auditorium" and "Vortex of Flames", I mean Diaspro team up with the Trix after they conqued Eraklyon Institute and I thought of the time that we get to see more of Diaspro in the entire season 6 but unfortunely that never really happen. Because after Diaspro throw Bloom to the fire pit and then she suddenly disappeared after the confront with Bloom's sister Daphne and never been seen after this which doesn't really make sense. If she was serious about becoming the Trix's allied then we would have seem more of Diaspro at Cloud Tower along with Lazuli,Jade and Rhody and the rest of the Cloud Tower Elite. 4.Lazuli,Jade and Rhody were once Fairies from Eraklyon Institute before they decided to enrole at Cloud Tower and join the Trix as the Cloud Tower Elite. But after the Trix were locked away in the Legendarium book, Head Mistress Griffin return to take over the school again which leave me a big question like were Lazuli,Jade and Rhody were accepted into Cloud Tower at the end of the episode or have they given up and return to Eraklyon Institute to become fairies again like Selena? Because I would liked to know what becomes of them since they're never seen again as none of the reappear in Season 8 episode 16. 5.Roy appear back in Season 5 and return in Season 6 but I've notice during the whole series that Roy has been competing with Nex for Aisha's affection. In episode 15 he was ignored by Aisha as she and Nex share little bonding while surfing to the island. I can't believe the other Winx Club and Specialist haven't notice this situation because if they have then they would have done something about this. What even more strange is that at end of episode 24 Roy hasn't appear in episodes 25 and 26 finale of Season 6 and never been seen again which doesn't make sense at all. I would liked to fix the ending of Season 6 finale as Roy now knows that Aisha have feelings for Nex and decided to ending his rival by annoucing to everyone at Thorne and Daphne's wedding that he's leaving the group to return to Andros. That would make a better exit for Roy's final appearence in the series. 7. Roxy play a very important role in season 7 of saving the magical animals. But in episode 3 she was the only one who haven't earn Butterflix despite helping the winx club which is very disappointed to me as she earn the right to have a brand new fairy form as well as having her bond with her own fairy animal and earn her Typnix too. I would liked to fix the entire episodes by making Roxy earn her Butterflix along with her friends the Winx and still keep the time stone. Then later in the episode after Bloom bonded with Elas, Roxy will bond with a fairy animal of her own like maybe a Dolphin or a Deer in the next episode before Roxy and her friends will have the Tynix Powers.
There is no improvements! Nickelodeon destroyed Winx Club, copypasted clothes, bad villains, childish plot, they acting like 5-years old, horrible transformation sequences! Do you want me to continue? There is no way Nickelodeon Winx is better than Original Winx + S8
@@kkerakkii1147 Precisely, Winx Club season five, six, seven and eight are completely trash. That's why we want the 4Kids company and the 4Kids voice actors back.
@@sagittariusseiya8310 S8 is not trash, well artstyle is weird, but as a season, it's a big improvement and step forward compared to Nickelodeon seasons
My biggest issue is the fact that Daphne died saving Bloom. How the hell can she be fighting some sea monster at the bottom of the ocean if she's saving the PLOT ESSENTIAL CHARACTER?
"Winx Club doesn't want its viewers to buy dolls." That's where you are wrong, kiddo. Or at least it once was primarily about the show and story. Dolls where just merch, up until S3/S4. From then on, the show was there only to advertise toys. It's the same degeneration Barbie movies went through.
I can explain everything with one explanation: Winx was supposed to last 3 seasons only, later they tried with season 4, and since their main target were children they thought that the new generation wouldn't have bothered or even noticed the discrepancies, nor they taught children 10+ would have kept watching winx. They tried to milk out of the show with new seasons full of plot holes, the writers didn't watch (or didn't care) to fill the plot, and here we go. This also explain that Fate: The Winx Saga. A total mess.
male fairies do exist in the Winx Club universe given what the magical dimension provides and how advanced it is there roles are probably similar to specialist wizards and sorcerers with this its safe to assume they rarely transform if ever.
Technically I think male fairies actually exist, considering in the movie after Sparx/Domino is restored there’s a guy with long and thin green wings. There’s probably a school for girls who want to be specialists instead that simply isn’t mentioned. Red Fountain specialists don’t have powers except for Headmaster Saladin and Helia (he’s his nephew or grandson) honestly I would’ve loved for Helia to become a wizard in S5 considering he does use magic sometimes
@@susanbones3381 he’s Saladin’s grandson. Saladin is a wizard so I assume Helia can use magic too, just chooses not to. There’s a couple episodes he uses magic with his origami in S6 and S7. Unless he uses magical paper, I always assumed it was Helia using magic to make origami cranes and they fly.
@@kristinahuchison2511 I didn't think about that. It happens when he sends Flora the picture he made of her in season 2 as well. You're right, he actually might have powers. Too bad they never do anything to tell us for sure.
Why does every season introduce small companions for the Winx and then never use them again? 1,2 - Pixies 4 - Fairy Pets 5 - guardian water of different water dimensions 6 - Ig pixies again, but not really 7 - Fairy Animals Every season has new fairy creatures, but other than the pixes it's pretty shallow. Also Season 4 has the Winx establishing a business. What happened to that? This was before the Earth faries were introduced so who was running the store when they left for Alfea?
What's the most confusing about the fall of Domino is the timeline. Sometimes it's said to have happened thousands of years ago but again Bloom is only 16? It's very confusing. Kind of the same with the Earth Fairies.
Personally I also think miele in season 3 is 6 o 7 years old. On winx club wiki it says that season 3 of winx club take place in 2006 so season 6 take place in 2009 and Miele should be 9 or 10
That's good to consider (good point, good point.) That, _and if we have to consider this..Either I'm a little bit concerned/conflicted here by this,or the fact that these Fae/Alien-Fairies-from other planets/worlds,mind you..-probably-and I think PROBABLY,just to be certain-age like,REALLY fast than regular humans/humanoid beings here, mind you...They DO come from other planets/fairy worlds,y'know...?_
With bloom bringing back daphne in season 5. Bloom didn't wish for daphne to be bring back, she wish for the curse to be lifted which wasn't just daphne but the sirenix curse in general. So bloom chose to save everyone who sought or had sirenix. It would just have saved her sister too.
About Eldora and Selina, I think the reason why the Black Circle never chased them is because they’re only after pureblood Earth fairies. Roxy is a pureblood like Morgana. In the flashbacks of Selina’s young life, she was a normal human, making her a halfblood. The Black Circle for some reason can’t hunt half bloods.
3:43 from what i understood, the wizards were in the hall of enchantment because there it had the biggest threats that the magical dimension has ever fought against, they were not actually in the portrait, i think the image glowing is like a hint that soon we would meet them. They arrived at Alfea because they may have heard about bloom being the last fairy of earth. What to me it doesn't make sense at all for them to not know with their powers that bloom is actually princess of domino after all the events from the first movie.Probably the entire magical dimension ended knowing that the long lost kingdom of domino was saved by the famous winx, which includes bloom
Its still super random. Like Bloom was literally crowned crown princess of Sparx, so why did the Wizards choose to attack her anyway? If anything with Selina, why doesn’t it confirm she was attacked by them as well before S1, she doesn’t know who they were and they let her go because she wasn’t the fairy they were after, and that’s when Eldora tells her the truth? It does also lead to questions about why the Wizards didn’t check Bloom or Stella because both could use magic in S1? They don’t know Stella isn’t an earthling.
@Will N it never says when Selina became a witch. Im still very bitter we never got a confirmation the WBC attempted to catch her, but they couldn’t because she wasn’t the fairy they wanted. Plus apparently Eldora didn’t know there were fairy hunters on the prowl either
I don't think the Trix considered each other their biological sisters. In Winx Club Lore Witches rarely ever worked together due to the nature of their magic (The Negative Aspect) for fear they would betray one another. Since the only known actually covens are the Trix, and the their ancestors the Ancestral Witches, it's not that hard to believe that their level of trust, and loyalty to one another would count as sisterhood.
Feel free to explain your thoughts, theories, and future questions you have on the show! Definitely already working on a Part 2!
"In my opinion" i think Believix is the weakest level , I know Believix have advantages such as speedix, Zoomix and tracix , but I mean as a strength it is weak and did not hurt much the wizard of the black circle . I was hoping for a lot of this level but it disappointed me
And i now Believix outfits look amazing
Why haven’t Roxy or merda evolved or achieved a new fairy level or any other side characters that made an appearance like emerald
It's the believix power that does work underwater well she could use magic underwater in her base form
Everyone forgets Stella is the sun AND moon fairy meaning she should also have shadow powers on top of light powers
Edit: One common thing I see is “the moon is just reflected sunlight” When I wrote down the idea I was mainly trying to get the gist down.

Ofc bloom has to have it all
@@Kairos_Akuma she can do that? I thought in order to achieve enchantix you had to save a person?

exactly, when they show daphne saving bloom by sending her to earth she looks like an adult or atleast a teenager - why can't winx be consistent with ages
ikr!
I think that is because she didn‘t age as a ghost

But I still miss her using her staff
in season 7 her bird Shinny ate it...

@@ShinoriDelfrim right ?!

Seasons 1-4 had unique appearances and song sequences for each character to represent their personalities and powers, Bloomix and Mythix being the last gasps of that unique-nesss as they all became copy-pastes of each other
I completely agree
Yeah.
But then again, Nickelodeon was focused on their sponge at the time. They didn't had time to rely on Winx Club, which the show was later quickly replaced by Sanjay and Craig and Breadwinners and moved to the Nick Jr channel (even though, said channel doesn't like violence.)
omg especially Sirenix and Butterflix 💀💀💀
@@ladycroftbayonetta7908 Daphne in her transparent body is much better than the normal Daphne in season 6
@@noorh798 sure
I hate that retcon, it's terrible writing. Only make Bloom look better.
Same! She was never meant to be alive and I truly feel resurrecting her took away her true role in the story. Not to mention her nymph form never reappears ever
I personally think the reason why Daphne obtained Sirenix was either:
1) A requirement to for a fairy to become a nymph, possibly explaining how she was able to survive long term underwater and why most nymphs we see live in bodies of water (This also explains why Politea has Sirenix too). or
2) As a nymph she needed or wanted Sirenix to travel and protect the magic dimension. or
3) Sirenix is just generally a more powerful form when compared to Enchantix and other possible transformations.
@Will N oh I like that
@Will N That, or it's just inconsistencies that they tried to make us forget about lol.
The show is BASED off of Bloom
@@LovetteKourt They will never understand it. Lol
Yeah but it doesn't make sense that Roxy is born in the modern age
I think that the sirenix is very weak, the only powerful thing is the special spells. But really after the enchantix no winx seems powerful anymore, the powers became generic and less related or similar to their elements.
It’s fun how in season 3 Stella said she could not wear the same dress two times, but in season 6 they wear the same flower dress many times
@Pål Moen She does that in every season.
However, it would have been better for Musa to be seen using her wish to maybe keep Melody safe or something, instead of simply being glossed over :/
This.
There's seriously a lot of wrong with wishing your divorced parents back together

Yes in season 3 when they fall into the water from the weeping willow (?) Icy commented on darcys hairstyle from the past

@@teresaesteves7872 and there is the fact that Diaspro got banned from Eraklyon so why did she return in the first place?
They fix that in the 4kids dub with Flora being the one to suggest getting pizza.
A couple things to note about inconsistencies in the show
1. Since season five and six were taken over by Nickelodeon the show became a lot more inconsistent with maintaining the plot
2. World of winx was indeed set in an alternate universe
3. Due to the fact season 4 came out before the second movie they used believex instead of enchantex to keep it “consistent “
4. Season 8 was a soft reboot. That’s why it doesn’t match up
5.season six is a disaster of plot holes and bad writing so don’t believe anything they tell you
Did I miss anything?
Nope! you pretty much nailed that!
season 6 was a total mess, i hate the fact that the girls went back to alfea and literally just graduated at first movie like wtftfftftftf (though, they actually mentioned that it should take 4 years if I remember correctly for them to graduate. if they didn't graduate at the first movie, it will be much more sense that they are still at alfea [not all seasons represents EACH year] and could be graduating at the end of s6 or s7)
Lots of things that were pretty consistent in the first four seasons nick tried to erase so they could use characters and plots to make new drama.
a few other things i disliked in winx:
1. in season 7, the trix were locked away in the infinity bird, but they somehow came back, unexplained and unquestioned in season 8.
2. in season 1 and 2, the winx had their own style that linked with their personality and ethnicity. especially musa, you could tell she was asian. however as the seasons went on, especially in seasons 5-8, their clothing became less diverse. they all seem to be wearing the same type of westernised clothing. in season 1, techna had her own suit with her transformation and in season 3, her fairy form was very apparent to her power, which was technology. if you show a picture of the winx club to a child from season 6, they probably wouldn’t be able to guess their powers or origins.
3. how the teachers all relied on the winx to save everyone. we know that bloom has the strongest power in the universe, and therefore is stronger / has more potential than anyone in the school including the teachers, but i feel like if you leave a task to defeat different evil creatures that have been around for centuries to a bunch of college students who could barely converge their powers in season 2 - well let’s face it, they were lucky to have beat their enemies. especially how most of their enemies have been around since like forever, like valtor, or LD. despite bloom being in charge of the dragon fire, we all know she hasn’t got the capabilities to use it fo the maximum, especially in earlier seasons. if that was the case, she could’ve easily beat all of the enemies that came her way because well she has the strongest power of the universe. that leads me on to my next point.
4. in season 1, we can really see how powerful bloom is as she uses it freely without any barriers. however in every other season, S2-8, she seems to have been weakened and can’t use her power at all. in early season 2 when they go to save the pixies, bloom fails to defeat icy stormy and darcy despite having the greatest power of all. she may not have mastered how to use the dragon fire but we clearly see that she’s holding back power as she fought more energetically in season 1.
5. similarly, as the seasons go on, the winx seem to get weaker and weaker. the strongest they were was in season 3 after obtaining enchantix, however, despite being stronger nkw, in seasons 4-8 they seem to have weakened their powers.
5. how self obsessed bloom is.

The whole Orlando-Musa thing felt like the whole Aisha-Roy situation.
I love helia, he is so the perfect guy for flora that’s one thing the creators didn’t mess up lol
@@Jada_Harper well they did male Flora treat him badly for a while
Before this video even starts, I’ll say my piece:
The timeline for Earth and Domino make no sense.
So… did everyone just forget about Domino just like that? It’s not even been 2 decades?
And how could the earth fairies been imprisoned for centuries, yet Roxy is Morgana’s daughter???
Roxy is in fact the last earth fairy because her mother is the queen fairy that lives on earth lol.. theses questions can literally be answered.
Yah exactly that didn’t make sense. I don’t feel like the Winx writers know exactly what the word ancient means
@@kingdomorange2 I didn’t really think they were ancient I just think they were in hiding bc of the hunters
@@aprilmadlock we all know this. the problem is the timeline. half of the problems in the series are relatate to the timeline. things happend centurys ago, but also has only been 16 years.
@@gisela_oliveira but that’s bad time line with the production I figured that out when it first came I dont know how these are questions?
Right, and I think they should of added the specia lists in
WOW WAS SO MUCH BETTER THAN S7 AND ALL OF THAT. i loved the plot and loved that cliffhanger. really wish we got more of that instead of that mess called seaosn 8
Diaspro cursed Sky and was still trusted to manage him. Frankly that says a lot more about Sky's father then it does about anyone else.
Let’s be honest though seasons 1-4 were the best✨
S1-3 for me. S4 was great but had a lot of plot holes for me unfortunately
4 had so many contradictions to the previously established lore.
yes 100%
Mostly Aisha and Stella who will become queen of those planets…
Why is there no plot with this? They are futur queens and they are barely preparing for it…
I'm rewatching winx and I just finished 4th season and boy was I confused and disappointed with ending. Like, they really wanted to stay on Earth just to have the band and shop, bfr😃
A lot to choose from, but here:
-What happened to Stella’s ring?!
Or why isn’t Hogan ever mentioned before the movie, just pretty random imo
-When Morgana was caught, she said she had been imprisoned for centuries. Even if she wasn’t actually imprisoned that long, this literally makes it look like she deserted her kingdom and subjects because she wanted to be “normal” which makes it look like she wanted her own happiness more than protecting her fairies to the bitter end
-Selina somehow had magic in her. Why isn’t ever mentioned the Black Circle attempted to catch her but could because she wasn’t the fairy they wanted. It’s never even explained where her powers came from or even what they are
-S5 when the Winx are confronted by the mutants, why didn’t they attempt to use their Enchantix fairy dust to heal and break Tritannus’s control? Instead we rely on a stupid sword that only heals Narrius and Trista that literally doesn’t do anything else. So much for being extremely powerful in the ocean
-Sirenix. When the Winx open the book it literally warned them its a dangerous form before continuing. Why don’t we ever see them having problems controlling their powers or it kinda backfiring at times because in a way its so powerful it’s unstable or something
-Daphne’s nymph form.
Feels like they just invented her literally for the sake of her starring season, without any thought or care for prior seasons.
i think it was mentioned somewhere in s6 that Selina was the witch of snakes, but i haven’t seen the show in a while so i could be wrong
I thought the exact same thing about the fairy dust… They NEVER used it again! It was so powerful to revert this kind of dark magic
I’m pretty sure Stella might have mean’t only in magix instead of the whole magical dimension, but from my memory I remember her saying the entire magical dimension.
also if stella was already in alfea before how did she graduate with the rest? shouldn't she graduate before them?
@@phcnixs that too, it confused me but I just assumed that since she was expelled they made her do the year over again
@@soggysocks0 she did, stella is older than all of them she had to repeat a year
The 4Kids made Alphea more as a prestigious school mostly princesses or rich girls attended. Diaspro I think in the Rai actually disses Alphea. But yes in S3 Chimera goes to a less popular school Beta Academy (Alphea is Alpha as is #1) I think part of the goofup is Winx Club wasn’t meant to go past S3. So again its a problem 4Kids avoided by changing the dialogue, similar to how Red Fountain is supposed to be a wizard school, but it’s obvious in every season the boys don’t have any powers and rely on hand to hand combat and advanced technology to fight
i am surprised that it wasn't mention that in the 4 season at the start it was said that the girls were now teachers at the school.
Woo!
Just some things about your plotholes
1.) first and MOST important, they ruined Daphnes story with season 5. fall of domino doesn’t add up at all anymore - we see daphne trying to use Sirenix but failing IN the papalce for that one shot - next time she’s in the infinite ocean with polities fighting the witches - makes 0 sense since they fought on domino and after facing Daphne, they faced the company of light.
Here’s my thing, how are Icy Darcy and Stormy still alive after all these seasons
How are ANY OF THE CHARACTERS ALIVE. Like all these hits to them and powers and wtv like. In reality any human would be dead from those blows.
@@samimochim7236 They were attacked not vanquished. Defensive powers are not meant to kill as they are meant to defend.
@@ricardomoseley no. As many times as the characters have fell( harshly) been hit into trees, buildings, floors, you mean to tell me humans wouldn’t be in some type of coma or anything around that nature?
@@ricardomoseley I’m talking about impact.
@@samimochim7236 they aren’t humans
As a huge fan of Winx, I also have many other questions:
-Why did Tecna and Musa's Pixies suddenly change in season 6?
These are all really good points. I will definitely touch on some of these in my next video!
@@kingdomorange2 Oh thanx!
@@kingdomorange2 Oh thanx!
Ultimate doesn’t make sense to me is the fact that even after years later on the winx are the only students that achieve an upgraded fairy form, like none of the other students, background characters in general not even ROXY! who’s been on the show since season 4 (even tho she’s barely been seen), has gotten an upgrade their all just staying in charmix-you’re telling me the winx are the only ones that are achieving Enchantix, like we see no other fairy with it
The other fairies didn't even earn charmix, some got base transformations but not charmix and charmix was never spoken about after s2
I literally had a whole rant about this in my head! She was wronged! Yeah her attitude wasn’t the best but like she did not deserve to be cheated on.
Best premier education money
Flora and tecna probably are the only ones not princesses or depended from.
Stay tuned...I will touch on this more in my next video!
i have a theory about icy and her sister/s
When Icy lost her home I get the impression that she was 16 at the time...
Faragonda Used To Be A Witch
@@americanbrownreviews in season 7 Faragonda’s younger self is seen as a student at Alfea so she’s always been a fairy
After that I'm just confused on what happened after and season 6-8 confused me purely cause I was lost
i also don’t understand how roxy, an earth fairy, had to go through fairy levels when other earth fairys are just naturally powerful
at the sirenix wish, i actually like how instead of wish her parents to be together again (it like asking a genie to make some fall in love with them, doesn't that violate their free will?) , she wish they understand emotions more so if they actually still love each other they get back together naturally, if she did wish that, won't that be no better then them drinking love potion?
you may think you love them but what is actually your true emotions and what is fabricated by the magic
I actually wondered that too.
Right?! They’re teachers and then… they’re not
For the trix calling each other "sister"
These 3 are essentially a coven and in a witch's eyes any other witch who is in your coven is your sister.
7:04 why couldn’t they have just done it like Hocus Pocus? The 3 sisters witches actually had a 4th sister (in the book) and she was a good witch, should’ve just did that made the trip triplets who planned to become the most powerful witches in the world in order to save their 4th little sister
7:40 to be fair just cause she wishes them back together doesn’t mean they’ll suddenly start being friendly with each other all the time, I feel like that whole “be careful what you wish for” thing comes into play, I feel like wishing I feel like wishing they understood their feelings is way better it’ll cause them not to fight all the time
9:01 they need to just let Diaspro move on already! Like let this girl just move on and find another guy already-any time diaspro came back on the show after drugging sky in S3 she don’t even seem interested in Sky anymore I think she just wants to mess with Bloom
4:25 i had also doubts on this so i searched on internet and I read that magical adventure take place during season 4 between episodes 13 and 14
my mom and me LOVED winx club, we literally binged season 1 to 7 in like a week. Now im starting to get more into winx club again which is pretty good
aot is clear
The entire winx story doesn’t make sense after especially season 3 😭
About Daphne choosing to have Sirenix is very simple, in the official book (I don't remember the name in Italian but the translation is Guide To The Magical World) it is written that Sirenix is the most powerful transformation so, sense is what she prefers to prefer Sirenix .
There was a time when Enchantix was a fairy's most powerful form, I guess it got shifted to Sirenix or whatever as they kept adding seasons to the show
@@Scion141 (Everyone already knows that)
We all know Enchantix is the most powerful form.
World of Winx is a spin off, so it’s entirely separate from the main series
My thoughts about how the black circle released from just open the paintings are most likely they were trapped in it to prevent any other people removing their powers and because Bloom open the blind behind them ,were released
It actually would've been better if they didn't give Icy that tragic backstory and they let Icy, stormy, and Darcy be actual triplets mostly because it made sense
Three triplets that have been together and have a very strong sisters bond, you know sweet villain things instead of a tragic backstory.
"And Techna was gonna wish for a personality!"
FOUL!! 💀 YOU ARE SO WRONG FOR THAT! 😭 when I say I *screamed.*
Tecna was going to wish for a personality 😂😂
I think every fan of the original series wanted the Winx Club members to continue growing like young adults after season 4 instead of stagnating and acting like little girls forever.
Also the specialists deserved their own little arc.
All I can is that the only great seasons for me were from Season 1 to season 4...
Season 5 was good with but, really it still has that 'WINX energy feel' that I enjoy from the previous seasons...
But from then on...it just feels like a kids fairy tv series. It lost all of those...things I like from WINX.
Villains became a joke (not like Darkar or even Valtor, and the Trix became....meh)
Diaspro appearing after the event of S3 was not needed and a bad drama...
Was a bit dissapointed with how Daphne became but still glad she got her happy end and I still see her as a great character, she just lost all of those mystical feel I got from her
And yes the Roxy part...really sad she didn't get much more recognition in S7 when it is about ANIMALS n she is technically the fairy of ANIMALS
i am currently rewatching winx club after so many years and imo i kinda wish they did some more with the villains yk? like especially the fairy hunters, im not finished w season 4 but like one thing i kind of hoped for was maybe the fairy hunters ACTUALLY did something, like they keep saying “let’s deal with them, let’s steal their wings” but never do when they have multiple chances to do so.
when the fairy hunters first show up, they defeat Flora easily and she’s alone for a while, like we can say in the time it takes to get the winx to come, why don’t the fairy hunters like… maybe take flora’s wings?? when they have the chance TO? and somehow it doesn’t feel like it makes sense that they couldn’t get Bloom??? like just because she isn’t the last earth fairy or is there something else that stops it like the fairy hunters have to be like “we’re getting the last earth fairy” oh no this isn’t it the circle doesn’t want it o.o bloom’s still a fairy tho??
and when Roxy got given the white circle later on, Bloom was literally not with the others of winx, had the chance to get her wings so why not???
like i think it would have been interesting and exciting to like maybe see something happen to winx like with their magic, wings etc that they would have to work hard to see id they could actually do something about like maybe they’d have to actually defeat the fairy hunters to restore the wings, just like something
My favourites are Winx Club Series are Season 5, Season 6 and Season 7 because I do love the improvement of characters designs, voices and beautiful colour scenery and the stories continue to where Winx Club Season 4 left off too thanks to Nickelodeon. Although I still wished some of the episodes improve a bit especially that some characters that never made sense or explained:
1.Politea only appear in one episode with no speaking voice however she does appear again in the third Winx Club movie with her speaking voice.
@@meduzsazsa8490
Exactly.
And no, the Nickelodeon dubs is not better.
4Kids is slightly better.
you are definitely a troll, no one likes S5 S6 and S7 more than og 3 seasons. LMAO not gonna read what you said
@@kkerakkii1147
Precisely, Winx Club season five, six, seven and eight are completely trash.
"Winx Club doesn't want its viewers to buy dolls."
That's where you are wrong, kiddo.
Why are'nt they any male fairies in the winx club like can only females be fairies and what is up with there only being male specialists like 😕
male fairies do exist in the Winx Club universe given what the magical dimension provides and how advanced it is there roles are probably similar to specialist wizards and sorcerers with this its safe to assume they rarely transform if ever.
@@kristinahuchison2511 Helia has magic powers? When?
1,2 - Pixies
4 - Fairy Pets
5 - guardian water of different water dimensions
6 - Ig pixies again, but not really
7 - Fairy Animals
Every season has new fairy creatures, but other than the pixes it's pretty shallow.
On winx club wiki it says that season 3 of winx club take place in 2006 so season 6 take place in 2009 and Miele should be 9 or 10
That's good to consider (good point, good point.)
That, _and if we have to consider this..Either I'm a little bit concerned/conflicted here by this,or the fact that these Fae/Alien-Fairies-from other planets/worlds,mind you..-probably-and I think PROBABLY,just to be certain-age like,REALLY fast than regular humans/humanoid beings here, mind you...They DO come from other planets/fairy worlds,y'know...?_
