- In order to make around 1,500 fresh fish balls and dumplings by hand daily, Uncle Ah Hua has been up from 4.30am - 10pm for the past 20 years.
How does he deal with his long 17-hour work days? Taking "happy hour" breaks, unwinding with friends over beer, and singing Andy Lau songs.

We had it today and it was very good. The handmade fish balls were dense and flavourful unlike floury factory ones. Also loved the chilli sauce and nice clear soup. Price is very reasonable .We really appreciate his dedication to his trade.

Old traditions hawker people really hardworking, they work more than 12h. Not easy man. Really appreciate it. It is not easy to find a homemade fishball noodle at SG. 辛苦你了 Uncle Hua ❤️

Vids like these made me appreciate hawker food stall owner (and workers, too) even more and more. They really do work hard! I pray that they'll always be strong, healthy, have quality time to spend with their family, and just be able to properly rest after those hours of hard work.

When this covid thing goes better, hopefully I can visit Singapore again and go eating at uncle noodle shop. I'm a huge fan of hawker stalls 🇸🇬 , night markets vendors 🇨🇷, and warung makan 🇮🇩. Makan" is the best lah, especially makan enak. And my salute for uncle Hua for his hardworking ethics.
