To my beloved father and mother who passed away earlier before I graduated to college , I offer this wonderful song to both of you. Both of you are my heroes of my faith because youre the two persons I treasured and molded me to become a good Christian, sharers of Gods Love. I will always play this song on my retirement this December in the government service. I will always remember the time when both of you always encourage me attend every Sunday for a regular mass. Thank you so much for the gift of Christian faith.
Everytime I listen this song... I cry remembering all those beautiful people who shaped me to be what I am today. Heroes of faith. I will miss those good people and will meet them so sweet day in heaven.
My wife passed away eight months ago. December 20, 2015 will be our Silver Wedding Anniversary. This song makes me cry, remembering how strong she was in her faith. She is my Hero of the Faith.
My Dad who passed on recently( 30th September, 2018) will forever be my hero of my faith. He was a strong gallant soldier of the cross. I will forever live to emulate his ways.
This song still reaches into my heart and makes me Praise God for the people He has brought into my life that became my Heroe's of the Faith.... It started with my mother and continued with so many people that she reached out to in order to make sure all of us kids were wrapped with Godly people surrounding us...
Verse 1 I first met you at a singing when I was just sixteen. You took the time to share with me the reason why you sing. You said, “The road's not always easy, but God is ever true.” You said, “Just share the good things that He has done for you.” Chorus You became my hero of the faith, soldier of the cross Singing out the grand old story, Jesus saves the lost And now it's time to lay your armor down, and pass the torch, But You're a hero of the faith, solider of the cross.
this is for my precious Pastor! you will Always be the hero of my faith. I wouldn't even be here without your Strong Godly teachings.. I love you Pastor Tony and I can't wait to see you and my Jesus in Glory!!💖 I miss you soon much...
Takes me back to the times when American Baptish Missionaries in the 19th Century like Rev. Miles Bronson and EW Clark who came to Nagaland of Northeast India and spread the Gospel. The Nagas were headhunters and was practicing animism. In fact, they were what people might called, savages but also they had an organized form of administration, they were indeed ready to embrace the newfound Grace while some resisted. In this time of great dangers and through the thick jungles and through hostile villages, who was in constant warfare, the American Missionaries toiled to spread the Gospel and established educational institutions. The language barrier makes it more difficult but they quickly learned the Naga languages and also interpreted the Bible to Naga languages. The Naga society at that time was of a dark age. Most village was in war and heads was captured as trophies and those who cut head were regarded as the heroes. To this day, you can find those relics in Nagaland. These missionaries through sheer determination and courage and through unknown territories, brought in the Gospel. Even the British administration, despite possessing great military power at that time adopted a policy of non-interference in Naga areas due to the hostile attitude of Nagas to outsiders. It is indeed amazing and a miracle that God helped those missionaries to step into this soil of hostile people. It is because of them that the Nagas are now mostly Christians and the largest group of Baptish outside America. Over the years, great Heroes of faith like Rev. Billy Graham have visited the Nagas and spread the gospel. In the late 1970s the Nagas declared unto God to send 10,000 missionaries across the world. This is yet to be fulfilled. May God bless you all.
we are "celebrating" the 1 year anniversary of my dads death, who was only 76 years old, today. we miss dad, but are so thankful he is healed, in Heaven. Yes, dad died of C19
HEROES OF FAITH Hebrews 11 It doesn’t take faith to be a hero - we are motivated by many other different things; both ‘good’ and “bad”. Hero denotes bravery, selflessness (sometimes), and the superhuman behavior which transcends the norms of usual carnal conduct. The designation of some of the National Heroes in the Jamaican jurisdiction could be questioned/challenged but that’s another controversial discourse for another forum. The main unquestionable criteria is sacrificing one’s own life for other(s). And here, as you could tell, is where JESUS - the ultimate “Hero” - comes in. No greater love exists - no greater benefits are to be gained than a life devoted wholly and solely to JESUS CHRIST. Let Him save you.

things that He has done for you.”
Chorus
You became my hero of the
faith, soldier of the cross
Singing out the grand old

And now it's time to lay your
armor down, and pass the torch,
But You're a hero of the
faith, solider of the cross.
