I mean, I tried a similar sort of technique after watching this and got kinda close, but man was that "liquid bass" technique confusing even when Azel slowed it down lol Love the beatboxing content David! I've been following your channel for a little while now and have enjoyed these vids! Keep 'em coming! :D
Glad to see my favourite non-beatboxing musician back on the beatbox reactions! You have many GBB 2021 wildcards to catch up with my friend! "I am ready to rave and do responsible things" 🤣
So nice to see, how you explore the Beatxing Scene, that you know the Names of Sounds and that you put some Teasers of your Beatbox Sounds in 😊 can't wait, till we'll see a beatboxing Routine from you, that would be epic ✌
I love how human you are. You keep the funny awkward moments, your zoom in effects are on point and always have me rolling. Love your content man! Keep it up!
Nice to see you around David, it's fun to see reactions/analysis from other people :) I enjoy your videos, especially your "wtf" faces LOL (Which happens a lot on the beatbox reactions). Keep'em coming buddy!
hahaha this guy is finally interested, go on bro, you already have good technique like your bass sound, soon we will see, yoo this is david larson shoutout to swissbeatbox LOL
That is basically what people in the extreme metal scene call "tunnel throat", but it's down inward instead of outwards, because he's combining it with the inward bass+click roll. That's my guess, since I got the sound once, but only because I already knew the "tunnel throat" technique. I couldn't make all the transition though, cause I can't do the inward click roll.
Hey David the vibrations should occur between the tongue and the roof of the mouth not the cheeks (if you remove the vibrations from your current position you can get an inward whistle which you can use to do recorder whistle)
I felt so awkward at 10:35 🤣 when do we get ur 1st beatbox routine??? I can't wait , no pressure 😘 p.s that's a sweet guitar, also can't wait to hear that and ur future music 😋
Nice! You got the inward clickroll successfully!! However, his “demuth bass” I believe may not be the same technique as his liquid bass (which inward bass plus inward clickroll), there’s a lot of debate in our community amongst those us who are interested in this area on what exactly demuth bass is but it’s most likely not just a combination of standard inward bass and a non-vocal bass component.
Bro I love Azel but it kinda makes me sadge that I’ve been mixing that “liquid bass” with the inward whistle he called “vortex” since 2014, his tutorial is really good, I send people his video when they ask me about the sound. I think my case is pretty common tho. KEEP IT UP DAVID!
12:43 thats a cheek roll, you used your tongue to trigger the cheek to roll. With click roll you trigger the sound by put the tongue close to the roof, the more it stick to the roof, the more solid is the clickroll. Thats why Azel use the side part of the tongue, because it has more space to make it more lose so he can do the liquid bass with that kind of texture.
Nice reaction and analysis! You might want check out so-so next! He`s a looper mainly but he makes sounds that only he can make at least that I know of anyway!
For the inward clickroll, the tip of your tongue must roll/vibrate and the variation that Azel was talking is that you fold your tongue to the side and let the side of your tongue roll/vibrate. Once you get the technique down just add your inward bass and it's all good.
I’m not sure if that’s what it is, but once I did the Inward Bass(inward false fold vibration) and tried to do the Snore Bass(inward uvula oscillation) at the same time, I got a sound that sounds a lot like Azel’s Demuth Bass.
The air must be going between your tongue and the roof of your mouth. You can do it on the side of the tongue or on the middle. It's more like a tongue roll/bass inward than a duck bass inward. Hope it helps anyone who is trying to get this sound
The click roll is actually the same way you roll your R's. Instead of keeping your tongue up and blowing out for the vibration, bend your tongue inwards a little and breathe in for the vibrations. Don't forget to bend it inwards such that the lower part of the tongue touches the roof of the mouth. Then you can try bending the tongue sideways and slightly bending the tongue on the side facing the roof such that the whole side has its lower part touching the roof and breathe in then.
For the click roll, put the underside of your tongue flat against the roof of your mouth and breath in, causing the air to pass between your tongue and the roof of your mouth along the centre of your tongue which causes it to repeatedly slap against the roof of your mouth which male the click noise, hope this helps :)
Hi David, so actually in the click roll, the air is supposed to go between your tongue and the roof of your mouth and not on the side. Hope this helps!
Great video David, I really love your reactions and your attempts of the sounds ^^ But I gotta tell you that you did exactely the wrong thing while you tried to do the regular inward click roll. It is supposed to vibrate at the top not at the sides. You have to, first create pressure and then release it by brathing in, just like doing a tounge pop but now with your tounge curled to the top. However Azel's click roll is created by folding the tounge to the side and succing the air into there. D-low also did a great tutorial for that. I would also wish you would react to those and try to do the sounds. Azel also combines this click roll with an inward bass and I guess some kind of inward vocal fry to get the siiiiiick demuth bass. Sorry for any mistakes, I love your vids 💜💜💜
You should definitely link in your description the videos you mention and add "...that I have linked below", I went to look for the bike assembly time lapse in the description and then went to search for it on your channel, but I cant help but think youre missing a lot of views because people just cant be bothered searching for that

I've seen a few of your videos before but these last few beat box breakdowns and seeing you try to learn the techniques has earned a sub from me.
I love how human you are. You keep the funny awkward moments, your zoom in effects are on point and always have me rolling. Love your content man! Keep it up!
I was watching this at work with headphones and this part I had to stop the video because I laughed so loud, people came to check on me. 🤣🤣

I really like that your getting into the beatboxing scene. Keep up the good work!! Been here since your first beatbox reaction

I was watching two videos back when I was going to suggest this exact one.
Dope vintage bike at the back 🔥
I’m not sure if that’s what it is, but once I did the Inward Bass(inward false fold vibration) and tried to do the Snore Bass(inward uvula oscillation) at the same time, I got a sound that sounds a lot like Azel’s Demuth Bass.
So you know how two h does his inward bass position, yeah basically that but azel adds something else to make it sound like that
You should react to "BERYWAM & MB14 | Crew Beatbox World Champions | World Beatbox Camp 2018" and give your opinion on that. Great video as always

13:00 its not like inward donald duck xd, you have to roll lour tongue on the side and inward, i can find it by searching "inward click roll"
Responsible activities haircut 😂💀 Idk why I lost it when he said that
That sound b-art makes is 2 separate sounds inward bass and inward click roll together
The click roll is actually the same way you roll your R's. Instead of keeping your tongue up and blowing out for the vibration, bend your tongue inwards a little and breathe in for the vibrations. For the click roll, put the underside of your tongue flat against the roof of your mouth and breath in, causing the air to pass between your tongue and the roof of your mouth along the centre of your tongue which causes it to repeatedly slap against the roof of your mouth which male the click noise, hope this helps :)
the click roll is on the side, using the center is the weaker version

Hi David, so actually in the click roll, the air is supposed to go between your tongue and the roof of your mouth and not on the side. Hope this helps!
