dude, who r u? gotta be outta this world with this talent....... just put my ballpoint skills to shame but it's fine i'll sit down and shut up for this. Absolutely beautiful pieces and work. Thanks for this
ballpoint pens are amazing, we all have them, mostly used for writting :) but damn do they hold some real power, I love them because they are closest to drawing pencils in terms of how flexible they are to the pressure and angle, fineliners and inking is so stiff in comparison. But I can see why so few artist use them for comics and stuff, to make really great shading/value changes with them, it takes alot of practice, and even when mastered it takes alot of time to make quality art with them :)
Thank u for the awesome lessons with patience and skill .You need to b very proud .This has helped me a zillion times over.God bless my brother.thank u again

This was useful information, wow, I'm seriously blown away at your art, and it's inspiring as An artist myself it just shows how much I still need to improve, its so tedious I actually doubted myself for a minute and just putting down my tablet, till I came across this. New subscriber thank you!
Thank you so much for your kind words! Don’t doubt yourself. Growth takes time, and every step matters. Keep going, and I’m excited to see where your art journey takes you! Welcome to the channel!
Great video man I keep coming back to your channel when I get stuck on something. I know you mentioned that you don’t use scribbling for skin and I wanted to say I’ve been using it in conjunction with hatching/cross hatching to make super smooth skin texture. It’s more of controlled scribbling just making very small light “c” shapes first and then lightly hatching over it. Makes it very smooth. Then if I wanna darken I’ll do more scribbling on top. Regardless your work is dope keep it up
I don’t have a video. What I do is open the pen to take the ink tube out. Next, I use a sharp object to cut it open. I then dab the open tube on to the paper. Lastly, I use a q-tip to spread the ink on the paper. Hopefully this helps
Thank you for sharing! My art journey seriously at the end of 2020 and I have learned mostly by watching other artist on TH-cam. Few really share. So thank you. I’ve been wondering about ballpoint pen drawing and those were great tips. Have you thought about setting up a Patreon channel?
Your secret is certainly patience more than anything else, I commend and envy that at the same time! I draw/paint with any and all mediums I can find, but I go into way too much detail and get lost, so patience is my worst ennemy every time. I can easily spend 20-30 hours on a A3 size portrait with only graphite, and then I'll have a phase of several months without drawing because it exhausted my patience completely...
@@Nihonium7 I can relate to how you’re feeling. Back in 2019, I’ll draw for like 20+ hours then take a one month break. I had to force myself to keep drawing after completing a long project
Amazing work! Really. I didn’t even know it was possible to get photo realism with a ball point pen. Just one question, how do you avoid ink boogers? I’ve tried it, and after a while it seems like the pen leaks, do you wipe the tip out every once in a while?
My biggest advice is to use the internet as your main source for learning how to draw. There are so many free resources out there. Another is to draw from life as much as possible. Carry a small sketchbook with you wherever you go and draw what you see
@@davielias4404 I’ve never experienced this problem before. Try using a different pen and see if that was the problem. You can also use a different type of paper
