I don't think anyone should have problems with minimalist even if initially it copied ordinary products. It made the products accessible in India! So many people including myself had to either carry ordinary products with us in our foreign trips or had to pay hefty custom duty for it before. Now after so much of demand, they have finally come in India they Nykaa! Also, aren't dupes doing more or less the same thing!

I absolutely love the Salicylic acid cleaner. It does wonders for my super oily, textured skin. Their Oat moisturizer is also very soothing on the skin. Thanks for your review, I do feel the brand has come back after the initial backlash regarding ripping off The Ordinary

Their alpha arbutin is the best its not sticky and no it doesn't leave any film i have been using their arbutin from past one year and oh boy haven't found better arbutin yet....yes the sunscreen part is true it does pill on my skin too but their arbutin is literally so good

The alpha arbutin also did not help me and leaves a film on the face whereas all the other products are my fav (except the sunscreens which I have not tried yet). You just gave an honest review !!
Its good to see that she owned up for her mistake. The ordinary is not available in India so at least minimalist is trying to make affordable products.

I personally use minimalist face wash and salicylic acid and impressed by it.
I am not sure what I am missing, but why is there Retinol in an SPF? Doesn't retinol dissolve under sunlight?
I have been using their products since December 2020 despite all that controversy and it has changed my skin immensely. When it comes to actives, they have effective formulations with affordable prices, compared to other brands.
Been a regular user of the SA+LHA cleanser, PHA toner, Niacinamide 10% and Sepicalm moisturiser. And used and loved some others like Alpha Arbutin, Salicylic acid, Vit C, Tranexamic acid, Rosehip oil with VCIP, Squalane and SPF 50.
I had wondered when the brand really upped their game if you would actually try them some day. :)
Ma'am you miss another awesome product from this brand, 10% vitamin c and 1% AG serum. Highly recommend.
Sorry just wanted to know if you are a dermatologist..as you talk about formulation and percentage.

I've tried a handful from the brand
Niacinamide 5%- broke me out gave me the worst skin ever
Salicylic acid + niacinamide 10% - transformed my skin completely. My adult acne is gone. No flare ups since 3 weeks. The marks are fading pretty fast
I've repurchased the spf 50 sunscreen. It worked really well for me tbh and it doesn't pil for me
Chemical peel-I've purchased this 3 times I like it that much I can honestly see a difference with continued usage.
Granactive retinoid - I like this. Very gentle. I wake up with a glow whenever I use it. I use it twice a week.
Due to try the peptide serum and vitamin c :)
My skin type is dry dehydrated acne prone. In addition I use the Cosrx essence and snail cream in my routine :)
Hii. Can you please help me out with the routine. I have dark spots on the face and acne breakouts very frequently. Please suggest which products should I use and in which order.
@@salonikathuria7436 hi I am not an expert but salicylic acid + niacinamide 10 percent is what helped me the most in curbing my acne breakouts and fading the scars. You may go on the minimalist support website and have a chat with their skincare expert by describing your age, skin type and skin concern and maybe they'll curate a better routine for you :) the routine I use
AM: salicylic acid + niacinamide 10 percent + moisturiser and sunscreen
PM : alternate days I use retinoid+ moisturiser.
Once every 7-10 days I use the chemical peel by minimalist in the PM and on that day and next day I don't use actives. Just use hydrating products.

Completely agree that some products are on the stickier side(unsure if it's because of aloe juice or other ingredients) and I experienced this even with the sepicalm moisturizer too for my combo/ oily skin. Unsure if it needs to be applied on damp skin? Hopefully the #minimalist2.0 addresses this. As a brand I'm so happy they're open to feedback and improving so much! ♥️

Hey Chetali!! Gotta say I had been waiting for this one.. Could you help clear a doubt? I've been using their salicylic acid cleanser and it is really helping me with my textured, bumpy skin and sebum regulation.. but last year I had a bout of bad acne and though I don't have acne anymore I do have PIH leftover WHICH JUST WON'T GO AWAY! So I was considering to incorporate their pha toner in hopes that regular but gentle exfoliation would help me with scars? So do you think I can use the cleanser and toner together in the p.m? Or would that be too much?

@@neetayadav3660 yes. I knwo they don't recommend that, but I've been using salicylic acid for about 3 years now, so I know my skin can take it. I used it everyday in the pm for about two weeks. And alternate nights after that. Also in those two weeks I didn't use any other salicylic acid product and just used my rosewater toner, 5% niacinamide serum and moisturiser in the nighttime.
I am a male but hooked to your video, you should have one more channel for "effective communication and speech". You are amazing, your gift of gab is amazing. Can you recommend what do you do , read, how to have such clear crisp speech. Kindly consider it and if possible do give some tips.
Hi Amit. Firstly, thanks for all the appreciation. It feels great when one’s content is useful for more than one thing. Reading helped me a lot, I still read a lot. I keep a diary where I write if I come across a different word. Practice is the key, try and speak in English or any language you want to perfect even at home. Correct diction you can google. I don’t promise but I will try to make a video around this sometime if more people want to see it.

I have been using the Salicylic acid cleanser for couple of weeks and have not been able to understand why is it so highly rated. I have an extremely oily skin, and using this cleanser does not have any quick cleansing effect, neither did I notice any long term usage effects on my skin. It feels very mild for someone with a very oily skin which is prone to acne.
I never purchase a product without referring to your videos. Your reviews are always 100% honest no matter what.
