I did a space week with my kiddos in my class too. I keep it pretty simple as I only work with three year olds, so I tried to make it relevant to things they actually can or have seen, like the moon and stars. Love some of the ideas you had though! I also have a classroom of 16 kiddos but there is only two of us to the 16 kids. Lol.
Looks like so much fun. I don’t have space week in my themes , but seeing all the fun activities you did I am going to add it in some where. So many ideas. Space was definitely one of my favourite themes to do with my kiddos. I'm curious on how you decide what theme to do each week? Do you just randomly choose a theme, is it child guided, or do you have a theme schedule you have to follow? Where I live, we have to choose themes based on our observations of the children. So if we notice a lot of children are taking an interest in a certain topic such as space by talking about space, drawing pictures, or doing any pretend play we then move into that theme. Holidays are usually easy to move into because kids are always excited for Halloween, Christmas (and others), Valentine's Day, Easter, etc.

We choose themes based on all of the above! We do have a curriculum map but are flexible when we see children interest!
