I just want to thank you so much for being such an inspiration! I have always been a very hard worker. I love beauty, I love fashion. 4 years ago I had an accident that changed my life. After 1-1/2 years with 3 surgeries, I had to learn to walk in a wedge shoe. Use use to wear 4 inch heals all the time! Literally, I had to learn to walk again. 4 years in now with pain killing 😮stimulators, loads of medication , a tremendous weight gain due to steroids and Avery heavy heart, I’m finding my way back to a new me. I know I’ll get there. I Sincerly appreciate all the inspiration. I’ve been out of the fashion loop on all fronts for3 years now and this fourth year I’ve decided I’m goin after the good stuff and I can get myself back. You give people that hope. As a Ballroom Dancer myself, I've always been told, "We don't stop dancing because we get old. We get old because we stop dancing!" So dance on, dear lady. We're here for it, and we're here for YOU.
In 2023, I had learned that "bad" people are just bad and you cannot convince them that you're good. They just thrive off of drama and I needed to realize that they're just miserable inside for whatever reason. I learned after much confusion and pain that they need to cause conflict to make them feel in control. I took that "control" from them by being me and I freed myself. Congrats and much love. 🎉
Well, "haters gotta hate ". I really appreciate hearing about products; its so important as we get older to know what's available so we can update our make-up and improve our skin. I just found your channel yesterday and ordered the lipstick that you were wearing. I've been looking for something "pinkish" but not too PINK or dull for years! I love your videos and can’t believe how beautiful you are. I truly don’t understand what possesses people to be mean and nasty online to someone they don’t know or will ever know. Something bad must have happened to those people somewhere along the line. A hole in their hearts. You are so smart to not only ignore them and not engage, but to take it a step further and not even read the posts. Good work and happy holidays.
I love that you buy such amazing designer pieces preowned. I started doing that a couple of years ago with two higher end brands - St John and Carlisle. While not at the level of Givenchy or Dior both were on the higher end of my price range (e.g. $1,500 to $2,500 for a new jacket or sheath). But buying preowned at about a third of the new price allows me to try more items and not regret the missteps so much. Thanks for your example.

I am 66 and had and extremely abusive mother as she was a paranoid schizophrenic. I had all brothers and really no females in my life. I really did not want much to do with woman, but I have to say, I have found much hope and healing in your channel. It is so inspiring and soothing to learn about self acceptance, and see a positive woman! I started my grey hair go natural journey a year ago October and I never could have done it without you. And everything you show us is life affirming and life changing. You are literally showing us how to age beautifully it’s hard to go from being young and beautiful to older with all of it’s challenges but you are there researching things and showing us the way! So, really touched me today. I had major surgery in 2017 to fix prolapse and incontinence. I had major problems after and swore never again. But this has not worked for me at all, so I'm going to find a new surgeon and get this fixed. Thankyou!
