I have to use an eye gel in the day, called Viscotears, and one called Hylonight for during night hours. It's imperative that I use these two products. For anybody with very dry eye syndrome, the usual type of drops etc are not enough .

Agreed. Nighttime ones are usually and ointment to do before bed usually. Put small ribbon lower eye " pocket" by pulling down inner to outer. Just what I learned using eye ointment at night and nursing school.

Have you tried Restasis 2x daily? I've used it for years and it works except on a few very dry days in the desert. Then I use Boiron Optique drops for extra moisture. But it's good to know of other products just in case.

Hi, Nikol. Every show of yours I watch teaches me something. The idea of trying a different palette sounds like fun. Also, swirling the bronzer up into the blush answers one of my questions. Thank you for being here. You lift my spirits and remind me that I am beautiful, so I am learning to lift my own spirits! Thank you again!!

My ophthalmologist diagnosed me with extreme dry eye which was really affecting my sight. He had me put in drops ten times a day for a couple of weeks and rechecked me. Along with the drops I also stopped using Retin A, washing my hands then using my eye cream. There was a noticeable difference. While I don’t use retinal products on my eyes there is residue on my finger tips that could be cross contaminating my eye cream.

Retin A and hyaluronic acid both pull moisture from the eyes. I absolutely cannot use either. I keep hearing more and more women having dry eyes. I wish ophthalmologists knew the cause.

I need to thank you for giving me the confidence to continue on my letting my graying hair show itself! While I’ve never been one to completely cover it (partial weaves), I did get tired of the expense and the 4 hours in the chair. I just got a haircut and have about 6 inches of “old” hair left to go. I wish I’d done this sooner-it’s so even (gray/blond/brown), and beautiful!!

I did not know dry eye can be related to menopause. I was diagnosed with extremw dry eye and was prescribed Restaysis. It has worked really well but nice to know there could be a natural option. My ophthalmologist recomended putting a warm compress on everyday to lubricate the eyes as well. Love your channel! Thank you!

I love your videos, if I need a pick me up and a smile I watch your fashion shorts. You have so much fun with it, it’s infectious. You are a stunning woman! I don’t do as much makeup as you, my lifestyle is different than yours, but your makeup tutorials have helped me perfect what I do. I bought your mascara and liner they are great. I always knew mascara was about the brush as well as the formula. I will be 69 in a month, I have since January of 2023 lost 65 pounds, (very proud of that)🎉. Keep up the good work and make more fashion clips they are so fun.

I’ve had dry eyes for years-probably from too much iPhone/iPad/PC use. The dry heat during the winter too contributes. This past winter has been pretty bad on my eyes. I have used Restasis eye drops for years and recently started putting ointment in my eyes overnight. That has helped a lot. The biggest improvement has been after I started to use nonprescription contacts given to me by my optometrist. What a game changer! I keep them in for a month at a time. They keep the moisture in my eye, and my eyes have improved 75% so far!

Love tutorials. You’re way of applying the makeup, the colors you use help with aging skin to make it glow. I’m 71 and taken care of my skin all my life. Wrinkles are coming. Blemishes are coming. Your way of applying make up and your products has helped me feel better, then using what I used to use, which was heavier and got in the creases. I truly love your product and I so enjoy your tutorials the way that you shy away from using needles and a lot of the other things that another person Is using. You do it in the real world and practical. Yes, some of the make up is a little expensive but it’s worth the value and the result. Thank you so much.

Invizia is an excellent eye drop for dry eyes. Also, castor oil is truly amazing for brows, lashes, under-eye bags, everything! And, bonus feature, it is great for dry eye. Many dry eye remedies contain castor oil! (Organic, hexane-free, in a glass bottle.)

I just found this channel one day trying to escape celebrity gossip. I had almost forgotten there is other content that exists too 😂. Ran across a fashion short that was so amazing and just loved the hair and color along with the outfit you created!! So many around me rather dye their hair, but I will not. Just saw my 1st strand a few days ago, and I'm grateful, especially if I make it to see it fully turn. It just says to me I've lived through it all and still here. No desire to hide it or rewind time. Thanks for the inspiration and keep being you!! ❤🙏🏿

I admit to my grey hair, and yup I earned every single one. BUT, now I can afford and find the stuff to dye my hair any color or scope of colors I want. My parents can't tell me no either. My only barrier is when I want to do extras, like highlights or low lights. Then my husband has to help. He doesn't mind doing, just works a lot.

I recently bought some of your makeup (creme blush and lip liner) and love the complementary colors. I'm also a big appreciator of your positive message for mature women (I don't like the term "fan"). If I had a wish or two regarding the presents I ordered for myself (i DO love "presents"!), I'd ask that the creme blush last longer and that there were less packaging waste. The rose-covered box inside yet another box seemed excessive - despite the obvious aesthetic appeal of the packaging. Perhaps just wrap the items in rose-printed paper and mail them in the smallest possible box or pouch? Not as pretty, admittedly, but better for the environment. Meanwhile, keep doing what you do. It's all gorgeous and uplifting!

I live in Hawaii and had just about given up on makeup. It just sweats off, period. On a whim I asked at the Macy's counter how they kept their makeup on. It was a resounding Estee' Lauder 24 hour. They were so funny, like they had a 13 year old getting her first makeup 😂. Anyway I wound up with a written out sheet of paper of items they all sore by, not all Macy's stuff either, and about a half a bottles worth of samples. One of the older ladies suggested the setting spray stuff, but she said to use it lightly between layers. Well it worked and I loved it. Then I found Sephora. ❤ love at first sight.

*I have heard that castor oil EYEDROPS are great on many levels as it removes the problems that are causing the dry eye. It increases the lipids to help the lacrimal ducts. Castor oil has anti-inflammatory properties & anti microbial properties as well. Allergy season is here as well and it is very high in FL. I take Zyrtec for allergies. Be sure to research what is best for you as some allergy meds can make you sleepy! I love the new palette samples.. really pretty.

Hi Nikol! I am so sorry you have dry eyes. I was diagnosed with Sjogrens, which is an autoimmune disease. One of the symptoms is severe dry eye. In fact, it was my eye doctor who caught it. Anyways, they have me on Restasis. It works great! Plus, you may want to look into Scleral contacts. They are good for those with dry eyes. I just got mine, because I also have a corneal disease called Keratoconus. So, they kill 2 birds with one stone. They are expensive, but I was lucky that my insurance covered them since they are medically necessary. They are a hard lens, but they are so comfortable, because they are not like regular contacts. They also don’t have to be replaced like regular contacts. It might be something you’d like to look into. Love your videos! 💕💕

I got the paavani eye wash and at first I felt like it burnt my eyes while using but afterwards felt so good. Now I use it and I dont feel that burning sensation and my eyes feel amazing.

I have found that in the evening if I am going to try something new I do it then for practice as I will be cleaning my face before I go to bed. Practice does make perfect. When I had shoulder surgery I learned how to line my eyes with my left hand instead of my right so practice does make a difference. Thanks

Hi Nikol, thank you for another wonderful video. I totally sympathise with the dry, inflamed, hot eyes. I am in my late 50's, I has had this very bad for years now and try lots to help it. I stumbled across reusable metal? square ice cubes, you freeze them, I then wrap them in a cool damp muslin cloth and gently hold for a second or two working my way round the eye socket, I still use eye my drops but cubes have given me better and longer lasting results than anything I have tried for the puffy hot side of the problem. Thanks again, looking beautiful as always, take care 🙂

I love your videos. The problem I am having and I don't know if you can do anything about it is while your lipsticks and blush look pink in the left side split screen, they look orangey on you in the right side split screen. I do not like any yellow based products on my skin. So if that's something you can address, great; if not, I'll just live with it. Thanks!

Hi Nikol! Just a minor concern I wanted to share... in the video, the Amazon page that you screenshot seems to be for the Paavani facial toner - which I'm going on a limb to say probably SHOULDN'T be used as an eye wash?!?! Your link in the featured products is right, but I don't know if there's some way you can correct the screen shot. I'd hate someone to not be paying attention and think you suggested putting toner in their eyes!! Thanks for all your great teaching and info!!

Nikol, would you be able to go over your current hair cut? A while back you did the Martha Stewart layers, but are you still? And what products are you using to keep your hair back? If i dont use anything, my hair just flops in my face and drives me crazy - but dry shampoo makes me feel gross. And do you blow dry after every wash- and if you do, how are you protecting your hair from frizz?
    Thank you,

I still have the glass eye wash cup I used as a child in the 1950’s and 60’s. Back then my mom would mix up a boric acid solution to pour in the cup. I would be interested in some type of eye wash.

Always ask your eye doctor first. Mine has had me using a drop of baby shampoo to small amount warm water. Wash crusty etc out of eyes. Use only real baby shampoo. Been using 20 years. My dad's ophthalmologist has him doing same.
