Ann-Margret and Elvis together was like lightning in a bottle, you couldn't contain it They definitely had chemistry and you can see it when they're together, onstage and when they were filming. When she would have performances in Vegas, on opening night he would send her a flower arrangement in the shape of a guitar❤
On August 15th 1977, she was in Vegas to perform and she didn't receive flowers, she called Graceland and that's how she found out that Elvis had died. That was before the news had even broke that he had passed away. I remember watching an interview with Charlie Rose and Ann-Margret and she told him about that. She was always very very private about their relationship and she never will open up about it, she's always kept that part very private and confidential and I respect her for that.

One of my favorites is Flaming Star. From movie of the same name.
You should check out "Old Movie Stars Dance To Uptown Funk" if you haven't seen it yet. Its a pretty popular video. Like 60 million views.
As far as his movies go, my favorite is Clambake. Lot's of great song in that movie. Clambake, You Don't Know Me, and Who Needs Money. For most movie songs, you really need to watch the actual scenes to get the full effect. It depends on the movie and the song. Oh those hip moves!
Other movie songs worth listening to include Rock-a--Hula from Blue Hawaii, A Little Less Conversation, A Little More Action from Live a Little, Love a Little, Return to Sender from Girls, Girls, Girls, and Mean Woman Blues from Loving You. Wooden Heart from G.I. Blues and Bossa Nova Baby from Fun in Alcapulca are also worth checking out. Last but not least, you should check out Hard Luck from Frankie and Johnny. I really love it when Elvis sings songs with a Bluesy touch to it. It really suits his voice. Side note, the harmonica in the movie scene was actually played by one of the harmonica greats, Mr. Charlie McCoy!

I was in New Orleans at time King Creole was filming, tho didn't know it then , that movie showed E. could've been a good actor,.. he admired Brando. & Dean,.. but the Col. made him do those silly, sameplot, & they made a lotmoney .
Before made those, I liked , Charro, Flaming Star, Wild in the Country , even Kid Galahad, he was cool, as a boxer !!
@@Memow-pk1ng Yes, King Creole and Love Me Tender were the most dramatic movie Elvis did, and he was superb in both of them. While I really like the campy musicals that Elvis ended up doing, he could definitely have done some more dramatic roles. He was a great actor.

Wasn't an affair in sense as neither E. or A M. were not married . filming of this was 60 61, released 62. Prisc. first visit to Gracland was Xmas 62, so wasn't dating her .

Yes, Ann Margaret was the Hollywood mistress in Elvis life. His wife knew it and so did all the Elvis world. It’s no secret, but Ann Margaret will forever hold her intimate relationship with Elvis to herself, which in my opinion is very classy on her part. She’s a beautiful woman.
