    I wish I have not missed that. If I talk about French regions that I adore as whole, Alsace would be no 1, Loire would be no 2 and Beaujolais (villages) would be no 3. In my blind tasting challenges those are, I think, I never got wrong. The terroir is just there in your face for all three of them for me. And I first say “it’s Alsace” before I go for the grape or producer. In Alsace Riesling is always the king for me, but “Alsatian” texture, this oily thing that you mentioned, is always there for all nine grapes of the region, and very attractive to me. I dislike Pinot Gri as a grape, but Alsatian one still got to me… Beaujolais - favorite is Brouilly but I love them all.
    In your wine, the latest release, I can’t but think about Brouilly when I’m having it. I know you’re going for the Southern Rhône with your grapes, but the style…
