You have obviously been producing high quality content, consistently with passion and enthusiasm for years. I'm rapidly getting through your full catalogue. Thanks for all the hard work. I don't know why I have not found or been recommended this channel ages ago.
I saw the exhibition at the Guggenheim, which was awesome. I was unfamiliar with her work until then. It's a very appropriate venue, given that spiral shapes are prominent in her work, and of course the Guggenheim is in a spiral shape. I recently saw a documentary on Hilma af Klint, which is very good, "Beyond the Invisible"
@@TheArtTourist oh I'm sorry I feel like I judged the video too harshly and quickly! After all, it's a gift to have any videos on her at all! That would be wonderful! Thank you for this channel
wow how did I only just discover this channel? great videos, plus Hilma is one of my all time favourites after discovering her through the art assignment a while back. i'm lucky enough to have a copy of that book, one of my prized possessions. I'm constantly blown away by her which is rare for me, and not just by her work but mostly how she had it locked up for future audiences, truly a visionary!
I saw the Gugg exhibition. She's my favorite abstract painter, ever. Why is there room for idpol but no mention of social class? Did she attend seances after she clocked out at Walmart?
New fan here! As an outsider artist myself (if that term still means anything) I’d love to see you do episodes on Henry Darger (who just made a spectacular appearance in the show Emerald Tablet in LA) and Martin Ramirez who I named my cat “Z” after. Thank you for this great content 🙏
Yay! Darger is definitely on the list :) I’m not familiar with Ramirez but his work is amazing! Will have to look into him further. Thank you for the suggestions!
wow this is the most passionate video on the channel for sure, however i had a huge batch of fries for dinner and my neighbour smokes cigarillos deep into the night every night and with it being way too warm to close the window ill literally develop bronchitis from sleeping in this thick neighbourly stank when my tummy hurts like mad so sometimes you just wish there was an image to describe your reality, the contemporary reality of inner city youth but i cant even imagine what color the mosquito buzzing into my ear canal would be just like wtf im wayyyy hungover and sleepless to deal with this shit, where is the painting for me? is it like an anime avatar or something
finally the weekend. im unable to have fun, drank too much caffeine expecting to wanna be awake and cant sleep due to some neighbpuring couple having a fight in german. i understand only their tone. ate too much again thinking it would be fun. my body feels huge and my mouth tastes like sugar. where is the painting for me? did edward hopper ever use cigarette ashes as a medium? i could sleep ten thousand years
Hilma af Klint painted the truth about world and history. She was born in Karlbergs Slott which is the oldest military academy in the world. This is no coincidence...
Confused. I do not understand. Am I lost? Am I from another world? Am I in space? Please explain and help me. Perhaps it's not to be explained. 12 year old asking.
This is probably one of the most underrated art channels on youtube. Beautifully made videos. Love the contents!
Thank you so much for saying that! So glad to hear you’re enjoying them :)

Beautiful! ❤️
I'm super grateful to learn about this wonderful artist, but I think you should have shown many more paintings of hers!
This was our second video ever. Someday we hope to make a full documentary about her with ALL the paintings!

Love her art!
Yes! It’s so gorgeous!
🖤🖤🖤
I wish your videos were longer
Our more recent ones are!
What is the song in the back of video?
Where can i listen to the intro song??
It was composed just for Several Circles so it's not really a song. You can always hear it on this channel!
@@badelectric4029 ok thx
Hilma was "advised" by Rudolf Steiner whom she admired , to bury her paintings for a while, as the world was not ready for them he believed. HELLO!
thank-you for that

Oh no! Maybe a technical issue?
Real
Fascinating content. The narration is WAY TOO FAST, though. If you slow down, we can better take in your writing and scholarship.
ofc kandinsky stole the claim from her
I wish u'd made a bit more of an effort to at least pronounce her name correctly :-/
Cool paintings but no proof, and nuts
Describing her paintings as 'masterpieces' is stretching it a bit.
