How does one charge a battery using solar power, with the aid of a solar controller? Will the solar controller connect to the same terminal on the battery? Additionally, do we need to program the battery parameters into the inverter? Thank you for great videos 👍
the solar charge controller is what charges the Battery, He didn't show one in this setup. But you could easily add an mppt charge controller to this sytem and charge your batteries. The charge controller would connect to your battery and the solar panels.
Is it possible to utilize Cerbo VRM for configuring split phase setup instead of purchasing an MK3 cable and using VE config multi? Thanks for great setup
Thanks for the video. I too have a Victron system and curious about how it’s grounded. I’m not talking about grounded to the case, but where in the software you decide it’s either off grid or hybrid?
When charing the Tesla, looks like 5431w coming from battery and only 4608w going to Tesla. That means the victron system is only 84% efficient, is that correct?
By my math that seems to be correct although whatever number is used gave me close to 86%. Which makes me thing something’s not right bc Victron rates the efficiency as “maximum efficiency” to be 94%
Awfully impressive setup there, sir! Very informative, great stuff here. Keep up the great work!

Not that im aware of. It would be very nice to be able to do that though.

You don't. If it receives power in the A/C input, it uses that input as ground. Otherwise ground is bonded to neutral internally.

@ exactly, that’s what I’m questioning. Supposed to be MUCH higher.
It could be just in the settings, or are there other loads involved?
