Awesome build, but I have to say that the conversation at the end was the best part. Those are the kind of conversations that make me want to sit around the campfire with fellow off roaders.

That’s an awesome rig !! I drive a 100 series V8 2002 now for 14 years, completely OEM. Now started with bfGoodr. and some new braid rims. Steelbumps fr. and back, warn winch etc. This definitely inspires me to go for more. Super clean !! Luv it! Cheers from the swiss alps 🇨🇭

Only criticism is, the poxy suspension he chose. OME is such an average performing setup to have on any heavy IFS 100 Series Cruiser, especially one of this calibre. Oh well, hopefully he has upgraded that suspension by now.

Only downfall is the gas mileage...
I just grabbed a 99 LX 472 days ago. Yes, the gas mileage is a negative but about on par with most rigs of this caliber.
I live in Australia and the D bags that work at ARB in my area and sell OME shocks can jam it,, Im going icon,, the extra cost will be worth it.

2.5 inch on an ifs is a decent lift. Those ball joints on the UCA look a little squashed. Other than that, it's a decent 100 especially considering its not a common platform in USA.
Saw this rig for sale a couple months ago on south Broadway in Denver. It had like 40k on the window.

Is there any rubbing with the 285/75/17 tires at all? I have a 200 series Landcruiser with BP-51 OME suspension and I'm running 285/70/17 on mine.
No rubbing issues for him that I am aware of, but I am sure a 100 series fender well and a 200 series are different. But I do know he does not have mud flaps on the truck.
I have a little bit just at the pinch welds. I still need to get in there and beat them in. But it's only at full stuff.
xzer baluyot pinch welds but can’t be easily retrofitted to clear.
What Size tires? Have a 99 LX470 with only a center diff. Any recommendations for putting in a rear locker?
TheGuz36 if I was putting a locker in I would do an ARB! The tires are 285/75r17's!

Where can I find those Whelen light mounts for the rear hatch spoiler? Those are super cool. I like how it bolts up to the same holes as the spoiler, so no need to drill.
Christians Prepared and Ready those aren't Whelen mounts, only whelen lights bolted to the mounts. I bought those mounts from a company that has since gone out of business. I can't even remember the company name anymore!

Do you have to replace torsion bars when you did lift running stock control arms?

grill is from a custom shop actually called “Land Cruiser Grilles” i’m pretty sure it’s at landcruisergrilles.com. or something similar. the headlights are available online maybe even Amazon. they’re one-piece headlights from a company called Dipo and he’s had them customized with LED projectors by a different company called HID. he bought the lights and then sent them to HID to customize them.

The grille was made by land cruiser grilles! The headlight conversion was done by HIDProjectors.com

that is a nice 100 series cruiser. maybe I missed but it didn't have diff lockers? and other than that it's a nice vehicle

Carl Wells I believe it just had the factory center locker. But I will allow Ben to speak on that.
Carl Wells it has the factory rear E-Locker and center diff lock. The front diffs are weak in these. So I'm scared to put an ARB in there.
@@beanzermin If you put a ARB in there it will not break. Personally I would go with the Eaton locker.
Beanzermin swapping in an ARB up front fixed the “weak” front diff
