- Here is what my car sounds like, after the B303 cam, new 44 series flowmasters , abd gutted "cat" were finished.
The video doesnt sound like much, since i was filming in a corner, but once i moved the camera, you can hear HOW LUMPY the car sounds,,,,,Enjoy,,,,it sure gets alot of attention at a traffic light.

Hi Gentleman, i sold the car 2 years ago,,,,,,,im in a upper class now i replaced my mustang, for a 1981 Pro Street Fairmont Furtura, full cage, fuel cell Mickey Thompson 6632 's for rear thread, on the back,,,,,,,,,,,,what a wild ride !!
Mistake lol. The notchback prices are going crazy.

Nice start to modding a Fox body. I once had a B cam in my '89 with ported stock heads, 1.7 roller rockers with the cam set up advanced 4 degrees (this required deepening the valve reliefs in the pistons) and long tube headers.
That is a beautiful fox. b303. is my favorite great car. .. it is your car do what you want with. .

Sounds good man. I got an ecam with trickflow heads and edelbrock intake. Nothing beats a good lump,lol
my mechanic did most of the work, he thinks the injectors are not stock, he had to " flash " the computor twice , to get it to accept the radical cam, i also had to totally empty the cats, ,,,it lower the exhaust temp,

You gutted the cats vs straight pipe? is there a difference??
Claude Hurley it still has the mufflers, a straight pipe has no cats or mufflers. Pretty sure his still has the mufflers.

I also have a stock h.0 .. I intrested in a b303 and 410 gears and new cold air intake…. Will that be a good set up?

Is everthing else stock on the motor other then the cam and exhaust. Sounds grrrrreat
Hey really nice car! Just a few questions. When you did the B303 is that all you swapped out or did you have to lifters , springs , rockers etc..?
you don’t necessarily HAVE to... but it is highly recommended.

I would have done the “x” cam upper and lower intake, throttle body bigger injection. Better trans, and rear end moderate turbo. Cheap power
Were any other larts required? Or is the b cam a direct drop in?

I have a 1991 LX 5.0 that still has the stock cam and exhaust. I want to do what you did with your car... the headers, b-cam etc. Did you run the stock injectors, and intake plenum? Did you have to degree the camshaft? Thanks for any suggestions or help... thanks for posting!
Is your notchback an automatic or stick shift?
303b & 303e ones for automatics the other for Manual 5-speeds...

I was told a B303 should not be used with FI only a carb!
How much extra horsepower will a B303 cam make??

1gerger1 yea thanks!! I have a 1992 convertible 5 speed. Flow master super 10 mufflers, shorty headers and no cats... Plus some small add ons... I'm looking at getting a cam

I wonder if the b303 cam will work with my 85 5.0 afr 165 heads with stock springs? I may stroke it to a 342 as well.
Works best with gt40 heads

it failed the etest BIGTIME, so, my mechanic gave it a " conditional pass,,,,,

Why would anyone want to use a b can for the street it's for bracket racing it sounds good but it's not streetable!

Ironically, I sold it, 3 weeks ago, And bought myself,, a , pro street Fairmont, Just like Bob Gliddens.
Did u have to replace the valve springs and pushrods to use that cam?
