Greatest flop check from 1st to act and 2 players behind after flopping top two on a card that hit the other two players ranges (A)but may also make them feel safe enough to c-bet or stab at the pot as the other two cards did not, ever! Show me a better flop check when 1st to act!
Many experts say you are to bet into the raiser there. You are looking at the outcome which is amateurish thinking.

I agree. To try to squeeze the tightest guy at the table and then an obvious crazy guy (matasow) who is playing as tight as possible since he owed people so much money was insane. the raise was an internet player randomly doing a squeeze because he saw the money in the pot. One of the worst plays I have seen dealing with not knowing the players at your table.
And Chris was playing it cool, as usual. 😎

The reason Ivey folds there with 85 is because if Jetten has A5 or 56, his straight draws are fucked and he's really only drawing to a flush which could get over-flushed if Samahies led with AhXh

It,s hard to fold that 1st hand, im pretty new to poker but a great player told me " Aggression is the key to poker, FOLDING is the secret" . It,s something to think about.
Now having said that on the 3rd or 4th hand when phil had 2 pair K2 and the 3rd heart came if i was smith i would have raised 75 thousand.

Robert Williamson was a decent mix game player, absolutely atrocious commentator. Most of his call outs to what the players will do or should do was horrible advice. It surprises me he actually made a living playing with his assessments of hands
These announcers are so clueless. The worst was when they say that Zigmund outplayed Phil Ivey, when Zigmund had the better hand, he bet, and Ivey folded. How lame! Only a K or an 8 on the river would help Ivey. He made a good lay down. Outplayed? Such a dumb comment.
