Agree, he is totally out clased and dwann and antonio figured this out. Foldman was basically blinding himself out unless he had AA or KK pre-flop type hands. I respect that he gave it a shot to play with the best, but he is terrible. Chris Ferguson though maybe even tighter than Foldman knows how to play against this type of field better. I knew foldman was completely terrible in the earlier episode when Gus Hanson said he would show both of his cards for 1k in a 300k pot that would of occured if foldman called. Foldman wouldn't know what to do with the information so thought 1k wasn't worth it.

I know this is ancient but why the hell does the dealer dictate the cards on the board? Also ludicrously annoying to announce every action by the players. Unless this of course is made for blind people who like to hear poker I guess 😅
I never understood why players in late position wait til its their turn to then take a look at their cards. While all eyes are on them. I like matusow, am self taught and generally proficient at this game. I've always had the opinion of looking at my cards while being dealt too in late position. I play mostly off my intuitive instincts and I've always wanted to get all the information possible without giving any post flop information to my opponents. Only way you can do that is by not letting your opponents evaluate anything you do post flop between the moment you look at your hand and bet/call/fold. Human behavioral patterns is crucial when it comes to being profitable at this game. You can still look at your hand and get all the information you need by just looking while being dealt too. It's a great tactic because you can all the post flop info you can and when it becomes your turn to act and eyes are on you, they can never get a beat on you post flop because you didn't have to look at your hand. I get all my reads mostly from the time it takes you to bet/call after looking at your hand and betting patterns. I know I'm not the only one on this planet that sees the game the same way.
Every time someone folds the worst hand it is "a great laydown" according to the commentators. Maybe it is a product of its time, but today a lot of these "great" laydowns are pretty standard ...
