The Barricades of Heaven - Jackson Browne Cover

Happy Tuesday, and if you clicked on this song you too must be a Jackson Browne fan. Not only will you get “Barricades” today, but will enjoy Friday’s drop as well as we continue with JB. We are calling it our salute to February; two songs from either one artist or from a common theme and we think you’re gonna love it.
Browne released this song in 1996 on his Looking East album. It seems as if Jackson wrote this song about himself after leaving home at 16, but there are other reflections on what this song means.
This video, from 2022, was an early start to learning the ropes and Jackie does her best to give it a unique perspective. As usual, I took on bass duties and enjoyed the change off pace this song offered me. We hope you find it satisfying.
